Redbrick Woodland Lodges in Nottinghamshire have a tranquil setting within woodland around a small lake. The location is ideal for those wishing to explore the region and local attractions include Sherwood Visitors Centre which is situated in the forest and offers fun activities for families including nature trails. Children wall also enjoy spotting the many squirrels.

Redbrick Woodland Lodges are situated in the grounds of a stately home so the site is very peaceful and activities are low key. There is however are bar and a restaurant serving tasty food in a relaxed atmosphere. Those seeking adventure can enjoy horse riding, cycling, golf and walking very close to the site.

Accommodation at Redbrick Woodland Lodges is rather unique as each of the American Round Log lodges have been individually styled. All lodges have private outdoor hot tubs with beautiful park views, flat screen TV, fitted kitchen with dishwasher and wood burning stove as well as central heating.

Lakeview Lodges sleep 4 and have one large master double bedroom and one twin bedroom. Moshannan Lodges are two storey lodges with contemporary décor and can sleep 6 with two double bedrooms and sofa bed in the lounge. Parkland Lodge offers outstanding style and comfort and can sleep up to 6 people. This lodge has a master suite on the upper floor and one double and a twin bedroom downstairs.

Unfortunately the floors were very dirty, when we got there I was wearing white socks and they were completely blackened by that evening. The lodge is in a lovely area and there is a lot to do in the surrounding areas. Great value for money and I would go back."

"Some of the basic kitchen equipment missing, eg no potato peeler, no jug, only a very small frying pan to name a few. Also WhatsApp message system worked well when they wanted your deposit etc but when we reported a couple of issues why we were there we never even got a response (and still not one week later). Lodge is very clean, spacious and modern."

"Loxley large is the perfect getaway for couples. The lodge was spotless on our arrival and the heating had been turned on for us which made a warm welcome. The hot tub was also ready for us to get straight into it. The location of where Loxley lodge is was next to the Great barn which holds a lot more people so could get quite loud. But me and my partner did not mind this one bit. But we all like different things"

Lodge itself was super large - with a nice communal space for us to sit and talk.
The hot tub was great and easily fitted all 6 of us.

The beds were comfortable - some more squeaky than others but comfy.
Showers were good.
Both were clean and well maintained.

We had a lovely view, from the Lakeview Lodge. There is no where for you to go for a walk, the grounds itself is restricted but we felt safe, that was more important.

This is an all weather attraction located in Ilkeston Derbyshire. With a large play frame as well as bikes and ride on toys this is a fun place for young children. The toddler time sessions take place during term times on week days from 9.30am until 2.30pm and are very popular. The admission fee is excellent value for money and parents can sit down and enjoy a drink while the children play. A new baby changing facility has now been installed together with some new chairs making this a clean and welcoming attraction for families. The site is rather unique and features a huge array of rides including log flumes, roller coasters and pirate ships.
