Lower Fishpools Lodges Reviews

"The lodge was lovely but the sofas need replacing...they are very uncomfy and worn out....the lodge itself was very spacious with all the imenities you could possibly need. The signal at the lodge was very bad."
Emma - Mar 2020
"A small but intimate site. The lodges are completely private separated by high privet hedges. Very spacious and well equipped. The hot tub is massive and well maintained."
Brian - Mar 2020
"Fantastic will be returning again thank you Jenny and staff"
Tricia - Jan 2020
"Just loved everything about it our 3rd visit"
Christine - Dec 2019
"This was our 3rd visit to the beautiful cabin. What we love most is that there is nothing nearby so it's a perfect opportunity to spend time with each other. Both myself and my husband work up to 7 days a week most of the year so we really look forward to this break away. It has everything you could possibly need! The Welsh cakes are a lovely little touch. We have just booked for our 4th visit and cannot wait."
Catherine - Dec 2019
"4th visit and we will return"

"Highly recommend. You could actually just stay in the lodge as the local walks and views from the hot tub are so beautiful you could never get tired of looking at them. A quiet and relaxing break enjoying nature and family time."

"whats not to like after seven visits"
David - Jun 2019
"This was our 2nd stay at these wonderful lodges. We absolutely love it there. Its so peaceful and relaxing. It was a bit of a shock to see a lot of the trees had gone next to the cabin but it was lovely to walk the dogs through the forest. The new hot tubs are fantastic and I love that you can play your music through it via your phone. We will be back again :)"

Paul - Apr 2017
"Overall very nice lodge. Lovely surrounding towns and forest and close to elan valley. Lodge could so with a lick of paint in parts and a feather dusting for the odd cobbweb i noticed. Apart a txt for the security box for the key the owner didn't introduce themselves at all, not a big deal but some would have liked been shown around. The surrounding towns are nice enough but very little there. Also phone signal and internet is non-existent in these lodges!! Hot tub really nice, lights in tub not working with only 1 overhead spot light which otherwise would be pitch black outside. Had a nice time. Would be a good base to spend a week with the intention of travelling the area."
Ryan - Jan 2017
"We thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend relaxing at this really well equipped lodge, there was everything you could need there and the jacussi was supberb"
David - Dec 2016

Jemma - Dec 2015
"We had a lovely stay at Bleddfa Lodge and we will certainly be returning in the future. My only criticism would be that the second bedroom has two singles which is not ideal for two couples. Not a big deal though. This would be ideal for families."
Gregory - Nov 2015
"Had an amazing time at the lodge. Was such a peaceful time, everything had been thought of for our stay by the owners. The dogs also had a fantastic time and the hot tub was an amazing feature! Would recommend and would definitely stay again."
Stacey - Aug 2015
"This is a truly beautiful location, surrounded by hills and peacefulness! Local shop is about 7 miles away so go prepared with all your food/drinks; however it is great because it is a place for pure relaxation, away from the hustle and bustle of a busy home life. Jenny was fantastic and very kind, the cabin was comfy and clean and rigged out with some family games, T.V's and a great speaker system. Loved the sunken hot tub! My only comment would be wifi would be brilliant as there is no phone signal or chance of internet, however on a positive note this also contributes to a few days of peace and quiet from normal life. Would highly recommend this holiday to anyone, great price, great location."
