Had a phonecall from Brenda a few days before we went to explain how to let ourselves in if she wasn't there which we thought was really helpful. We told her that this break was our Honeymoon and when we got there we found a nice bottle of champagne, box of chocolates and a lovely wedding card plus an amazing welcome pack. The lodge was very clean and had everything you would need, it has gorgeous lake views and a very private hot tub. We chose this lodge because we had stayed in it before and we wanted somewhere to relax after a hectic few weeks. We will be back soon.

Great family break
Absolutely love this place. The owner was extremely helpful and made sure she checked in with us before and during our stay to ensure we had all the information we needed prior and all was good during. My partner left some clothes in a wardrobe and by time we noticed the day after arriving home, she had already posted them back to us. The attention to detail in Jaccarie lodge is fantastic. It felt very homely and welcoming and we had all we needed. The outdoor space and hot tub are brilliant, unfortunately we didn’t get to use it much as we were there in December and the weather was icy cold. Will definitely visit again in the summer to make full use of the garden, BBQ and hot tub.
Excellent lodge!!!
The lodges are absolutely lovely! Perfect for Christmas taking a dip in the hot tub over the lake. We had a bottle of prosecco on arrival and there was plenty of utensils and linen to fill our needs. The hosts are very friendly and are always on the end of the phone if you need help with anything. I would recommend this place to anyone that wants a nice getaway with family, friends or couples. The only issue was no phone signal and the WiFi didn’t work and being on call with our jobs wasn’t ideal but a short drive up the hill didn’t bother us. Thank you so much for making our stay welcome.
Absolutely stunning lodge
Had a wonderful pre-xmas escape, would thoroughly recommend in particular during the colder nights the hot - tub went down exceptionally well with the mrs.
Very nice lodge, beautiful setting and a very relaxing holiday
an excellent place to relax and unwind!!
Absolutely amazing place. Stay at Alaw, was an incredible lodge. Already booked to go back June 2018.
Excellent...we will be back
Such a lovely peaceful place to stay! Brenda was so lovely and helpful, even picking us up!! Hot tub was fab! The lodge was full of the essentials even complimentary champagne. Can’t wait to stay again!
