Cant fault this lodge, very well equipped and superb location overlooking the lakes. We were unlucky with the weather but there were plenty of DVDs to keep us entertained at night.

The lodge was beautiful and very comfortable. Had everything we needed in it and more. There was one or two little things that niggled us such as broken handles on the folding doors leading out to the decked area which made them difficult to use and the hot tub was emptied for some reason on the Friday which meant we couldn't use it till well into the evening. This did irritate us as it was our last full day there and had planned to spend most of the day in the hot tub. Other than that we had a fantastic time and will be returning early next year.

This is one of the most beautiful and relaxing lodges we have stayed in. The hot tub was fab and the views were stunning. We really should have gone out more to explore the surrounding area but enjoyed just switching off, relaxing and taking in the views.

Fun Days Out near Anglesey Lakeside Lodges

Penrhyn Castle - about 2 Miles
Penrhyn Castle is a neo-Norman castle is located in the stunning Gwynedd region of Wales. The castle will appeal to those who enjoy sites of historical interest as well as to families looking to enjoy a fun day out. The Castle is in very good condition and guided tours are on offer. Don't miss a look at the grand hall with its exquisite collection of paintings or the Victorian Kitchen which gives amazing insight into the running of the Castle. Other highlights include the Servants Rooms and the one ton slate bed which was originally made for Queen Victoria.
Greenwood Forest Park - about 4 Miles
This attraction is really something special and has reached the finals of the "Best Family Day Out" category in the National Tourism Awards for Wales.  It's actually the only attraction in North Wales to be shortlisted for this prestigious award. Located in the Snowdonia region there are many rides and activities including Jungle Boat Adventure, Den Building, Green Dragon Roller Caoster, Treetop Towers and the BareFoot Trail.  Kids of all ages will love it here and we think it's excellent value as well.
Ribride - about 4 Miles

An adventure boat company in the heart of Wales. Whether it's adrenaline fueled fun, or a relaxing river tour, you and your family will want to book up with Rib Ride. Ride a 'RIB' boat on the Menai Strait or take a Bear Grylls adventure boat tour. Very highly reviewed on Trip Advisor. Tours for bridges and swells, puffin and seals, castle and islands and more.

Great Orme Ancient Mines - about 14 Miles
A visit to Great Orme Ancient Mines is offers a fun and educational daytrip for families. The amazing site allows visitors to explore the copper mines which are thought to date back to the Bronze Age but were only discovered in 1987 during a landscaping project. The tours provide an insight into the way of life for miners over 3,500 years ago. A family ticket is just £16.00
