We had a really nice weekend here with our 2 toddlers aged 18 mths and 3. the site was really peaceful and seemed deserted at times. We had a Sandybrook Riber lodge and the staff very kindly gave us a travel cot for our youngest and a highchair to use in the lodge. The lodge was cosy and really clean with a good size kitchen. We spend most of our time just chilling out in the lodge and walking around the site but we also used the indoor pool which was nice and warm and the little ones loved it. We would recommend these lodges to couples and families with young children. Not much for teenagers to do though i don't think.
Stayed at Sandybrook for 3 nights at new Year. We had a fantastic time and will definitely book again. Lodges excellent, facilities first class, staff very friendly. A great holiday.
Fantastic short break with my son and his family. So peaceful. So many different birds even heard an owl. children loved the squirrels.Hottub lovely and warm and relaxing. Lodge very clean. Food in restaurant excellent and a gluten free menu.Staff very friendly.Would visit again. If you want a stress free holiday this is it.
5 star ! Loved it , booked again ! 6 of us put £25 a month away for 6 months - pays for the weekend all the food and drink and meals out - = happy relaxed mummies, wives - win win x
Lodge was perfect and everything we needed was available. We went on holiday with our toddler and lodge was safe and enclosed on decking. Lovely and cosy at night. Hot tub was fabulous and checked daily by staff.

We keep coming back, this is twice this year so we love it.
Excellent park with very friendly staff.
Lovely lodge, well equipped. Spa bath was amazing! My little boy who is 16 months old loved the indoor play area.
Was a lovely break away from the madness of work.
Staff were friendly and helpful on arrival, as we arrive just under an hour early. Lovely on checkout too... even gave some complimentary mints for the long drive home.
To anyone contemplating the hot tub, DO IT! Was amazing to be in a quite environment, under the trees, soaking in the tub.
Only thing I'd say let's this place down, is how far away it is from everything. However, it wouldn't have been the same if it was in the centre of a town. Would definitely recommend Peak Wildlife Park too...for all ages!
Wonderful experience, and will be returning in the foreseeable future.
Aran was great with archery
Our third stay in 12 months so needless to say, we love it. Nice to wind down from our working lives in a relaxing and picturesque environment.

Very good location. Excellent accommodation and friendly staff.
Of course you can't mention attractions in Staffordshire without featuring the fabulous Alton Towers theme park. The rides range from thrilling to quite simply terrifying although there are more gentle family rides for the little ones. All ages are catered for here. Some of the most famoue rides include Th13teen, Air, The Blade and Nemesis. There is also a waterpark on site for some splashtastic fun. Look out for seasonal events taking place throughout the year such as Wonderful Winter, Pirate Weekend and The Ultimate Fireworks Event. Check out their website for the latest admission costs and save money by booking your tickets online.
This is a top class theme park with plenty to do for the whole family. From thrilling rides to more gentle activities for the little ones this place is ideal. The best thing is that 50% of their attractions are under cover so the British weather needn't spoil the fun.
This unique attraction combines an array of activities. If you have a look on their website there are some good video clips which give an even better idea of what this attraction is all about. Some of the highlights include the Cable Car system which is actually Britain's first alpine style cable car system. You are transported from the valley floor right up above where you can enjoy superb Dewent Valley Views. You can also stroll around 60 acres of wooded hillside on foot to see an array of birds and wildlife.
Gulliver's Kingdome is a family friendly theme park offering many attractions for children of all ages. The site is rather unique and features a huge array of rides including log flumes, roller coasters and pirate ships. For the little ones there are rides such as the veteran cars and the balloon wheel and Diego and Dora the Explorer are on hand to make sure they are having a great time. Between the 21st and 31st of October the park becomes a spooky Halloween spectacular with a range of shows and fireworks to enjoy. Standard prices are £12.00 for adults and children over 90cm. Group booking discounts are available.
