The Nickson Family, Kent
Our week at Upton flew by and we wished we had booked longer. the site was so peaceful it was just what the doctor ordered. We had a really nice lodge with a hot tub which the children loved. We spend a few days out in Devon and found some lovely beaches. The village of Cullompton is within walking distance and has a very nice pub - try the pie of the day!
The Lodge was very nice, however the boiler did break on the second day meaning we had to be moved. This wasn't a massive problem though as the staff made us feel very at ease and allowed us to stay longer on our last day to make up for the loss of time. Both the lodges were brilliant and felt very homely.

I would return unquestionably thank you to all of the Staff
Great for all that went
Love the lodges well furnished, don't want for anything in the kitchen or the other rooms - True home from home -
Cannot fault. Such a stunning lodge!
Peaceful and private location on a hill with pleasant views

Very clean and modern lodge. Two bathrooms which wasn't expected. Very well maintained.
Home from home...plus a hot tub...and lakeside for fishing!
A beautiful location, lovely comfortable lodge, excellent fishing and close to amenities and town etc.
We loved our weekend at Upton Lakes. We stayed here for our wedding weekend. It's such a beautiful location and fantastic lodge. We will definitely be returning! :)
Lovely place to visit with the dogs, the lodge was beautiful and clean on arrival. The only thing I would change is the leather chairs as I dislike leather, but that's just a personal hate.
We will definitely be returning again for a lovely week away
Lodge quite small but well maintained! Everything we needed was there. We didn't really see any staff to comment on, jacuzzi was wonderful. Some of the dishes in our lodge were dirty, only complaint! Lovely area, beautifully maintained lake and gardens! Stunning!
Very helpful staff on arrival, great clean, modern lodge with all you could want in the kitchen. Good size bedroom & bathroom. Fishing pegs right in front of the lodge with plenty of good quality fish. We have booked at the lodges for a longer break next year.
We highly recommend.
This is the umpteenth time we have been to Upton Lakes and we think of this as our second home. That speaks for itself.
If you want to chill and relax this is where you need to go no phone signal or wifi just peace and quiet and amazing wildlife can't wait to go back.
Needs more fish in lakes and some branches in water cleared
Absolutely stunning place to stay and relax. Very stressed out when we arrived, but we left feeling relaxed and ready for the next thing love can throw at us
Wonderful setting , very peaceful, lots of wildlife, and a family of ducklings visited us everyday
We stayed at Upton Lakes Pet Friendly cabin. I can truly say it's the best UK holiday we have had. We wanted and peaceful break with the dogs but didn't imagine it to be as beautiful as it was. The cabin was modern, clean and fully equipped with everything we needed. The hot tub was great, especially in the evening. There were some lovely walks to take the dogs on. We will definitely be returning.
