Black Hall Lodges Reviews

"Top notch and I don't see how you will be disappointed."
Thomas - Jun 2022
"Nice lodge perfect for a couple. Sauna and hot tub great additions. Very peaceful."
Yvonne - Jun 2022
"Just wanted to say how much we have enjoyed our stay. Due to delay in the delivery of my passport renewal. We almost didn't have a honeymoon but found and booked this place last minute to get away for a couple of nights. We have enjoyed all the facilities and I'm in complete awe by the dedication and work that has gone into the whole development. Everything is perfect and has been thought through even to the smallest detail! So glad we decided to stay in the UK and to have experienced this place. Will be booking another trip in October for a birthday and then all future anniversaries will be done here! Have been talking about this place non stop to family and friends since coming back!"
Adam - May 2022
"Not what we were hoping for had to clean as soon as we arrived as there was so many flies and had to clean as not sure were they were landing"
Christine - May 2022
"Driving into the resort you immediately feel relaxed due to scenic surrounds and the huddles of cabins, inside they are spacious and comfortable with ample outside dining furniture and hot tub, the pool is heated to a nice temperature and never gets to full due to the booking process, the games area is large, clean with ample games to play or tv to relax whilst the children play, a few miles from Knighton town for a pub and shops. If you just want to get away from it all, this is the place !!"
Jason - May 2022
"The lodge was amazing as were the facilities onsite. Countryside around the area is perfect for walks. Only downside was the number of flies in and outside the lodge when the weather got warmer, probably because our lodge was meters from the barns of the working farm. Would still return and would recommend but would probably book a different lodge."
Adam - May 2022
"The lodge was spacious and warmed up quickly when needed. Hot tub didn't stay warm but staff came quickly to fix it."
Sarah - Apr 2022
"The lodge its self was very clean and well equipped with all the facilities mentioned. Our lodge had a DVD player and in the games room there was a help yourself choice to around 200 DVDs to suit all tastes and age groups."
Iain - Mar 2022
"We stayed in Michigan and it was wonderful. The pictures on the site don't do it credit as the inside has been upgraded. It's like home from home."
Carly - Feb 2022
"I slept better there than at home and I have a lot of problems sleeping , so I guess that says it all , once again thank you"
Verona - Feb 2022
"The lodge is beautiful, it had everything we needed plus more! Wonderful views from the lodge and the wood burner and hot tub were fantastic for a winter's stay. Lovely touches include a dog bed, treats and bowls! We will be back!"
Emma - Nov 2021
"Had a lovely stay in Erie log cabin , everything so clean and tidy , lovely views , very relaxing , had everything we needed , hot tub was great , good temperature and very private , enjoy the log burner too all st ready to just lite, only issue was the lack of signal or wi-fi , good to get away from it all though "
Jenny - Aug 2020
"We have just returned from our 3 night stay at the couples VIP lodge and Im extremely sad to be home after spending the most amazing weekend at black hall lodges. The lodge was immaculate upon arrival, the lodge itself was so beautiful. We made full use of the hot tub and sauna and even just relaxing in the lodge itself. Due to the new online booking system to adhere to government guidelines we managed to have a slot in the swimming pool to ourselves which was perfect, and finished off with a few games of pool in the games room. The site itself is so lovely and spacious, our lodge was so private and the countryside was beautiful. For a couple who loves walking we enjoyed a walk through the nature trail and around the park, along with a short drive to the carding valley and long Mynd and enjoyed a walk up to the waterfalls. Myself and my partner thoroughly enjoy our trips to a nice lodge with a hot tub and I am proud to say this is definitely one of the best we have ever been to. It was perfect and exactly what was needed after such a long few months. I really cannot express enough how fantastic this place is, it is the perfect getaway to relax and I could not think of a bad word or any improvements needed at all. I cannot wait to return and thank you for providing such a beautiful place for us to get away."
Jodie - Aug 2020
"Great lodge. We took the dog, three children 11 years to 17 years. Plenty of space and every convenience we could have expected at home. We did a mix of cooking and eating out (to help out). There were no problems with anything. The hot tub is superb and checked each day so not over done with chemicals. Also kept nice and warm "
Alwyn - Aug 2020
"This is a family run holiday park. Everyone is friendly and helpful. The lodges are spotless and everything you need is provided. Weve been multiple times now and will continue to return. The extra cost of the hot tub makes it a bit pricey but great for a relaxing weekend."
Marie - Aug 2020
"A fabulous lodge set in wonderful surroundings. Particularly well thought out covid regulations ensuring we felt completely safe throughout our stay. The pool was open and we had it to ourselves (as did most guests as you had to book in). Also a really good games room with pool, darts, table football - again very clean. The lodge itself was really clean and comfortable and the hottub was great! Really recommend this place!"
Nichola - Aug 2020
"A beautiful lodge with stunning views. Very friendly staff and very clean. The pool was loveley and the games room was a bonus. Even through the pandemic, we felt very safe"
Maria - Aug 2020
"Ideal for a romantic getaway for a few days of peace and relaxation! Very clean and well kept. Beautiful views...win win all round!"
Melissa - Aug 2020
"Fabulous lodge with great facilities including sauna, hot tub and large bathroom. Great views over the hills. Pretty private."
Gail - Aug 2020
"Excellent holiday, will definitely go again."
Alison - Aug 2020
"Amazing stay. Couldnt fault it apart from so many flies."
Angela - Aug 2020
"Lovely place to relax"
Rebecca - Jul 2020
"Black hall lodges and the area that they are set in is so beautiful, the lodges all have there own hot tubs and decking and garden areas and the surrounding area is lovely, if you are looking for somewhere with lots going on and pubs etc that are in walking distance then maybe its not the place, but if you like gorgeous lodges hot tubs beautiful scenery and peaceful surroundings and total relaxation then black hall lodges has that and more, there is also a swimming pool and games area, which I cant comment on as they were closed at the time of our stay due to Covid-19, which didnt impact our holiday, cant wait to come back in September and again for New Years Eve."
Tracy - Jul 2020
"Had a wonderful stay here. The couples vip lodge was perfect luxurious and exceptionally clean. The surroundings are beautiful and so peaceful. We will definitely be returning as soon as possible."
Melanie - Jul 2020
"Overall such a lovely few days staying in an luxious log cabin! Lovely nature surroundings but you might need to drive a while to the next town. Would happily return next time and would definitely recommend this park to others."
Kathryn - Jul 2020
"Great holiday. Would visit again but free wifi would have made it perfect. No phone signal or 4G"
Alison - Jul 2020
"I came here with 3 of my friends and we stayed in the superior lodge.

The lodge itself was beautiful and had everything we needed for the 2 nights we stayed here. From kitchen appliances to towels and toiletries.

The hot tub was so easy to use and was ready to go whenever we wanted to get in.

It was a shame the check in was so late but of course extra cleaning time was needed which we understood.

The only fault for us would be the WiFi - you get 1gb free, however for two of us we found it to stop working very quickly. There was the option to buy more but for the sake of one day we didnt bother.

Overall, we had a great stay here and would come back again, thank you!"
Lauren - Jul 2020
"The lodge was perfect, comfortable living area, fantastic bedroom"
Malcolm - Mar 2020
"Excellent time to relax"
Maria - Mar 2020
"The lodge is quite new but it was lovely and modern and had everything you could possibly need."
Charlene - Mar 2020
"An amazing place to holiday, the cabins are beautiful, what made it more special were the little things the staff did like had 2 fans on for when we arrived it was the hottest day, ice cubes already in the freezer. Its so peaceful and relaxing. The space between cabins is perfect. Oh and the views are stunning. We spent our 20th Wedding Anniversary there and plan on going again."
Tanya - Aug 2022
"Wonderful quiet location with beautiful views Ideal if you like peace and relaxation"
Carolyn - Jul 2022
"Lovely holiday apart from the flies in the lodge was glad when time to leave due only to the flies"
Rebecca - Jul 2022
"Lovely holiday. Really enjoyed the hot tub and the peaceful location. Swimming pool also excellent and the lodge itself was modern and well kept with all the features that we needed."
David - Jul 2022
"Absolutely beautiful area."
Steven - Jul 2022
"Great Lodge, every piece of kitchen equipment you could ever use. Lodges are spotlessly clean and the location is so beautiful. Really peaceful and restful. We love it here - this was our 5/6th visit and won't be our last."
Dawn - Jul 2022
"Had lovely time here shame stopping having dogs as would have re booked to go back . Some lodges little close together and near working farm but otherwise lovely and would recommend"
Lisa - Jul 2022
"Lovely relaxing holiday. Very clean lodge. Great walks & views on Offa's Dyke. Would have been better if the games room and swimming pool were open for longer (as we missed out on using them in the evening after days out). Swimming pool and sauna were great. Overall very pleased with our experience. Thank you Black Hall!"
Belle - Jul 2022
"Great accommodation, pool and location. Perfectly clean and well maintained as always. Will return again."
James - Jul 2022
"Really peaceful and luxurious. We stayed in Erie Lodge which was super private, well appointed, clean and comfortable. Enjoyed using the pool and games hall. Looking forward to using the gym and doing some walks next time. Hot tub superb"
