Westfield Lakeland Lodges Reviews

The Walsh Family
We stayed in a Westfield Chestnut lodge and it was fab! 3 good sized room and a lush outdoor hot tub. My husband really liked to be able to spend a few hours fishing while the kids were just playing nearby. It was ideal for us and we are hoping to go back next spring.

Great lodge.
Just required some work on the decking around hot tub as damaged and rotten in a couple of areas

The cleanliness- or lack of - was the only thing we could fault. The owners were great - very pleasant, helpful & friendly. Sadly their choice of cleaning staff let them down - really need to review this as it's letting them down - unnecessarily!

Cabin was great some facilities could do with updating but nothing major at all. Immediately feels homely as soon as your there. For the price everything is fantastic would go again
Very enjoyable stay. My 3 year old boy loved it.
a relaxing 4 nights the peace and quiet was amazing
Was a great week with family plenty of fish to catch and a great path to walk the dog so we where all happy.
Fabulous place
Absolutely loved the place and cannot wait to return
Fantastic relaxing location. Lodge very spacious and clean with everything you need.
Really relaxing holiday just as wanted. Great lodges and very comfortable beds
Idyllic setting, lovely lodges, especially liked the log fire and hot tub, both were used everyday, lovely walks for the dog around the area and the fishing was great.Andy was extremely friendly and helpfull, even helping me when I got a puncture, the park is going through a revamp at the moment but this did not detract from a wonderfull, restful break, would definitely come again.the only slight niggle was the lack of cutlery, but this was something and nothing
Had a great time at the lodge. Very quiet and relaxing. Busted local areas such as Hornsea, Whithernsea and Bridlington. Our dog also loved going on the beach and walking through the surrounding fields Hot tub is a great extra and really enjoyed that too

The Jungle Zoo - about 17 Miles
Centred around a Tropical House in an amazing jungle like setting this is a really unique attraction that will appeal to families.  In the Cleethorpes area of Lincolnshire it's easy to get to and offers a fun yet educational experience.  Referred to as the number one attraction in the area highlights include capuchin monkeys, meerkats, ring tailed lemur and for the children African pygmy goats.  The tropical house features Red Eared and other Terrapins from North America and goldfish amongst other things.  We think The Jungle Zoo represents excellent value for money too.  We recommend a whole day to explore this attraction and ensure you get to see all of the animals resident there.

Wow this is an amazing family theme park and you will probably need the full day to experience it all.  From thrilling rides to family shows, kids of all ages are catered for.  Some of the most popular rides include the Obliterator and The Pendulus, not forgetting the Hypoblaster.   Family shows are entertaining such as the African Acrobat Show which is back by popular demand.  Entrance tickets are good value and if you book online you will receive a discount. To save even more money if you live locally or are visiting the area for a few weeks you could buy a season ticket for around £50 which will allow you entry for the whole season.
