Landal Kielder Waterside Reviews

"Enjoyed our stay here. Plenty for the kids to do"
Mark - Aug 2022
"Amazing retreat! Lovely touch leaving bottle of Prosecco in Lodge and staff checking in to ensure we were happy with everything. Majority of staff were really lovely especially in restaurant. However staff not so much in reception/ shop ."
Sharon - Jul 2022
"We had a family break and all of us enjoyed a lot. There were many activities to fill the day up with kids and when we came back in the evening, just loved using the hot tub. The location is beautiful and you can rent bikes to go around the lakes. Family swim and sauna was great as well."
Pankaj - Jul 2022
"Outstanding, the lodge was second to none, very clean, everything you needed for a 5 day stay, the scenery was beautiful, you have to visit to appreciate it, the staff are very helpful, nothing is to much trouble, any issues are dealt with very quickly, would deafeningly visit again 10 out of 10"
Verified Guest - Jul 2022
"My daughter and I had a Monday to Friday stay in a lodge with hot tub. We had the best, most relaxing time. The staff were all fantastic. Very friendly and helpful. The surroundings are beautiful. We had lots of lovely walks in the sunshine. Will definitely go back!"
Mhairi - Jul 2022
"Chalet excellent. Children activities pretty much on the expensive side. £15 pound for each child on the sea scooters when they had to share was NOT good value. Seemed to us very greedy!! How about clearing a couple of trees at chalet 29 to give a view of Keilder Water. The photo you use on your information requires some updating!! Apart from that we had a very enjoyable week. John McGrath"
John - Jul 2022
"Excellent surroundings but poor organisation. All experiences had to be booked on line but limited wifi available on site made it difficult to book sessions. Food, while excellent had very limited choice all week It’s a lovely site and the staff are excellent but must be frustrated by these organisational problems. Would visit again but be better prepared ."
Jane - Jul 2022
"Amazing trip we all loved it including the dog. Booked to go back later this year"
EMMA - Jul 2022
"We loved our stay with Landals very relaxing"
Diane - Jul 2022
"Kielder lakeside was brilliant. Kids loved it and the lodge was great"
Claire - Jul 2022
"We have already booked up for 2021"
Victoria - Aug 2020
"A bit more thought needs to be put in to the sharing of available activities especially in the current climate."
Trisha - Aug 2020
"We had a lovely stay"
Verified Guest - Aug 2020
"Lovely lodge with everything you need. Bit disappointed at the lack of screening for hot tub and as there was no overhead cover, when it was raining we couldnt use
Would be useful to have instructions for washing machine etc ( even laminated ) as we ended up with a wash/dry programme for 9 hours !"
Paula - Aug 2020
"Fantastic especially with COVID definitely be back love it !!!!!"
Michael - Aug 2020
"The lodge was fantastic unfortunately we could not go on any of the other activities"
Margot - Aug 2020
"Very relaxing weekend. Cant wait to stay again the Lodge had everything you could want. The hot tub and bbq area are very private making you feel your miles away from everyone."
Lynn - Aug 2020
"High quality fixtures, fittings, furniture, bedding, towels, kitchen equipment and the large hot tub was superb."
Lynn - Aug 2020
"Awesome holiday. It was just a shame that many activities were already fully booked by the time I received my email with instructions on booking activities. It would have been good to have had more activity sessions taking place each day, especially the activities for kids."
Lee - Aug 2020
"Great accommodation, its clean and staff are accommodating. It will be better though if the the hot tub if facing the other way and the hedge are more matured so that there'll be more privacy when you are using the hot tub. But we are very happy overall."
Joel - Aug 2020
"Great accommodation with great equipment and nice touches like milk on arrival, but would have helped to have a mop to clean while we were there (can't fault cleanliness inside cabin, which was really reassuring in Covid times, but a shame a few cigarette butts outside cabin)."
Jennifer - Aug 2020
"We have stayed in Hareshaw Spa accomodation for many years, This year we stayed in Lodge 28. They are quiet and comfortable. The fittings and furniture are a little dated, for example the kitchen cabinets have some issues and the dishwasher probably needed a service but was perfectly usable. The outdoor space is welcome and the addition of a hot tub really adds to that relaxing holiday feeling!"
Hazel - Aug 2020
"Had an amazing time at Kielder and will definitely return to the Willow platinum swim lodge."
Emma - Aug 2020
"Brilliant but could do with more towels, and a summer tog duvets."
Duncan - Aug 2020
"Excellent holiday very different to what we usually do but glad we went couldnt fault the park or staff."
Dougie - Aug 2020
"We booked a table at the restaurant for my birthday after an hour they asked if anyone had took our order we had ordered and they lost it strange considering they were only 2 tables in we! The pkace was disorganised not ready for us and ended up having to make food in our lodge"
Danielle - Aug 2020
"A lovely lodge and ideal for our requirements"
Anthony - Aug 2020
"The beech premier lodge was lovely , well positioned (49) spacious, clean , comfortable .loved the hot tub . Would definitely recommend ."
Alison - Aug 2020
"Lovely, spacious, well equipped lodge which was a great place to relax at the end of a day of adventures. The barbecue hut was a particularly nice feature."
Tim - Jul 2020
"Just a great way to spend a week. Hot tub soothes away the aches from long walks and cycling. Lots of activities for the teens. Completely different experience to home"
Steve - Jul 2020
"Lovely lodge. Everything you wanted ,very clean and so comfortable and warm.
Brilliant"
Nicola - Jul 2020
"Lovely lodge to hire. Not cheap but hot tub means the price is higher. Very comfortable and clean. WiFi would have been nice but we worked around it with the kids as I could get good phone sigal on 02 and Three."
Douglas - Jul 2020
"Friendly onsite team who made every effort to make us feel welcome."
Dawn - Jul 2020
"Nice well equipped lodge. Shame about Covid plastic duvet coverings (we used our own sleeping bags in the end). Hopefully this will change one day."
Catharine - Jul 2020
"The lodge was spacious and comfortable. The hot tub was a real treat and was maintained well throughout our stay."
Carol - Jul 2020
"As always, excellent"
Beverley - Jul 2020
"It was quite expensive but worth the money."
Barbara - Jul 2020
"Brilliant so relaxing x"
Jeanette - Mar 2020
"Our lodge was very clean and comfortable. It was lovely when we arrived - the heating and tv were on and the small lights were on which gave a lovely cosy feel.
We had an issue when we wanted to watch a dvd - the only way to operate the DVD player was with the PlayStation controls. Not having family and being over 60, it took some time to work out how to use the system. Also, having to get on the floor to find the black box to switch the control from number 1 to number 2 was a bit inconvenient.
Overall the holiday was really enjoyable and very relaxing."
Diane - Mar 2020
"Would be nice if the decking area was fully enclosed so we can let our dog out with us whilst we are in the spa."
Caren - Mar 2020
