The Nickson Family, Kent
Our week at Upton flew by and we wished we had booked longer. the site was so peaceful it was just what the doctor ordered. We had a really nice lodge with a hot tub which the children loved. We spend a few days out in Devon and found some lovely beaches. The village of Cullompton is within walking distance and has a very nice pub - try the pie of the day!
We always have the best time ever and never want to come home.
We HIGHLY reccomend going there. Just book it, we were not sure what to expect but what a treat!
Love it. A little slice of paradise
Looking forward to going again next year, such a lovely holiday.
Enjoyed our stay snd will return to take on the cstp one dsy.
A wonderful lodge with plenty of room and a lovely place to relax
Upton Lakes has always been a favourite with us, been many times. The fishing is good and the walk through the community centre which takes you to the back of Tesco is lovely and if you fancy a pint and something to eat your not far from the Weary Traveller pub.
A lovely lodge just to get away from it all.
Lovely xmas week. Lovely touch with the fairy lights and xmas tree. Loads of places to walk the dogs, love it
The lodge was lovely and great for the dog the terrace was enclosed with a gate. Loved the jacuzzi found it a lovely away from it all place but within walking distance of Cullompton
We came here on our honeymoon in 2010 and been back every year apart from 2.
Very clean & tidy. Great location and views from the lodge. Will definitely be back next year.
Was a beautiful setting , lovely place .We stayed there as my daughter got married at Upton Barn justup the roadso it was very handy for the venue .The only thing was the decking it did get very slippery when wet or when it was frosty first thing in the morning. Perhaps it should have something on it to stop it being so slippery .
Brill loved evert minute x
We had a lovely time at Upton Lakes with our four children aged between 4-11. I enjoyed having quality family time without internet to play board games, fish in the lake and relax in the hot tub. The lodge was fantastic with lots of space and everything you could require. I especially liked that it had a washing machine which meant I didn't have a massive pile of washing to come back home with. We used the barbecue one evening for dinner and the boys enjoyed toasting marshmallows on it too. A very quiet and beautiful location. The town of cullompton didn't have much to do but it is easy to access other towns. I would definitely return here with just the husband for a romantic break.
Great location, very quiet but easy access to shops and supermarket. Great lodge with hot tub and views of lake. Highly recommend.
Staff were helpful there within the hour on a Sunday morning. Amazing hot tub.
