Warmwell Reviews

"There was no extractor fan in the on suite and one of the single beds was like an army camping bed. There were also stains on the wall paper in the main bedroom. We did have problems with locking and unlocking the front door, but as soon as reported to the front desk someone was round to fix it. Excellent service there."

"Great lodge just need a starter pack."
Verified Guest - Oct 2024
"AWFULL BEDS could feel springs through. , lodge smelt of tobaccowasnt clean had to clean our self . Reported severel issue including an unsafe had rail . If my mum who has M.S had gone to use it she would have fell through it was awful luckily matennace came and did a temporary fix but these things should be checked before use . Staff at reception were awful did not take responsibility or ownership for issue ????. They eventually removed us as the matinance team said they would not be able to get electrics working till Monday lighting wasn't working in two of the rooms and no lighting outside of the Lodge. Site had good entertainment. Just could do with checkers and reception team could be nicer when talking to customers ."

"Our lodge was disgusting how they can call it a luxury lodge is beyond me. The pictures look nothing like what we received. The whole lodge was filthy from carpets to the sofa to the bathrooms even the decking outside was unusable as it was so slippery it was dangerous. Mould in the windows cobwebs everywhere- above our heads in the bedrooms. We started cleaning the kitchen ourselves then decided to complain and ask for a thorough clean."

"Love the lodge, great location for privacy and peace. Comfy furniture, great signal for wifi (didnt keep crashing like some places either, so it was consistent connection). The ONLY reason for 1 less star on the cleanliness was my daughter dropped something that rolled under the sofa - and under the sofa wasnt too nice, lol! (Not that I wouldve known otherwise tho.ugh)..It was peak season with high turnaround so Im sure they just dont have time for under sofas - but I cant fault anything else otherwise. Fab lodge! Will be happy to book again."
Samantha - Aug 2024
"Some of the lodges are becoming a bit tired on the outside but good inside"
Pete - Aug 2024
"The park is beautiful and very peaceful considering the number of activities available. The activities are well organised and the kids enjoyed the ones they did especially swimming. It was a great place to stay with young children and they enjoyed cycling round the park too.Small issues the lodge wasnt that clean. The floor was disgusting it was covered in dog hair everywhere and the stains on it and the sofa were grim. All it needs is a good deep clean. Within 15 mins the boys (2&4) were covered in hairs from playing trains / cars.I asked receptionist for it to be hoovers but it didnt make any difference. The TV (although not essential but the Olympics were on!) wasnt working for the first couple of days after the third time of asking it got sorted. Minor grips no bin bags, washing up liquid, hand soap. Its so annoying to have to bring or buy ones for a few days. We are currently staying one night in a Radisson and it has everything in the kitchen including a couple of dishwasher tablets. The kitchen is well stocked apart from the usual things no decent knife! If it was cleaner it would be perfect."

"Dorchester Lodge - Differred from photos, however a good sized, light and bright lodge in a good position. Came with mod cons (but need to take everyday items such as teatowels and dish sponge etc) equipped with Oven, hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, dish washer and washer/drier so home from home. Overall cabin was in good condition and very clean upon arrival. 2 x 2/3 seat sofa, 1 x Double and 2 x single bed with Ensuite (large) showrer and full size bath with shower over.4g phone signal not great and site wifi also slow, no 5g signal at location"

"The lodge was in a state of dissrepare and shouldnt be rented out."
Verified Guest - Aug 2024
"We did have an issue in our lodge as the washing machine leaked, I just wanted to freshen the pool/beach towels half way through the week! We had to use our lodge towels to soak up all the water. Maintenance were out within 15 minutes and house keeping had removed all the wet towels and delivered a clean bundle within 20 mins. Couldnt ask for more. The lodge was a little tired around the edges but was clean and tidy."
Lisa - Aug 2024
"Lacking a homely feel, disappointed there was no dvd player.,biscuit crumbs and face powder on bedroom furniture."
Marion - Jun 2024
"The lodge was spacious and not overlooked. The fixtures and fitting were tired looking and the lodge could have done with redecoration. The seat covers on the lounge settees were dirty. Also there was no washing up liquid or cloths which we had to buy from the on site shop. This has previously been supplied."
Verified Guest - May 2024
"It looked nothing like the pictures unfortunately, which was a shame as thats what I always go by. The kitchen floor was breaking up in pieces which we kept catching our feet on. The cleanliness wasnt great at all, filthy skirting boards and stains on carpet. The shower constantly dripped and the bath plug was broken and wouldnt come out without using a knife. We didnt spend loads of time in the lodge but would have been extremely disappointed if we had gone in half term week and paid loads more. It was lodge 129!"
Claire - May 2024
"Some of the furnishings and doors were starting to show their age but no major complaints.Smoke poured out of the oven the first time I used it as the bottom of it hadn't been cleaned.I put my rubber gloves on and scrubbed it with a brillo pad. It was fine then. But not what you want to be doing after a tiring journey to get there."
Verified Guest - Apr 2024
"Our lodge was a little tired looking, and had two tiny problems, but otherwise was comfortable. We loved it's exact location, and adored the view - absolutely fabulous!"
Helen - Apr 2024
"Could do with some oven gloves and scissors in the kitchen. Apart from that it was lovely"
Hannah - Apr 2024
"Shower was rubbishThe decking and step to get in and out of the lodge was dangerous"
Georgina - Apr 2024
"Nice clean lodge in good shape. Seemed fairly new and recently refurbished, No complaints."
Liza - Apr 2024
"Needs a small coffee table"
Alan - Mar 2024
"The lodges are fully equipped and every utensil is in them. No need to bring anything with you. They are so warm and comfortable and our bed was like sleeping on a cloud."
Karen - Mar 2024
"It is a semi detached lodge. Although also has sofa-bed in lounge we felt that if there were 4 staying it would be too small, but perfect for 2"
Verified Guest - Mar 2024
"Dirty floors in the lodge.I slept on top of the bed as the sheet appeared to have a blood stain on it."
Verified Guest - Feb 2024
"We had a fantastic stay at Warmwell. We stayed in a 3 bed Morton Lodge which was a fantastic size and set up for our family. A few minor areas could do with a bit of a deeper clean but on the whole it was clean, tidy and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location is beautiful and the park provides so much to do for all ages. We particularly enjoyed the Off Road Jeeps lead by Tommy, who was extremely personable and helpful. For the children we particularly enjoyed the large soft play, outdoor play areas, Ringos and swimming pool. The evening entertainment was of a good quality and provided fun evenings for all ages. The children loved the kids disco and we enjoyed The Lights, Camera and Musicals show and the The Holiday gameshow. The food on site was great, we enjoyed food from The Boathouse and ordered to the Showbar. As well as bubble waffles from scoops, all were good quality and ready quickly. We visited off peak so some opening times of venues and experiences were limited but we didnt find this impacted our stay too much and with some planning we didnt feel like we missed out on anything and there was still plenty to do."
Lucy - Feb 2024
"- our lodge wasn't ready at the check in time, we had to wait 45 mins.- we had a broken dishwasher (first world problem I know, but we effectively paid extra to have a dishwasher in our accommodation).- shelf in the fridge door was broken but hadn't been removed, so when we put 4 pints of milk on it, it gave way and we had a very wet floor and carpet."
Jonathan - Feb 2024
"Clean - tv in bedrooms really nice touch"
Sarah - Feb 2024
"Me and my family had a amazing holliday at warmwell last week, lots to do ski slopes with ringo's roller rink entertainment arts and crafts and more and one staff member was amazing and stood out was rebecca she was so nice danced many times with my daughter listend joked daily wear as some of your other staff members we felt were not so welcoming with was a little let down but still over all we loved it and we will defonatly be coming back again"
Sarah - Aug 2022
"Everything was amazing. Only advice is don’t book the “pool party” it’s expensive, less time in the pool than the free sessions you can book. They don’t open the water slide and half the floaties were punctured. One life guard was also particularly rude and we all came away disappointed. But everything else we couldnt fault and location is great for exploring. Our lodge was also one of the nicest we’ve ever stayed in."
Abbie - Aug 2022
"Great range of facilities at the location."
Richard - Jul 2022
"We had a great holiday. The children tried out new activities and really enjoyed their time. The staff throughout the park were very helpful and always asking if there is anything we need. The lodge was very clean and the beds were comfortable."
Jaimi - Jul 2022
"Highly recommended ?"
Clare - Jul 2022
"Fantastic holiday! Warmwell is in a great location, only 15mins from the beach! The lodge has everything you might need: toaster, kettle, microwave, cutlery, cooking utensils, washing machine, bath towels. Lots of activities on site to keep the children entertained! Staff super friendly & helpful!"
Zoe - Jul 2022
"Great place for a break for the kids, expensive, but isn't everything at the moment"
