Calthwaite Hall Lodges are the ideal choice if you're looking for a stylish and tranquil escape in the Cumbria region.  Part of the hand picked Autograph Lodge Holidays Collection you can be sure of an immaculate lodge in a gorgeous location.

The location itself is quite unique being nestled in the grounds of the stunning Calthwaite Hall which dates back to 1837.  The surrounding lawns and paddocks are home to adorable miniature Falabella ponies.   It's been described as a "a perfect luxurious secret escape" and we couldn't agree more.

The lodges themselves are befitting of the setting with sleek and high spec interiors and of course private hot tubs complete the picture. Choose from 2 and 3 bedroom lodges with Flatscreen TV and freeview, well equipped kitchen with dishwasher and WIFI in each lodge.  You'll also receive a complimentary welcome pack.

The Calthwaite 4 Lodge is one of our favourites with a stunning modern interior, outdoor decking with great quality garden furniture and an outdoor hot tub with views over the countryside.

You can walk to the local pub in Calthwaite Village for a relaxing drink or head out to explore the local Sandstone villages and quaint market towns.

Fabulous holiday. We stayed 7 nights and even that went too quickly. The winter is perfect for the hot tub outside. We hope to be back in the summer as well.
The Globe Inn is the best local pub with lovely food. Thanks to Tony and all the staff for being as helpful as always.

The Carriage house is modern with lots of space, located in a lovely gated area. The location is in-between the Lakes and Scotland so there's lots to do and places to visit. After a busy day you can relax in the outside hot tub which we took full advantage of.

You must try the food at the Globe inn it is amazing and very reasonable.

We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back again.

This place was perfect, the lodge was spotless and done in the best up to date decor very roomy for us four ladies, and and the hot tub was a real delight & cared for every day by the owner, the Globe pub opposite had the most delicious home made food, and the staff were lovely and nothing was too much trouble. We will be booking again in the future there is nothing to not to like about this place.

A lovely clean spacious lodge. The perfect place to spend a quiet Christmas with family. The hot tub was fabulous and a real luxury! Staff we’re really friendly and helpful. My only criticism is the floors were a bit cold but given the outside temperature, it wasn’t really surprising.
Sarah
Highly recommended!! The lodge is beautiful, cleaned to a very high standard and stocked with everything you need. The staff are superb, very friendly and helpful. The hot tub is amazing! If you are looking for a relaxing break with plenty of fresh air, wildlife and great local company then this is the place to go. The local pub is a great place to have some lovely food and meet new people. We have booked again for Christmas and can't wait! Truly wonderful, a little piece of paradise.

OMG what can I say this is now our 5th stay this year and just gets better it's like being at home. We have stayed in both the lodges and the carrage house both are luxurious and spacious. The surroundings are very well maintained and has magnificent views. Location is spot on and central 30 mins in to the lakes and 10 mins to pooley bridge or Penrith where locals are very welcoming and has a great range of traditional shops. THE GLOBAL INN is a stone's throw away and a part of the halls umberella which serves great homely food and a great selection of beer wines and spirits. And last the HOT TUB wow great to soak in the surroundings after a long day of doing nothing. The owner Tony a his staff and Kelly do an amazing job to make your stay memorable please keep up the great work an will see you soon the park family
Julie
