Artro Lodges Reviews

"Couldn't possibly ask for anything more than what the artro lodges provide."
Natalie - Feb 2020
"Lovely place only thing wrong was the hot tub went cold after after a short time being in it the owner did check and said was set at 39 degrees it was very windy and rained most days so may have have played a part in temperature but still Ive been in hot tubs Im heavy snow Keldy and wasn't as cold as this one"
Neil - Jan 2020
"We had a wonderful time , will definitely be returning"
Lisa - Nov 2019
"Great lodge great location"
Stephen - Oct 2019
"We will definitely be returning in the near future."
Michelle - Sep 2019
"Great place to stay only complaints are the downstairs bed wasn't very comfortable with springs sticking out and a couple of chipped glassware so nothing major ."
Julie - Sep 2019
"Absolutely stunning lodge, extremely clean and comfortable. We had a brilliant weekend, thank you!"
Amy - Sep 2019
"A very nice lodge; home from home."
Mark - Jun 2019

Margaret - Jun 2019
"Spacious lodge which was spotless.

Easy to walk to the pub and shops.

Great location for exploring the surrounding area."
Karen - Jun 2019
"We loved our stay at Artro Lodges. Our Lodge was very comfortable, spacious and clean. We stayed with twin babies under 1, a 9 and 14 year old and the lodge accommodated to all age groups. The hot tub was a lovely feature enjoyed by all and we really felt at home whilst on holiday. Unfortunately the lodge was advertised as having Wi-Fi which it didn't so the girls were unable to connect to their tablets."
Hannah - Jun 2019
"We were a group of 4 ladies who stayed in lodge 21 for a long weekend . We went to the zip wire , cave trampoline centre and climbed Snowden during the weekend so it was centrally situated for our adventure and even near a gorgeous beach . We were lucky with the weather so other than evenings , we were out all day . The cabin looked lovely with 3 spacious bedrooms and plenty of bathrooms for all . A well equipped lodge with front room , kitchen and hot tub . We used the hot tub every evening - even in the shower of rain we had on the last day as it is under a cover . Our only gripe was the hot tub was meant to have 2 settings but we couldnt seem to get them bubbling as much as we would have liked - but we still enjoyed it . Plus some cooker instructions would be useful as we all have gas at home and kept setting a beep noise off . The cabin has all you need with washing machine , dishwasher , ironing board, clothes horse etc . There is a lovely friendly pub just opposite so great to walk for a meal or gin . Plus a little corner shop only few minutes away . All in all , a lovely cabin and a fab area to visit ."
Claire - Jun 2019
"Absolutely fantastic, Im going to take my family next year"
Ross - Feb 2019
"Loved it, cant wait to return!"
Gemma - Feb 2019
"Absolutely loved the lodge, very clean and well equipped. A couple of pubs close by serving good food and beer! Would recommend."
Lee - Nov 2017
"Really lovely lodge with modern and high quality furniture and fittings. Extremely spacious and very well set out. Cleanliness was excellent.

There was no 'welcome pack' with milk, coffee, tea etc (so make sure you take your own supply).

The hot tub was great and the upstairs bedroom balcony was a lovely feature. Overall it was a fab holiday and I would definitly go back and also recommend them to others."
Tracy - Oct 2017
"The lodge (No.20)was comfortable and lovely. It was in a quiet and serene area, yet the village was just with in walking distance. The lodge was spacious and having en-suites in all four bedrooms made it so good as we were two families. There was ample parking spaces. The supply of towels and kitchen equipment was good.

There was no information booklet which we find in most accommodations. We had to ask for it and what was given to us was not really useful. We could not use the phones to contact the owner to report some issues as there was no signal and we later found where they live so it was ok. She was very helpful when we reported about the front door lock as we could not lock the door. She knew about this as someone else had reported it. She locked the door for us with great difficulty and we did not use the door since as we had the back door and the door from the kitchen. However it should have been sorted out before our arrival.

The door handle to the en-suite in the main bedroom was broken and so was the toilet paper dispenser, the oven was dirty and we had to clean it, the freezer was full of ice as it was not defrosted before our arrival, the shower room in the twin bedroom opposite the double bedroom upstairs could not be used as the water kept coming out and once it leaked down the ceiling downstairs. Luckily we had enough bathrooms we could use."
Monica - Sep 2017
"Can't wait 2 come back"

Jayne - May 2017
"The lodge was beautiful, spacious and very clean.
The rooms had plenty of space to store clothes and all rooms were ensuite up stairs.
The only downside is only one bedroom has a tv the others have nothing in them but a bed, draws and clothes rail.
The hot tub was amazing with a built in radio. would definitely come again. It was very quiet and relaxing!"
Christopher - May 2017
