We honestly could find no fault. Very good.

We wanted somewhere special and as these lodges were part of the Autograph collection we decided to give them a go. We are so glad we did. I have never felt so chilled out. The lodge was beautiful and had a hot tub tucked away on the deck outside which was bliss. The local pub is easy to get to and reasonable for food and drinks. The curry was amazing.

Lovely relaxing stay with our dog at Wicket lodge. Well-equipped kitchen and the upstairs has a niced galleried area. Bed very comfortable. There were lovely walks along the canal towpath which was very close to our lodge (there are picnic tables close to the nearby bridge (down a few steps), and the garden was completely enclosed and secure for our dog, and maximum privacy for humans. The hot tub was very relaxing. You will need a car to explore the surrounding area or to go shopping or eating out. We stayed for 5 days but could have stayed a few more.

I jave already reviewed on trip advisor as it was a fantastic place with everything we needed inside the lodge and outside. The staff were helpful and friendly. The whole place was immaculately clean. Could not fault this and would recommend anyone to go. Outstanding break.

Lovely setting, remote enough and yet within drive of lovely villages. So great to have a hot tub to spend time with the family. Owner had provided every comfort in form of towels and extra tea-bags! Recommend going to the local pub along the canal for evening meal and hiring bikes for further exploring.
David
Excellent holiday in comfortable and well equipped cottage. Some road noise from heavy lorries passing close to cottag for much of day but not too much of a problem. Hot tub a bonus.
Louise

Lovely relaxing stay with our dog. There were lovely walks along the canal towpath which was very close to our lodge, and the garden was completely enclosed and secure for the dog. The hospitality tray was very welcome to tide us over with tea, coffee and biscuits but you would need to bring provisions with you as the nearest shop is some distance away by foot, although only about a 5 minute drive. The hot tub was very relaxing but you will need a car to explore the surrounding area or to go shopping or eating out (Sue the owner recommended the Culm Valley Inn, which is dog-friendly and also popular with the locals so advisable to book. We had some nice meals there). We stayed for 5 days but could have stayed a few more.
