Close to the Lake District National Park and just a short walk from the village of Aspatria, these stylish lodges have stunning views across the Northern Fells and the Scottish Hills. They overlook a pretty woodland lake, surrounded by beautiful Cumbrian countryside and there's a pub and a restaurant within walking distance.

With fishing, golf, bike hire and some wonderful walks through secluded woodland right on the doorstep, the park is within easy travelling distance of Carlisle. For some delicious food in an AA-recognised restaurant, head to Overwater Hall a few miles away in Cumbria - but remember to book first!

If you're looking for the ultimate in luxury, these lodges have hot tubs and wood burning stoves, as well as gorgeous interior design features like roof lighting and Shaker-style kitchens. Lawson lodge sleeps four people and has a flat screen TV with Freeview and DVD, as well as a private patio with hot tub.

The Lake District has beautiful countryside, stunning clifftop walks and long sandy beaches as well as some delightful villages like the market town of Keswick - and Kippford, a popular sailing centre.

Our Top Tip
"Visit Carlisle Castle, where Mary Queen of Scots was imprisoned - and take your pick of the many pubs and restaurants locally."

This is the best lodge we have rented. It was modern, spacious with the living space on an open plan layout, very well equipped and spotlessly clean. Bathrooms were excellent too with large walk in showers in both. The private hot tub was fantastic and checked by staff every day.

Amazing lodge, complete with everything you could need and perfectly laid out. Clearly a lot of time and thought has gone into the lodges and everything is top spec and decor is beautiful. Jacuzzi is amazing, as is the log burner.

Lovely place to stay and beautiful luxurious lodges with all needs catered for. Only minor point was that the beds weren't overly comfy which I appreciate is often down to personal choice anyway. Would highly recommend.

Me and the Mrs stayed there for 3 nights and couldn't complain about anything!
The staff were very friendly and helpful on arrival. The Lodge was spotless and felt like home from home.
The hot tub was cleaned everyday and was always above 38 degrees which was perfect.
We went out through the day doing activities such as go ape and go karting which is withing a 30 minute drive.
We didn't really bother traveling out to any restaurants at night, we just ordered Sams takeaway which they delivered to our lodge! Would definitely advise ordering food from here if you fancy a takeaway, food was great and came very quickly. (All information is in a brochure provided in the lodge)
I have recommended this lodge to multiple family members and friends already.
Well worth the money - we will be coming back next year

Fabulous accommodation, we stayed in wellington and were delighted with how contemporary, well thought out, and clean it was. It felt very private and was so tranquil in beautiful surroundings. Our first experience with our own hot tub which was lovely to come back too after a day exploring. A warm welcome awaits you here, nothing is too much trouble.

10 does not cover it I would give the place 20. It was our second time there everything was spot on for a chillout weekend..
Julie
The lodge was the best we have stayed in. It was immaculate and had everything you needed. The welcome pack was a lovely surprise, bread, milk etc. The hot tub was clean and came off the bathrooms so meant you weren’t getting the lodge wet. The staff were so helpful and the food at the lakeside bar was excellent. Could not fault anything. Will definitely be returning.

Fun Days Out near North Lakes Lodges

We love this day out in Cumbria where you're encouraged to "take a fresh look".  Some of the amazing animals you will get to see include the only Canadian Lynx in the UK and you will have the opportunity to help their Lynx Conservation Project.  The Asian Fishing Cat is also well worth a look - these cats are known for diving under the water and catching fish!  Other activities include fantastic flying displays and play areas for the little ones...
This is a museum and art gallery in one and will suit those looking for an educational and cultural day out.  You can explore the fantastic art collection including Fine Art, Decorative Art and Textiles.  If you love nature then this aspect of Tullie House will appeal. The museum holds large and important collections of zoological, botanical and geological material. And for lovers of history there is plenty to wet your appetite here. Tullie House collects a wide range of historic materials including objects, ephemera (printed material), photographs and associated information files.  We think this museum and art gallery are excellent value for money as well.
Ullswater Steamers - about 21 Miles
This is an award winning Lake District attraction and they have been operating cruisers on Lake Ullswater for over 150 years.  There is no better way to explore the lakes than on water and you could even combine a cruise with a spectacular walk.  For great days out in this region then this attraction is highly recommended and will appeal to couples as well as families.  Corporate groups are also well catered for.
Mabie Farm Park - about 22 Miles
Mabie Farm Park is a firm favourite. Ideal for families with younger children ,this family oriented farm park has lots of animals to meet and also offers Donkey Rides, Paddle Boats and Slides as well as Trampolines and Bouncy Castles. Kids can run around on the Soft Play Area while mum and dad relax in the Tea Room. There is also a Farm Shop onsite selling toys, gifts and fresh local produce including cakes and jams. Seasonal activities can also be enjoyed including a spookly tea and walk on Haloween. The Farm closes for the winter on October 31st.
