About Loch Ness Highland Lodges

With spectacular views and excellent facilities, Loch Ness Highland Lodges sit right on the shores of stunning Loch Ness in the Scottish Highlands. Inverness is just 20 miles away and it's a great base from which to explore this beautiful region - Fort Augustus and the stunning ruin of Urquhart Castle are both within easy reach.

There's plenty of walking, fishing and boating to be done - with a jetty for canoe and kayak launching, as well as an adventure playground and mountain bike hire. You could take a five mile walk along the Caledonian Canal from Fort Augustus, stopping for a picnic at Kytra Lock. It's a relatively easy walk so ideal for the whole family.

We love The Moorings, a luxurious and modern lodge with amazing views of Loch Ness. It has a spacious open plan living area with a 42" plasma TV and Freesat, a DVD player and surround sound. French doors lead out onto a decking area where you can enjoy a barbecue and a soak in your own private hot tub.

From Invermoriston, a trip to the Isle of Skye will make a wonderful day out, and the beautiful landscape of the Cairngorms National Park sets the scene for hiking, cycling and climbing.

Loch Ness Highland Lodges Reviews

"as above

the lodge is great but patio doors onto the decking would have improved the flow of movement. it rained all weekend so we didn't use the decking area! Again if we had used the decking area, our lodge was the only lodge around us without an outside table and chairs on the decking area. We would have been disappointed if we wanted to eat outside and we didn't have a table."

"Amazing views
The lodge was a static caravan cladded but it was still very clean and tidy and hot tub was lovely I would definitely stay here again Vicky was very good and showed us everything we needed to know only down side was no thermostat for the heating and at night got a bit chilly"

"Was a little worried after reading previous reviews about the beds but neednt have worried as it was so comfortable and we all slept well. A couple of bulbs were out but nothing that ruined our holiday and am sure they would have been fixed if we had said but didnt spend a lot of time there"

Scott - Aug 2019
"With a stunning backdrop this is a great holiday park, lacking in facilities but there did appear to be works being carried out, peaceful and tranquil, the only noise you can hear is the hot tubs "
Karl - Aug 2019
"Brilliant, just a few minor problems, but all in all, excellent."
Richard - Aug 2019
"Great break, excellent value for money, lovely staff"
Halina - Aug 2019
"Never been to this area but was so easy to travel around with places to see. Great little places for meals which meant we only cooked once in the cabin.
The views were stunning and I really enjoyed evenings on the decking with a glass of wine."
Sandra - Jul 2019
"Loved our view, as I said before its only the hot tub more view of the loch would be great."
Tracy - Jul 2019
"Perfect place to stay. Everything was clean and close to everything you need."
David - Jul 2019
"Very relaxing nothing to do on the site during evenings"
Andrew - Jul 2019
"The lodge itself was extremely clean and well kept, provided with towels, washing up liquid, there is a few pots there to cook with. If you were to stay a week the size of the fridge and freezer would fit everything needed. Shower was a bit on the small side if you're washing your hair but managed it once I realised, there is no shower mat but not slippery at all. The hot tub seemed to be faulty on our first night but as we weren't using it that night there was no issues (called maintenance out and he was very helpful). The view from our lodge was breathtaking, uninterrupted views of Loch Ness."
Emma - Jul 2019
"Relaxing and beautiful views"
