Ashby Woulds Lodges and Spa Reviews

"Lovely lodge you could have been a million miles away so peaceful and quiet."
Tracy - Jul 2022
"Nice 4 day break very relaxing."
Ronald - Jul 2022
"We had a lovely break the lodge was spotlessly clean lovely soft towels provided, plenty of wardrobe space in both rooms. The beds were comfy. Hot tub checked and cleaned each day. My only negative is the kitchen knives were very blunt so struggled to even slice a tomato but that's the only negative I could state we had a lovely time and would definitely go back again."
Kerry - Jul 2022
"Amazing pleace 100%"
Katarzyna - Jul 2022
"All enjoyed our stay but wished the spar had been up and running. Very good location and lodge was very well equipped and clean. Very good value for money."
Julie - Jul 2022
"My third time here and I absolutely love it!"
Verified Guest - Jun 2022
"loved it will defiantly return again"
Kelly - Jun 2022
"Beautiful lodge in very peaceful setting. Nice walk along the lake/river. Hot tub was fab. Ian the staff was so helpful. A really lovely break."
Verified Guest - Jun 2022
"This is our second stay at Ashby woulds and we would stay again. The local area is nice with things to do- it’s close enough to town for takeaways or dinner out and the lodges are in a nice private gated park which made us feel safe. It’s very laid back and quiet and the hot tub is lovely!"
Lauren - May 2022
"Holiday location great but lodge was poor did report issues but was apparently repair but still kept going wrong."
Scott - Apr 2022
"Absolutely fantastic"
Nicola - Apr 2022
"Absolutely fantastic will be booking again! Lodge was unreal perfect couple get away"
Katie - Apr 2022
"We had the most amazing 4 nights. Ive never been on a lodge break before but i am sold, we had such a fab time. With a young child going away can be a stress but this lodge has EVERYTHING you need! It is like being at home away from home its just perfect. The price was very reasonable for everything you have. The whole lodge was spotless upon arrival and it was also really peaceful. We barely heard any noise from other lodges even though they are quite close together which was ideal."
Tallulah - Mar 2022
"Holiday lodge wonderful."
Elaine - Mar 2022
"Beds very comfortable and the place was spotless on arrival and had a lovely vibe. The only slightly negative was the sofas could do with replacing or having new foam in the seat cushions, but not a big deal and everything looked good."
Andrea - Mar 2022
"Would recommend to everyone to try the experience"
Raymond - Feb 2022
"Lodge old, fittings terrible, gas oven scary (I saw next door had torn the oven out and left it outside which is probably the safest place for it). They may once have been lovely but not any more. We had lodge 16, looks over car park and reception and very close to neighbours, hot tub noisy at night. I don't recommend it"
Zoe - Jan 2022
"Really great place for families. We went as a couple and it was really good however the privacy issue was a problem. You have to keep all windows covered at all times or feel like someone is watching you. The lodges seem to be packed in together really tight and you can see everyone in their hot tub. This isn't an issue at night and it feels more private at this time. Overall it was an enjoyable holiday. There is loads of lovely walks near by and it is such a lovely area. We would come back again."
Matt - Jan 2022
"The comfiest bed I have ever slept in!!"
Louise - Jan 2022
"The grandchildren love it"
Nina - Dec 2021
"Stunning Lodge and very spacious. Gorgeous bathroom. Absolutely loved the lodge. Unfortunately the hottub was cold on arrival so couldn't use it until the following day but otherwise was great. Would go back again."
Shona - Nov 2021
"Lovely clean spacious the little details like washing tablets , dishwasher tablets just made it so easy"
Kelly - Nov 2021
"There were lots of little bits of damage to walls and doors throughout. Paid for a waterside setting but couldn't see view through the hedgerow. Damage to decking around hot tub. Dirt in light fittings and behind furniture. Tumble dryer door was temperamental so daren't use it. Leg of stool in bedroom fell off when it was moved away from the wall. Advertised as having sky TV in all bedrooms but everyone has to watch the same thing and the TV in the lounge has to be left on in order for it to transmit. Very disappointed as we were so looking forward to it after having to rebook from 2020 and paying an extra £100 to do so. Many of these issues could and should have been rectified whilst the site was not in operation."
Andrea - Nov 2021
"Just a little tired around the edges could with a little attention"
Michael - Sep 2021
"Overall had a lovely time"
Leanne - Aug 2020
"A lovely clean lodge in a prime location"
Kerry - Aug 2020
"We booked this lodge at short notice after our holiday abroad got cancelled. The lodge was great and there was plenty to do in the area. We went to the Zoo, Clay pigeon shooting, national trust properties and there were loads of local walks. There is a large playground and football pitches next to the lodges for anyone with children."
Deborah - Aug 2020
"Very pleased with the lodge, clean, spacious and up to date"
Kristian - Jul 2020
"Great relaxing holiday"
Jayne - Jul 2020
"Brilliant!! Thanks for a lovely break!"
Daniel - Jul 2020
"Amazing would come back again fir sure not one bad comment"
Chloe - Jul 2020
"Exactly what we needed post Corona Lockdown.
Nice lodge and surroundings. Clean with fantastic staff.
Couldn't fault it."
Andrew - Jul 2020
"Lovely lodge which was very spacious."
Rebecca - Mar 2020
"Absolutely lovely time had. Thank you to the team"
Rebecca - Mar 2020
"The only thing I would have changed is to have some nets up as our neighbours were staring in a lot so we had to keep the curtains closed."
Lynsay - Mar 2020
"We wanted a comfortable lodge not far from home and that is what we got."
Lynda - Mar 2020
"only things we can fault the lodge on is there was no instructions on how to use the microwave and cooker we had to pay a £150 security deposit it would have been helpfull if hoseasons had informed us of this in the description of the site instead of putting it on the confirmation after we had booked and paid"
