Overall a fab break away
We had an amazing weekend staying in the Chestnut Cabin. Our 2 year old dog loved exploring the woods & we also had 2 trips to Sherwood Forest which is only an 8 minute drive away. Well definitely be returning to Redbrick Woodland Lodges! Perfect location, perfect size!
We had a lovely relaxing weekend
This is a traditional style lodge which we really liked and was very clean and well maitained. We had no issues while we were staying. The lodge was lovely and warm and the bathrooms were very good with plenty of hot water.
Perfect! Highly recommend for quality couple time
Would 100% suggest to anyone wanting a peaceful weekend to go to one of these Lodges , we had the Lakeview which is right at the bottom on its own so very private, the Hot Tub is great we had plenty of use out of it .
Fabulous place to meet with friends
We will be back....enough said.
Good place and service!
I have stayed in many lodges but this one was extra special. The master bedroom was amazing, the kitchen had everything we needed and the hot tub was bliss. Perfect weekend with family & friends.
Had another fab break here with the family x
Amazing long weekend thankyou
They were very accommodating and friendly staff.
We stayed in the Sherwood Lodge and it was lovely. Great, quiet surroundings and the lodge was clean & spacious. Would have been ideal to have had a washing machine for our week stay. Plenty of towels & beds made on arrival. Kids loved hot tub.
Wonderful location. So peaceful. Sherwood Forest on the doorstep. Far greater value than other lodge locations nearby. As a get away from it all self catering lodge it’s perfect. Booked again for next year which will be our third year in a row.
Had the most relaxing and chilled break staying in the moshannon lodge. This is a spacious well equipped traditional style lodge. Was clean and well maintained. Check in was very easy with a lovely friendly receptionist who explained everything very clearly and gave us plenty of information.
This lodge suited our needs perfectly with free WiFi and a hot tub for the teenagers and enclosed porch and plenty of forest walks for the dogs. The surroundings were lovely and peaceful and we didn't notice other guests in the other lodges as it was very private. The hot tub was a brilliant bonus and we loved it so much here that we have booked again for next year!
Had a lovely stay in the chestnut lodge. Lodge was lovely size for 2 adult, clean and hot tub was fab. The restaurant on site serves fantastic food and prices were reasonable. Didn't need to travel out to other pubs/restaurants. Would definatly return here.

The toddler time sessions take place during term times on week days from 9.30am until 2.30pm and are very popular. The admission fee is excellent value for money and parents can sit down and enjoy a drink while the children play. A new baby changing facility has now been installed together with some new chairs making this a clean and welcoming attraction for families. Look out for offers on their website such as a free hot drink on select days.
This is a top class theme park with plenty to do for the whole family. From thrilling rides to more gentle activities for the little ones this place is ideal. The best thing is that 50% of their attractions are under cover so the British weather needn't spoil the fun.
This unique attraction combines an array of activities. If you have a look on their website there are some good video clips which give an even better idea of what this attraction is all about. Some of the highlights include the Cable Car system which is actually Britain's first alpine style cable car system. You are transported from the valley floor right up above where you can enjoy superb Dewent Valley Views. You can also stroll around 60 acres of wooded hillside on foot to see an array of birds and wildlife.
