Calthwaite Hall Lodges are the ideal choice if you're looking for a stylish and tranquil escape in the Cumbria region.  Part of the hand picked Autograph Lodge Holidays Collection you can be sure of an immaculate lodge in a gorgeous location.

The location itself is quite unique being nestled in the grounds of the stunning Calthwaite Hall which dates back to 1837.  The surrounding lawns and paddocks are home to adorable miniature Falabella ponies.   It's been described as a "a perfect luxurious secret escape" and we couldn't agree more.

The lodges themselves are befitting of the setting with sleek and high spec interiors and of course private hot tubs complete the picture. Choose from 2 and 3 bedroom lodges with Flatscreen TV and freeview, well equipped kitchen with dishwasher and WIFI in each lodge.  You'll also receive a complimentary welcome pack.

The Calthwaite 4 Lodge is one of our favourites with a stunning modern interior, outdoor decking with great quality garden furniture and an outdoor hot tub with views over the countryside.

You can walk to the local pub in Calthwaite Village for a relaxing drink or head out to explore the local Sandstone villages and quaint market towns.

Home from home with added benefits - we made good use of the hot tub. We took bikes for cycling trips in the area. Then with short drives went down to the Lakes and up to Carlisle, Hadrian's Wall and Scotland.

Brilliant relaxing break... the hot tub was amazing. Across the road from the entrance is the Globe Inn, excellent food & reasonable drink prices.

The lodge was lovely. Couldn't fault it. We did have a leak beneath the sink because the lodge was new probably. We had to put a towel to absorb the water by the sink. Told the owner, but no one attended to it. Thats our only criticism. The Owner was very friendly/helpul otherwise.
Lynda
Great lodges in a beautiful quiet location...the staff were very helpful and very friendly.

Spent a week here from 12th to 19th June, lodge was fab so modern and clean only negative was flies due to being so near the horses which we loved to watch on the decking along with the peacocks and other animals.if you're considering going here just book it its well truly amazing best part was being allowed to take dog with us .
Joann
Fab little park, lodge beautiful, modern and so clean, would definitely recommend
Leanne
Great lodge if a little small. Location is lovely but had to drive a fair bit to get to the places we wanted. The addition of the pub at the end of the road is fabulous. We are there 2 nights out of 4 and did takeaway from there on the 3rd night!
Michelle
Just needed relaxation and that's exactly what we got! Lovely surroundings!
Mary
Quiet location which suited us perfectly. Friendly pub just across the road from the lodges. Calthwaite Hall can be booked for functions & accommodation in lodges booked simultaneously.
Alison
Fantastic location, fantastic lodge, few hot tub issues but overall a great little break.
Adele
Had a lovely stay at Calthwaite hall lodges with our dog. Tony and Kerry were fantastic, they ensured everything was just right for us. The lodfe was stunning and immaculately clean. Lovely quiet village with terrific village pub within a short stroll. Loved the location of our lodge overlooking the fields with ponies, turkeys, beautifull peacocks, roosters. Just fantastic.
Debbie
