Westholme Lodges Reviews

"Check with westholme directly before booking to check what you get and what you dont as we fully expected a hot tub untill arvial told our room is excluded."

"loacation perfect. food nice, nice view. hot tub well maintained. lodge beautiful apart from a few cobwebs, understandable as was closing the day we left for total refurb."

"Really cozy cabin , plenty of space for the two of us"

"Was really good enjoyed so much and would definitely come back."
Matthew - Nov 2017
"The scenery was from Aygarth Falls . There are some lovely walks round here."
Robin - Oct 2017
"Bathrooms were a little dark but the lodge was really well equipped with dishwasher, washing machine etc. A little mean with the crockery - although we had a dishwasher there weren't enough plates etc to get through! Small problem though in what was an amazing space to chill out and enjoy the beautiful dales.
So great having the large lobby area for boots etc since this was a walking holiday and we had a lot of boots and shoes!"
Anthony - Oct 2017
"A great holiday will definitely come back."
Graham - Oct 2017
"Lovely location and lodge, staff friendly, will be back"
Ruth - Oct 2017
"Excellent lodge with super facilities ,location and views."

"This is the second time we have visited and came away for our anniversary as we are expecting a baby soon and just wanted to relax. This is one location that allows you to do just that, regardless of your interests."
Mark - Oct 2017
"had a problem with the mattress in the twin room, which staff tried but were unable to rectify during our short break.
Must commend the staff on their prompt return of the coats we left in the lodge when we returned home"
John - Oct 2017
"Maybe a couple of more plates and cutlery would make the dishwasher more relevant."

Val - Aug 2017
"This place is amazing, the staff are the best, friendly helpful responsive and nothing is too much. The place is dog friendly, they have cabins pet friendly and separate ones for none pet people :) Daisy ( our dog ) is always welcomed and with a biscuit and a bowl of water and plenty of fussing. The Pub/Restaurant has a dog room so you can book a room separate for dog owners,
The cabins are beautiful, well equipped, spacious, most have a well contained balcony ( ideal for Daisy to run around and be outside but contained )
The Hot Tub is well maintained, they are fantastic hot tubs, been to a few other places and these are the best by far.
location is beautiful with good access to local places, Hawes, Layburn and much more.
This place is the BEST!!!
Thank you for another great holiday, am sure we will see you next year :)"
Paul - Aug 2017
"Great time in the hottub . New looking lodge with all mod cons"
Stuart - Aug 2017
"As previous said. Good value for money, Nice and relaxing. Lodge had everything you needed."
Tracey - Jul 2017
"Fantastic few days away. Very peaceful. The lodge was perfect. Very clean and spacious. Took our dogs with us, brilliant area for a long walk out. Only downside was that the lodges that are for pets are not fenced off. So would not come back with dogs. But overall the atmosphere and surroundings were perfect for what we needed. Would definitely stay again."
Chloe - Jul 2017
"Generally a great place to be. Love it here."
Michael - Jul 2017
"Brilliant time and a cracking location."

This is a recommended day out for families with young children visiting the Bedale area of Yorkshire.  Visit the farm and receive a warm welcome as well as a guided tour.  You will have the chance to bottle feed the lambs, bath a pig and handle some of the smaller animals.  Kids will love the big sandpit and the outdoor play area. There is also a cafe and indoor play area for when the weather is not on your side.

Situated in the Ripon area of North Yorkshire this popular theme park makes a fantastic day out for the whole family.  The more daring will love the big and thrilling rides such as Raptor Attack, The Ultimate and Trauma Tower.  For the little ones there are some excellent attractions such as Flying Camels, Dodgems and a Magic Wheel.  Toddlers will like the Dragon Boats and the Lightwater Express amongst other things. There are over 40 rides and attractions in total and we think this is excellent value for money too.  If you book your tickets in advance online you can save even more money and beat the queues.

Located in the Milnthorpe area of Cumbria we love this local attraction.  With an eclectic mix of fascinating wildlife and hands on displays this centre is educational as well as fun.  You can wander around at leisure admiring the exhibits which range from chameleons to computers. Some of the most threatened species are kept at the park as part if international breeding programmes.  Check out their website for the latest opening times and admission costs which are great value for money.  There are discounts for pre-booked parties of 12 or more.
