Lodges are lovely, just a bit dark inside due to the trees. Would be great if there was a little club house or pub on site.

A fabulous relaxing holiday would have liked an outdoor grass area for to sit out in the sunshine with the dog rather than just the shaded decking. Lovely cabin, fabulous hot tub.

The hot tub in this lodge was very well maintained and in a private position looking out onto woods. The lodge was well equipped and comfortable although a little tired. It was clean were it needed to be but door frames, radiators and bed frames needed dusting. The young adults were unhappy with the lack of a mobile signal in the lodge and the fact that you needed pay for the internet which, as it turned out, we were unable access anyway. Home page simple did not load an any of your devised.

Great 4 days in squirrel lodge - loved having hot tub after long days in Alton Towers; great novelty for the kids! Very quiet site with loads of walks in the woodland and well stocked on-site shop. No phone or internet signal unless you go to top of site but that's part of the appeal! Very handy for local attractions and only 10min from a Morrison's and Asda. Can't wait to come back 😀

Quarry Walk Lodges proved to be a great location for our holiday. The area where the Lodges are located is beautiful with lovely walks available through the forest.
Margaret
We had a lovely time. The cabins were well secluded from each other and it was very peaceful. The only downside was the potholes in the roads of the site.
Colleen
Absolutely beautiful log cabins with everything you could possibly need, staff are friendly and very helpful, my hubby and I have been there twice for long weekend's and didn't want to leave, it's very peaceful and ideal if you want that quiet get away, hot tub was fantastic and checked daily, town and shops were a few miles away but it was a lovely drive out, overall I would recommend it, will be booking again soon.
David
Amazing place words can not justify the place. It was fantastic relaxing your phone has no signal so you are cut off from the rest of the world I will be returning many times
Laura
Fantastic place to stay. The lodge his to a very high standard to cleanliness and it has everything in you could want. This is my first visit as I have previously stayed in another lodge and I would continue to visit for a nice relaxed break away.
Hannah
Lovely lodge

Loved it. Our only disappointment was that the sofa wasn't big enough to lounge on, I had to bring a chair over to it to put my legs up. Loved our day times and the hot tub. ❤️
Paula
Loves our holiday hear all I would say is the to can be abit temperamental but I think that is to be expected due to the location

Fun Days Out near Quarry Walk Lodges

Alton Towers - about 3 Miles
Of course you can't mention attractions in Staffordshire without featuring the fabulous Alton Towers theme park.  The rides range from thrilling to quite simply terrifying although there are more gentle family rides for the little ones.  All ages are catered for here.  Some of the most famoue rides include Th13teen, Air, The Blade and Nemesis.  There is also a waterpark on site for some splashtastic fun. Look out for seasonal events taking place throughout the year such as Wonderful Winter, Pirate Weekend and The Ultimate Fireworks Event.  Check out their website for the latest admission costs and save money by booking your tickets online.
This is a really unique opportunity to see the fantastic work going on at this centre.  The purpose of the British Wildlife Rescue Centre is to treat and care for injured wildlife which cannot be released into the wild.  Many of the animals are brought to the centre by members of the public or the RSPCA.  Visit their website to see the picture gallery and to find out how to help if this is something which interests you.  There are also regular fundraising events such as the Sponsered Leg Wax.
Highfields Happy Hens - about 16 Miles
This unique farm makes a great day out for families with young children and also couples who enjoy getting out and exploring.  With an array of farm animals including goats, pigs and sheep this farm is a popular attraction in the Etwall area of Derbyshire.  Apart from the animals there are fun activities to take part in such as collecting and grading your own eggs and a hay play area for the little ones. The farm tea room serves drinks, cakes and light bites, the place to go when you are in need of a rest and a hot drink.
Gullivers Kingdom - about 19 Miles
This is a top class theme park with plenty to do for the whole family.  From thrilling rides to more gentle activities for the little ones this place is ideal.  The best thing is that 50% of their attractions are under cover so the British weather needn't spoil the fun.
