Landal Gwel an Mor Reviews

"Had a lovely time. The lodge was fantastic. It would have been a 10 it is just a shame that they do not brush away all the cobwebs on the decking which have been there for quite some time. All the staff provided excellent customer service. The spa treatment was one of the best i’ve had. Overall a great experience."
Sarah - Jul 2022
"Lovely holiday, great location, we have been twice now, will go again sometime."
Peter - Jul 2022
"The only thing I would suggest is that the site could do with a little shop , it’s quite a walk ( downhill , up in way back ) to any kind of place you could get soft drink or snacks that doesn’t involve the prices in the restaurant bar Lovely relaxing location , gorgeous accommodation and helpful friendly staff My only negative was whilst I appreciate we were staying around the fishing lake and so there would be people around using this I would suggest those that pay to camp at the lake overnight are asked not to set themselves up directly outside occupied lodges My daughter and I had a man set up his tent about 10 meters from our front door and he was there for 24 hours , this made us uncomfortable to be out on the patio ( especially when using the hot tub ) and made me very security conscious overnight , there was plenty of other places around the lake he could have set up"
Louisa - Jul 2022
"Lovely, spacious lodge on a well kept, quiet site. Quality amenities especially very warm swimming pool. Professional, friendly staff. A great family holiday!"

Judith - Jul 2022
"The holiday was amazing, went there and stayed in the lakeside lodge for 3 nights. It was great, had someone checking the hot tub PH everyday, staff were really helpful and lovely to speak to. The bar/ restaurant was really good too, smaller than I expected but that was no issue at all. Really amazing place and lovely staff"
Josh - Jul 2022
"Brilliant place loved everything about it ."
Davina - Jul 2022
"We had a lovely 4 days, we got a text to say we could arrive early has the lodge was ready. The staff were very friendly and helpful anything you needed they were there in 5 minutes. Second visit will go again and stay longer next time."
Christine - Jul 2022
"Amazing stay. Will definitly go back again"
Brenna - Jul 2022
"Fantastic - just what we needed. Thank you"
Rebecca - Aug 2020

Rachael - Aug 2020
"Wonderful relaxing week in a luxurious and beautiful setting."
David - Aug 2020
"Excellent short stay in luxurious accommodation. Special touches, wine and milk in the fridge, coffee tea hot choc, bath robes etc really appreciated. Loved watching the ducks on the lake especially from the comfort of our hot tub"
Susan - Jul 2020
"Excellent! Beautiful location very central to coastal beaches"
Stephen - Jul 2020
"Excellent holiday. Only complaints were the beds were too soft. The mattresses may need replacing."
Sibel - Jul 2020
"Cabins amazing. Staff very helpful over telephone and friendly when delivering takeaways and observed social distancing and wore masks. Would love to go back in future to try activities once life returns to normal."
Mary - Jul 2020
"Staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. We was delighted when we got to our lodge, it was all the little touches that made it. The lodge was so well thought out and beautifully decorated. Hygiene was great, our hot tub was attended to without having to ask. Fishing was great and the lady with pink hair who sorted out the rod hire for us was very helpful and really friendly. We have recommended and intend to come back."
Jessica - Jul 2020
"Ive marked the comfort down one point just for the firm mattress which is actually a personal preference and some others may enjoy a firm mattress. It didnt cause us any issues as we were on a 3 night break but Im not sure I could have lasted longer.
Overall though this is an amazing place to stay. The cabins are like home from home with every comfort you need to stay away. The view is amazing. The locally sourced food was amazing and the staff couldnt do enough to help. There was even some phone calls to our home to make sure everything was ok with our stay.
There is no shop on site which again some people may not require and a shop in the village which is a 10 minute walk away.
I thoroughly enjoyed this break and cant wait to go back again."
Gillian - Jul 2020
"Had a great weekend at this lodge. The lodge was absolutely beautiful and clean. The hot tub was a great hit with the kids.

If there was one thing I could fault it would be the customer services. We arrived at the lodge and the barrier code was wrong, luckily the lady at the restaurant was very helpful and guided us to the lodge and gave us the barrier code as reception was closed and there was no one to ask.

Apart from that thats the only thing I could fault. We were a bit apprehensive staying in a lodge as we always go abroad, but this was fantastic, I would definitely book again.

Thank you all for a great stay, especially the restaurant staff."
Geeta - Jul 2020
"The lodge was lovely clean had everything you needed even a washer/ dryer, would highly recommend, my only point to make Would be that the decking around the lodges isnt fully enclosed, I understand they dont want to do this and we put the sun beds across each gap to keep the dog in but pet friendly should be fully enclosed"
Donna - Jul 2020
"Very nice, had everything we needed for a night away. Few scuffs and marks, but overall a nice appearance."
Steph - Mar 2020
"Amazing place, clean tidy, peaceful, scenic and very welcoming.... beautiful lodge and the fact you get a free bottle of wine and chocolates on the pillows and a cleaning pack.. just made our stay amazing "
Kelly - Mar 2020
"Would totally recommend a holiday to this place loved it"
Andrew - Mar 2020
"The lodge was perfect for us and felt like a little slice of luxury. The posh tap, which gave boiling water, caused us some issues, as its continual boiling during the night kept waking us. Apart from this, the accommodation was fantastic - well equipped and tastefully styled."
Sarah - Feb 2020
"Fantastic holiday. The lodge was furnished to a great standard. Brilliant size and very comfortable.
We had issues in the restaurant with poorly cooked food, but they did take it off the bill.
Farm was brilliant. Good pool but can imagine it would get very busy in summer. The local beaches were beautiful."
Laura - Feb 2020
"Excellant stay , my one concern would be as the mornings get lighter the blinds will not be sufficient to block out the light & this would be a problem for us as we require blackout blinds"
Diane - Feb 2020
"Just great. A really good find and would definately return."
Claire - Feb 2020
"Brilliant!! Simple as that"
Chris - Feb 2020
"Highly recommend. The staff here are friendly and helpful. The food at the terrace & lodge delivery was delicious. Beautiful place - 17 mins walk to the local beach. Lots do to on sight - perfect for all ages. Spa, pool , gym, fishing, golf, kids area, farm, restaurant, bar, Costa cafe.

Landal gwel mor - perfect for all ages! So peaceful and relaxing. We stayed in the luxury signature lodge with a hot tub. Couldnt recommend enough!

We shall be back x"
Rebecca - Jan 2020
"Whoever came up with the idea for this place totally 'nailed it'. Stunning views of the sea, wonderful staff, peace, spa, farm and wildlife, indoor play area. Recommend totally"
Phillip G - Jan 2020
"Only slight gripe about the accommodation, given it is classed as 5-star: A number of the bathroom robes provided had broken or missing belt loops."
Mark - Jan 2020
"A lovely area. A perfect spot to relax just the 2 of us. Would love to come again"
Clare - Jan 2020
"A bit pricey but spotlessly clean, and so modern. Comfiest beds ever."
Caitlin - Jan 2020
"Loved it, despite the weather, we will be back"
Steven - Dec 2019
"Great weekend get away, lodge was lovely and clean. The food at the restaurant was also lovely with a great atmosphere."
Corey - Dec 2019
"Lovely setting - booked last minute so price was excellent, full list price is high but worth it for the quality.

Good base to go across parts of Cornwall, log fire was great for keeping us all warm"
Clare - Dec 2019
"Lovely food and friendly staff"
Carrie - Dec 2019
"Amazing holiday will be back. Next time we will do a whole weekend."
