Belan Bach Lodges afford panoramic views over the Banwy Valley from their peaceful setting above the small village of Llangadfan. The lodges are beautifully appointed and have elevated balconies to make the most of the stunning scenery. We recommend these lodges to couples and families looking for a relaxing retreat.

The park has a tranquil, rural setting yet is not too isolated as a village pub and shop can be found within 2 miles. Further afield the Lake Vyrnwy with its RSPB centre and watersports is just 6 miles away. Popular attractions in the region include Welshpool, Powis Castle, King Arthur's Labyrinth and the renowned Centre for Alternative Technology with its unique water-powered railway. Families looking for seaside attractions should head to Barmouth and Aberdyfi which are both less than an hour away.

The Accommodation at Belan Bach is spacious and well equipped. There are five types of lodge to choose from, all with private outdoor hot tubs. The Banwy Lodge has two bedrooms as is a timber clad holiday home with leather sofa and outside patio with furniture. The Dyfnant Lodge is larger and sleeps up to 6 people in three bedrooms. It also has a decking area with furniture and hot tub. The Derwen Lodges were new to the site in 2007 and offer luxurious accommodation. These stylish lodges have three bedrooms and an outside decking area with private hot tub.

Lodge was perfect but hot tub a huge disappointment. Side wall and lid were broken. Lights and air pump didn't work at all. One jet worked ok but the other one worn out and extremely noisy so couldnt use it much so lost half of the jets. Quite dirty inside and lost a lot of water during our stay. In desperate need of major overhaul or replacement.

A quiet location, ideal if you want to get away from the rat race and enjoy the outdoors. We did! Lodge was clean and tidy with plenty of crockery, utensils and glasses. Appliances all great especially dishwasher. The lodge was warm and had amazing views. The hot tub is awesome, nice and warm on our chilly weekend away. Don't be put off by murky water on first use, it's just high iron content, it soon clears. I understand the need to restrict wifi to one device at a time, and although we were perturbed at first, it was a welcome change to not have everyone attached to the Internet. We enjoyed our weekend away and would recommend for a peaceful break!

Fiona
Fabulous cabin no complaints didn't like wales to remote came home early.
Vivienne
a lovely comfortable lodge with everything you need to have an enjoyable relaxing break
Janice
Lovely views over the Welsh Hills. The cabin was well equipped and comfortable. You need a car if you want to get out and about. It is not really suitable for walks as the roads have no pavements so can be a bit tricky. The lodge although clean needs a little more than just a wipe occasionally, for example window frames dead flies etc. Only a small niggle on this otherwise lovely site. Quiet and peaceful.
Suzanne
Very welcoming with complimentary tea, coffee and milk. Fresh towels in every room. Very relaxing break
Lee
