About Drimsynie Holiday Village

Lochgoilhead Lodges are set in the midst of the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park and attached to the impressive Drimsynie House Hotel with its stunning nine hole golf course. This is a really beautiful setting, backed by mountains and overlooking Loch Goil. The hotel has two superb restaurants and bars that stage family entertainment in the evenings.

Lochgoilhead is the perfect base for exploring the stunning scenery of the Western Highlands. Back at Lochgoilhead Lodges, there is ice skating, bowls and snooker, badminton, table tennis and even indoor bowling! The Jacuzzi, steam room, large indoor pool and gym are perfect for unwinding – and there is golf, free fishing in Loch Goil and plenty of activities for the children.

The Eagle Premier VIP Lodge is a spacious A-frame contemporary lodge that sleeps up to six people and has a private outdoor hot tub on the verandah. The Osprey Premier VIP Lodge also has its own  private hot tub and there is a shop and a launderette close by.

Visitors to Argyllshire can explore Scottish history at the turreted Inverary Castle or enjoy a trip to Oban, a picturesque harbour town with its very own chocolate factory! Oban is also the gateway to the Isles – Islay and Jura are famous for their distinctive malt whiskies. A visit to Ardkinglas Woodland Garden at Cairndow or Benmore Botanic Gardens in Argyll would be the perfect way to spend a relaxing day.

Drimsynie Holiday Village Reviews

"The lodge was clean and in a beautiful location. The staff where friendly and helpful. My young nephew really enjoyed the entertainment at night and it is the most dog friendly place I have ever been. So we all hope to come back soon!"
Reagan - Aug 2022
"Will definitely return was so much activities for my son to take part in. Surrounding views were stunning. Caravan was absolutely beautiful and spotless. Great time had by all. Had a weeks holiday and could definitely have stayed longer"
Margaret - Aug 2022
"Very friendly and informative staff all round. Beautiful surroundings, we had a hot tub and were not overlooked by anyone and the views were amazing. We complained about a dog barking constantly as he was left on his own after around 7pm till late on night. Within the hour a member of staff came to inform us this had been dealt with and thanked us for reporting it. Apart from the dog barking the remainder of the time the site was peaceful. Reported sound was not working on TV in the living area and this was replaced the next morning."
Val - Jul 2022
"The overall holiday experience was very good, the venue amazing and all the staff friendly. On our first evening we needed further information regarding our bungalow but reception was not open. This was a Saturday so I presume a lot of people had booked in that day, there were other people at the desk looking for staff at the same time as me (approx 7pm). I would suggest a later time for popular book in days or at least put a notice up so people know they have gone home."
Nikki - Jul 2022
"After a few initial problems on site we had a wonderful time and would recommend the site to anybody. We were upgraded to the most beautiful lodge we have ever stopped in. Everything was there. Great time was gad by all."
Neil - Jul 2022
"Stunning place to visit, would be great if there was a cash machine for easiness, overall 10/10 stay. Will definitely be back!"
Deana - Jul 2022

"This was a last minute holiday as we had been due to travel to Hungary and it turned out to be wonderful even the weather was kind . If the entertainment and all facilities had been available this really would have made for a all round fantastic holiday."
Lynn - Aug 2020
"I recommend this lodge strongly.
Our family had a memorable holiday ever. The lake view through the window in main bedroom was fantastic so It came a best birthday gift for me."

Sheena - Jul 2020
"Good holiday, nice golf course, friendly staff, decent shop on site"
Ian - Jul 2020
"The caravan was spotless. Only issue was the early check out at 9am which is a bit stressful. You have to pay for WiFi even though there is no entertainment. They could have given more to make up for having no entertainment or facilities open."
Graeme - Jul 2020
"Great place to go with family, golf, swimming, walking, pub!"
Fiona - Jul 2020
"Accommodation was much more spacious than we expected. It suits our family well."
Debbie - Jul 2020
"Overall excellent. Thanks to the superb team members. Very professional and efficient service provided by all."
Susanne - Mar 2020
"We felt that the lodge was clean and comfortable, however, the water in the en-suite shower in one of the twin rooms ran cool to cold which was not ideal. We have visited many lodges and caravans and when compared we didn't feel that the price charged was good value. Particularly when gas and electricity was an additional charge and you have to pay for swimming. We feel that this is perhaps a little greedy but would still go back as overall the holiday was fab!"
Hazel - Mar 2020
"Enjoyed our 4 day break 100%. Lovely scenic surrounding's."
Brian - Mar 2020
"Perfectly adaquate .... points knocked off for the kitchen really ... frying pan handle just about falling off and tin opener didnt work and only one chopping board so personal issues with cross contamination fears raw/cooked meat bread etc.
3 Dining room chairs were very wobbly.... just need tightening up"
Susan - Feb 2020
"Excellent despite weather"
Michael - Feb 2020
"Will definitely be returning to this beautiful part of Scotland again and the fantastic family run holiday park, on the Drimsynie estate."

Linda - Feb 2020
"We had a lovely time, even if the weather didnt behave! The staff absolutely make this place, particularly those who have worked there for a number of years. They really treat you like friends and make you feel so at home!"
Elaine - Feb 2020
"Lovely cabin. Nice and warm. Toasty hot tub outside. Not very secluded though. Several passers by peeking in at us using the hot tub. But was less than 50m to the main building. Which holds the pool and restaurant etc..."
