Pickering Lodges

Pickering Lodges are just 30 minutes from the historic city of York and on the edge of the quiet market town of Pickering.  The location of these lodges for exploring the local area is ideal.  The North York Moors are easily accessible as well as the seaside towns Whitby and Scarborough.

The lodges themselves are beautiful with stylish interiors and plenty of space.  The decking areas are also well proportioned with stunning views of the surrounding countryside.

Grosmont Lodge is a good choice for couples with modern living area, lake view and outdoor hot tub.  The Newton Dale Lodge is excellent for families with three bedrooms and open plan living - also with a lakeside view.

Families will love Flamingo Land just 2 miles from Pickering Lodges, with a huge range of rides and even a zoo. If you like gardens then take a trip to Sledmere House around 13 miles away with award winning gardens to admire.

lodge decorated to a high standard. Although towel radiators in the bathrooms would be a great benefit as you always have wet towels wether it be towels for the hot tub or bath towels. Also it lacks hooks for coates , also a tray near the door would be helpful for muddy walking shoes. Apart from these little niggles everything spot on.

This is our third visit and will definitely return. Very central for lots of places to visit. Also the privacy to relax and use the hot tub on site.

Lovely lodge but no view over the lake area. Little Robin came daily to be fed. Rabbits hopping about the adjacent field. Lovely.

Amazing time at Pickering lodge. We went at the same time last year for our wedding anniversary. Unfortunately due to 2bunfirseen hospital appointments we were only able to stay 2 out of the 4 nights we had booked. We will definitely be booking again once I know what is happening with my health. We stayed in the grosmont lodge which is amazing inside and out. Views of the lake from the lounge and the hot tub. We absolutely love our time there. So relaxing just what I needed

Had the most fabulous Mon-Fri break at Pickering Lodges over half term with my husband & our children, the lodge was spacious, cosy & well equipped, the hot tub was brilliant with views over the lake, Spencer's the onsite bar & restaurant was lovely with nice food, well priced & friendly service, Pickering was less than a 5 minute drive away & is well worth a visit or two, would highly recommend these lodges & will return, thank you
