Belan Bach Lodges afford panoramic views over the Banwy Valley from their peaceful setting above the small village of Llangadfan. The lodges are beautifully appointed and have elevated balconies to make the most of the stunning scenery. We recommend these lodges to couples and families looking for a relaxing retreat.

The park has a tranquil, rural setting yet is not too isolated as a village pub and shop can be found within 2 miles. Further afield the Lake Vyrnwy with its RSPB centre and watersports is just 6 miles away. Popular attractions in the region include Welshpool, Powis Castle, King Arthur's Labyrinth and the renowned Centre for Alternative Technology with its unique water-powered railway. Families looking for seaside attractions should head to Barmouth and Aberdyfi which are both less than an hour away.

The Accommodation at Belan Bach is spacious and well equipped. There are five types of lodge to choose from, all with private outdoor hot tubs. The Banwy Lodge has two bedrooms as is a timber clad holiday home with leather sofa and outside patio with furniture. The Dyfnant Lodge is larger and sleeps up to 6 people in three bedrooms. Belan Bach Lodges Reviews

"Lovely relaxing break with family, lodge was clean and beds comfortable, however it is looking tired and in need of a refresh especially decking area"
James - Jul 2022
"Lodge was lovely, if a little small for 3 adults & 1 toddler. Has all essential things including towels. Beautiful views of countryside & animals. Hot tub not really secluded so it didn't get used."
Amanda - Jul 2022
"Celyn Lodge is dated and a little tired, it is not the lodge interior on the picture do if you are hoping for a fresh modern feel, you won't get it. Having said that, the stained pine interior gives it a rustic charm and feels cozy. The bed was comfortable, the Lodge well equipped, and clean. We had no issues with the Hot Tub. The outstanding feature is the peace and quiet, other lodges being at least 20ft apart and plenty of privacy with trees and hedging and the stunning view over the valley. If we are back in this area again, I would definitely return to Belen Bach Lodges again."
Nicola - Jun 2022
"Excellent, peaceful and tranquil. Perfectly located for a peaceful break away. Nice location for exploring in either direction for places such as the Elan Valley, Devil's bridge which is a nice drive and provides a nice out. Equally if you want to stay on site you have a nice setting and views to relax."
Martin - May 2022
"An amazing holiday in such a beautiful quiet place. We stayed in the Onnen lodge and would go back to this cabin."
Lindsay - May 2022
"Our 2nd visit and what a time we had! If you are into a 'bumping' social life this is NOT the place for you. Beautiful surroundings, peace and quite and lots of wild life. No matter what the temperature the hot tub was like a warm blanket, looking forward to the next visit."
Heather - May 2022
"great location lodge was very clean and tidy and well spaced out for 6 occupants, only downfall was having to check out by 9am could of done with it being a little later not easy getting kids up dressed and fed so early."
David - May 2022
"Not good rundown all around"
Andrew - May 2022
"the owners were great. The lodge was clean and homely. Hot tub was ready on arrival. If anything could have been better it would be the check in and out times. Perfect setting. Thank you."
Rachel - Apr 2022
"Great value. Beautiful scenery, hot tubs are great"
Margaret - Apr 2022
"We just had a wonderful stay. It’s a shame there aren’t more photos to see before you go because the lodge is awesome and the surroundings just stunning. It was spotlessly clean and so well equipped with what we needed especially in the kitchen. I highly recommend Belan Bach to anyone looking for peace and quiet, beautiful surroundings and easy travel to enough activities to keep you happy and entertained. Thank you for such a wonderful stay!"
Hannah - Apr 2022
"As well as faults already listed, there were some tablets left under armchair which had been swallowed by a child could have been fatal."
Colin - Apr 2022
"Again as before it was pretty amazing, the main door was a bit warped (can't be helped given its location) and some windows didn't close properly, which wasn't an issue as it was a pretty warm December but if it had been colder I think the lodge may have been a bit chilly even with the heating on."
Jenny - Jan 2022
"Wouldn't stay here again"
Rebecca - Dec 2021
"The lodge was a little dated inside and in need of a bit of TLC but overall the lodge was very comfy and spacious and had lovely surroundings, it did what we needed it to do. The hot tub facility was fab and we used it every day we had a really good experience overall and would visit again in the future."
Donna - Nov 2021
"Had a brilliant time would definitely book again in the near future"
Wes - Aug 2020
"The perfect family holiday!"
Harriet - Aug 2020
"Fabulous holiday. Great secluded location and the views are amazing. Perfect relaxing break!"
Sophie - Jul 2020
"Great stay with beautiful views"
Elly - Mar 2020
"Brilliant break with the family
Definitely recommend and will definitely be returning :)"
Ashley - Feb 2020
"We were welcomed by the owner and found the cabin to be exactly as described - great value for money, beautiful scenery and a lovely little hidden gem - just would like to revisit when the weather is kinder!"
Ali - Feb 2020
"Great looking forward to going again"
Sarah - Jan 2020
"You could literally happily live in this cabin. Amazing. Fully functional kitchen which is better than my one at home (it has a dishwasher). Gas fire and central heating. Under floor heating in bathroom is just amazing. Specially after getting in the hot tub and running in to get dry"
Megan - Jan 2020
"We loved every minute of it"
Lynette - Jan 2020
"Quite relaxing weekend in the country"
Andrew - Dec 2019
"Just a genuine nice place, you can have a relaxing holiday and wander about or be a bit more active and really explore whats around the local area, best of both worlds."
Joanne - Nov 2019
"We had a lovely relaxing few days at Belan Bach Lodges, cant wait to go back again."
Chris - Nov 2019
"Will go again, great place."
Christopher - Oct 2019
"Fantastic place to stay. Definitely recommend and hope to be back.
Thank u"
Tracey - Sep 2019
"Great location on a small park with only about 6 lodges, each one secluded away. But each one has a great view to the south so sunny aspect as well. The hot tub was a major feature for us and was excellent.
Cleanliness score reduced because bedroom wall was particularly dusty - showed up particularly when bedside lamps were on. Just needs to see a feather duster more regularly.
The kitchen area was clean but the tea towel rail was not secure, and no dishcloth or teatowel was supplied. Didn't spoil our stay and both would be easy to fix.
To his credit, the owner replaced the outside light bulb straight away when we mentioned it was not working - useful when in the hot tub after dark!"
Jack - Sep 2019
"We had a beautiful little family break, such a beautiful, peaceful place. Totally relaxed and happy here, very cosy and accommodating. The hot tub was the best thing the kids loved it. I would definitely book to stay in onnen Lodge again."
Carly - Sep 2019
"Could not fault the lodges as a whole. Few little things that could have been upgraded but did not impact in our stay at all."
Kim - Aug 2019
"Really good holiday, good days out, nice view"
Antony - Aug 2019
"Thoroughly enjoyed the scenic views in the area."
Peter - Jun 2019
"Nice peaceful location with superb views. Road to the lodges is quite rough so you need to take care of the potholes when arriving and leaving the site.
Good places to Visit:
The Cann Office Hotel
Port Merion
Aberystwyth and Barmouth
Slate Mine at Bleineau Ffestiniog"
Kevin - Jun 2019
"Tidy lodge starting to look a bit weathered but comfortable."
