These luxury lodges in the Nottinghamshire area have an amazing location in the biggest area of woodland in Sherwood Forest. With the most stunning forest views and an abundance of cycle trails and walks, these lodges will really appeal to lovers of nature and outdoor activities. Some popular activities on site include mountain biking and hire and ranger led walks which are available at extra cost.
The play areas within the forest will keep the children entertained and of course there is plenty of outdoor space to play and run off some energy. The whole family can enjoy the walks and cycle trails as well as the local market towns which are ideal for days out.
There is a good selection of accommodation on offer to suite different styles and budgets. The Golden Oak lodges are the most luxurious of all with bath robes and luxury toileteries as an added bonus. The Golden Oak 2 sleeps 4 adults with a master double bedroom and one twin bedroom. There is also a log burning stove and plenty of mod cons to make your stay a comfortable one. The Golden Oak 3 is a very similar lodge but sleeps 6 with one master double bedroom and two twin rooms. Both of the Golden Oak lodges come with private outdoor hot tubs.
We also love the Silver Birch lodges which provide a luxury base for your lodge holiday. The Silver Birch 2 is ideal for romantic breaks and special occasions and comes with a private outdoor hot tub. The Silver Birch 3 is slightly larger and sleeps 6, also with an outdoor hot tub.
The Copper Beech 2 lodge is excellent value for money and sleeps 4. This is a spacious lodges with one double and one twin bedroom. All of the lodges are equipped with a flatscreen TV, entertainment system and dishwasher as standard.
Sherwood Forest Lodges are ideally located for days out and we recommend Sherwood Forest Fun Park less than 3 miles from the lodges as well as Wheelgate Adventure Park around 4 miles away. Crich Tramway Village in Matlock is also well worth a visit.

Amazing... just what we needed
Fantastic time had by all. I think it will become an annual weekend away in a fantastic location.
Great holiday. Quite expensive for a weekend however we went in August so expected
Fab holiday have recommended to people great for family holidays and couples holidays will be returning
Janice, Co Durham
The lodge surpassed expectations it was very roomy and pleasant to be in. The outdoor space still provided good privacy and the hot tub was very good.
Cut myself on glass left next to hot tub but otherwise best holiday ever!
Definitely do it again
Well appointed accommodation, very comfortable, firm but comfy bed.
Sofa could have been bigger
Great from start to finish - would be better if bar opened a little longer in evening but otherwise perfect.
Amazing lodge in an amazing location
We stayed in silver birch lodge. It's was beautiful inside. Spacious and very comfortable. The hot tub was lovely and hot. I would definitely recommend this holiday. It was perfect just what you need to relax and take in the beautiful natural surroundings
Was a lovely much needed holiday though quite expensive.Bringing the dog with us was a bonus and he was well catered for too,my only grumble was that we ordered food to be delivered to the cabin on our first night and it never arrived,at around nine o'clock I walked to reception and luckily caught a member of staff who prepared it there and then .
Absolutely fantastic long weekend away. We stayed in a Golden Oak Cabin which was stunning. Everything was supplied for you tea towel, bath towels, hot tub towels, washing up liquid, toilet roll, soaps etc. The hot tub was brilliant. The layout of the cabin was good. Only downside was the oven taking forever to cook anything. We had a roast dinner & it took 5 hours to cook! Other than that brilliant! We enjoyed the outdoor area with the table & chairs, with the added extra of a gas BBQ which we didn't expect.
We only stayed over the Bank holiday and had a great time. The only comment i would make is that the cleaning staff need to do better. My son dropped a piece of lego behind a sofa cushion and when we moved them it was nasty. Crumbs and 3 socks from precious guests, now i know all about the sock monster as i have a 3 year old. but when i am paying nearly 1k for a weekend i would expect better.
Other than this, would definitely stay again.
Lodges are fab. Loved hot tub. Lovely tranquil surroundings but not much to do for age range of our children.
Fab time kids loved every minute didn't want to leave already booked return trip (This is 3rd visit) always lovely clean cabins cheerful helpful staff will be returning for many years to come
Love it would so go back
Lovely place and setting would definately go back if the price was right
This is an all weather attraction located in Ilkeston Derbyshire. With a large play frame as well as bikes and ride on toys this is a fun place for young children. The toddler time sessions take place during term times on week days from 9.30am until 2.30pm and are very popular. The admission fee is excellent value for money and parents can sit down and enjoy a drink while the children play. A new baby changing facility has now been installed together with some new chairs making this a clean and welcoming attraction for families. Look out for offers on their website such as a free hot drink on select days.

This is a top class theme park with plenty to do for the whole family. From thrilling rides to more gentle activities for the little ones this place is ideal. The best thing is that 50% of their attractions are under cover so the British weather needn't spoil the fun.
This unique attraction combines an array of activities. If you have a look on their website there are some good video clips which give an even better idea of what this attraction is all about. Some of the highlights include the Cable Car system which is actually Britain's first alpine style cable car system. You are transported from the valley floor right up above where you can enjoy superb Dewent Valley Views. You can also stroll around 60 acres of wooded hillside on foot to see an array of birds and wildlife.
