We had a really nice weekend here with our 2 toddlers aged 18 mths and 3. the site was really peaceful and seemed deserted at times. We had a Sandybrook Riber lodge and the staff very kindly gave us a travel cot for our youngest and a highchair to use in the lodge. The lodge was cosy and really clean with a good size kitchen. We spend most of our time just chilling out in the lodge and walking around the site but we also used the indoor pool which was nice and warm and the little ones loved it. We would recommend these lodges to couples and families with young children. Not much for teenagers to do though i don't think.
Stayed at Sandybrook for 3 nights at new Year. We had a fantastic time and will definitely book again. Lodges excellent, facilities first class, staff very friendly. A great holiday.
Fantastic short break with my son and his family. So peaceful. So many different birds even heard an owl. children loved the squirrels.Hottub lovely and warm and relaxing. Lodge very clean. Food in restaurant excellent and a gluten free menu.Staff very friendly.Would visit again. If you want a stress free holiday this is it.

Excellent way to relax after busy day out.
Everything was lovely booked for next year
Surprised to find how clean and comfortable lodge was and provided all essential items.

Sofa was worn out and lumpy.

Very clean and comfy.
Lovely and clean lodge! Very modern inside and lots of kitchen utensils/china/ glasswear
We used the park as a base to visit the nearby heritage railways. They were all easy to get to travelling through beautiful countryside and pleasant towns and villages. The country roads are twisty and narrow in places but the local drivers are pleasant and accomodating. The peaks and dales af Derbyshire are very close and well worth a visit.
Really enjoyed it
Safe very helpful and present. Restaurant was hit and miss
Very nuce lodges and swimming pool jacuzzi sauna very clean and staff was very helpful with tourist information and various trips to venture out. good facilties in the lodge and small forest on site to walk dogs.
A family of seven 6 adults and 1 child enjoyed a long weekend together
This was an excellent base to explore the many leisure facilities in the surrounding area.First class accommodation in gorgeous settings.
Our second visit and so worth the return, The cabin was clean comfy, well equipped and warm when needed from the fire in the lounge area. Can not fault anything on site . The restaurant is a lot better than the first visit and the steaks were great. The facilities have also come a long way from crazy golf and swimming. We could also book archery, zorb balling and a few other things . The peak district is beautiful and we went to ,Matlock spa ,Bakewell Buxton and quite a few of the smaller places. Indeed a really good time was had . The weather could have been better but being in England we expected it to rain . ( just not every day ) Thanks goes to all the staff at Hoseasons .
Lovely little Park! Would definitely stay here again! So lovely and peaceful and not too far from towns.
Sandybrook was a great place to stay! So clean tidy and very pretty! The squirrels and rabbits roaming around added to it.
The cabins were very well stocked and had everything you needed down to washing up liquid and toilet roll, comfortable beds and additional blankets in the wardrobes!
The outdoor area was private and so getting in and out of the hot tub was comfortable!
Great break, highly recommended to anyone.
This park is in a beautiful location just outside Ashbourne. The reception staff were very helpful and ready to help if needed. The lodges are well spaced so privacy is no issue. Our lodge was very well equipped with fridge and freezer as well other usual kitchen equipment. It had two roomy bedrooms, 1 a double the other a twin. The bathroom has an over bath shower. The lounge/diner was spacious a dvd player too. Our lodge had a hot tub which was most welcome. It was on the decking/veranda and although in the open was not really too overlooked. The park is on a hillside and there is individual parking spaces for each lodge. The on site restaurant was very pleasant with a good menu and the food was well cooked. There is a childrens play area and a nice swimming pool. Wee worth a visit!
An outstanding park within easy access of some of the most beautiful scenery in the country.
Lovely weekend this was our 3rd visit
It's a lovely park
Of course you can't mention attractions in Staffordshire without featuring the fabulous Alton Towers theme park. The rides range from thrilling to quite simply terrifying although there are more gentle family rides for the little ones. All ages are catered for here. Some of the most famoue rides include Th13teen, Air, The Blade and Nemesis. There is also a waterpark on site for some splashtastic fun. Look out for seasonal events taking place throughout the year such as Wonderful Winter, Pirate Weekend and The Ultimate Fireworks Event. Check out their website for the latest admission costs and save money by booking your tickets online.
This is a top class theme park with plenty to do for the whole family. From thrilling rides to more gentle activities for the little ones this place is ideal. The best thing is that 50% of their attractions are under cover so the British weather needn't spoil the fun.
This unique attraction combines an array of activities. If you have a look on their website there are some good video clips which give an even better idea of what this attraction is all about. Some of the highlights include the Cable Car system which is actually Britain's first alpine style cable car system. You are transported from the valley floor right up above where you can enjoy superb Dewent Valley Views. You can also stroll around 60 acres of wooded hillside on foot to see an array of birds and wildlife.
Gulliver's Kingdome is a family friendly theme park offering many attractions for children of all ages. The site is rather unique and features a huge array of rides including log flumes, roller coasters and pirate ships. For the little ones there are rides such as the veteran cars and the balloon wheel and Diego and Dora the Explorer are on hand to make sure they are having a great time. Between the 21st and 31st of October the park becomes a spooky Halloween spectacular with a range of shows and fireworks to enjoy. Standard prices are £12.00 for adults and children over 90cm. Group booking discounts are available.
