These stylish and contemporary lodges sit in beautiful countryside with stunning views out towards the stunning Lizard Peninsula. Caddy's Corner Lodges are close to Falmouth and St Ives and just a 20 minute drive from any number of world-class beaches, secluded coves, surfing hotspots and spectacular coastline walks.

Cornwall has some fabulous walks and cycle paths - the 11 mile Coast to Coast Trail links the mining harbours of Portreath and Devoran and takes about five hours. You can go riding in Penzance, diving and surfing at Falmouth and even camel trekking at Helston! There are also plenty of really good restaurants serving fresh fish and local produce.

Gwenver is a beautifully designed contemporary lodge with south facing views. It sleeps up to four people and has a spacious family bathroom and a well equipped open plan kitchen/living area with flat screen TV and a superb music system. French doors lead to a large decking area with outdoor hot tub.

The Arts Centre in Falmouth is a 200 seat theatre with three art galleries and a varied programme of films and live performances. There are concerts, live music gigs and festivals at The Princess Pavillions.

Our Top Tip
"The Seal Sanctuary at Gweek is a fantastic day out where you can meet the seals, the Patagonian Sea Lions and the rescued dolphins."

On arrival we were met by staff with some milk and a welcoming gift of scones with jam and clotted cream.

The accommodation was spotless however appeared a bit tired and needing some areas of DIY (broken internal door handle, broken shelf in cupboard and curtains put back up by thread).

There is no staff on site which isn't an issue as there are numbers if needed in an emergency.

The site is situated down some very narrow back roads - sat nav worked well but it's on a blind bend. Falmouth is about 20mins away by car.

We loved the location as feels very rural but close to lots of attractions. Our dog was allowed on site and loved roaming. We attended off season for a very reasonable price - looking at peak season I wouldn't be able to justify that cost for the same accommodation. Also dogs are not allowed on most beaches during high seasons

Fantastic week away very relaxing and enjoyable. Great place to chill out and spend some quality time with family.
Clint
A great place to stay and relax, so peaceful. Ideally located for days out in Cornwall at numerous attractions such as Lands End, Poldark Mine, Football Golf at St Austell, Seal Sanctuary and many more. Cream teas on arrival and the hot tub was to die for early morning and late evening. Would definitely recommend to friends and family, hopefully return in the not too distant future.
Victoria

Mandy

YR
Great lodge with a great host. Sam ensured everything was sorted for my last min booking! Definitely value for money too!
Elliot
Lovely location not far from amenities. Cosy, clean and lovely owners.
Ruth
We booked a last minute holiday in the Easter holidays . We absolutely loved Caddy’s corner. It is remote and has no on site facilities but that was perfect for us. From our decking we watched the rabbits playing in the field, and enjoyed the peace and tranquility. The lodge was spotlessly clean, and had everything we needed. The beds were amazingly comfortable and the showers were great. We will definitely be back again.

Fun Days Out near Caddy’s Corner Lodges

The Rock Gardens Caves and Nursery have an amazing setting in the old Palace Quarry. The gardens offer an abundance of trees, plants and floral displays including a very grand 80ft Elm Tree and a stunning Weeping Ash. The site also offers a large carp pond, a breathtaking illuminated cave and a tea room serving tasty local produce.
A fantastic attraction with something for everyone.  Combining rides, activities and exhibitions it's all here in the one place. Look out for seasonal events too such as the Fire in the Sky event on 27th October 2010 - discount advance tickets are available for most of the events so don't forget to check out their website.  Some of the most popular thrill rides include the first Twisting Droptower in the UK called the Skyraker 001.  The Hornert Rollercoaster is also not to be missed.
Paradise Park - about 9 Miles
Paradise Park first opened its doors in Cornwall in 1973 and has been one of the regions top attractions ever since. What was once just a tropical bird garden is now a refuge for many different species of animal and aims to be educational as well as fun for its visitors. The inhabitants include some typical UK creatures including Otters, and Red Squirrels as well as some more unusual and rare animals including Red Pandas. Younger children will enjoy meeting the friendly animals in the farm area. The site has recently been extended and now also has a fantastic Jungle Barn where kids can let of steam.
Holywell Bay Fun Park - about 15 Miles
Holywell Bay Fun Park has been one of South Cornwall's most popular attractions for many years and features a good range of rides for children of all ages. As well as fairground rides and Go- Karts there are plenty of places for family fun including the Maze, Bumper Boats and Lazar Shooting area. If the weather is not great visitors can simply head inside as there are plenty of indoor activities including a large Soft Play Area and a thrilling Climbing Wall. With no entrance fee this park is a good budget friendly option too.
