We think you'll love these fantastic luxurious lodges; they are beautifully furnished and set in idyllic woodland on the banks of the River Fechlin, at the heart of the Highlands. The views are simply breathtaking - there are stunning mountains, sparkling lochs and dark forests to explore on the South Loch Ness Trail, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Fort Augustus and Inverness are within easy driving distance and there is a wealth of facilities to enjoy.

Wildside Highland Lodges are close to a local country hotel that serves food and takeaway pizzas, plus there is the option of having gourmet food delivered to your lodge and even hiring your own exclusive chef if you're celebrating a special occasion. There are outdoor games like giant Jenga and draughts, a good outdoor adventure play area, free DVD hire and free fishing.

All the lodges here represent the height of luxury but we particularly like Tomatin Lodge. It's extremely spacious with a master double and one single room and has an open plan living area with kitchen and diner. You can make the most of all weathers with a wood burning stove for the chilly nights and your own private hot tub with amazing views of the River Fechlin and the surrounding mountains for the warmer evenings.

The South Loch Ness Trail takes in seven lochs and stretches for 28 miles between Loch Tarff to Troutbeck with several viewpoints where you can take in the magical Loch Ness. Urquhart Castle in Drumnadrochit is a historical ruin that overlooks Loch Ness and is embedded in local folklore and legend.

Our Top Tip
"No visit to Scotland would be complete with a visit to a distillery and at Tomatin, you can take a tour of one of the highest distilleries in the country, at 315 metres above sea level."

The most amazing Christmas! We spent 7 nights over Christmas in the Wildcat Lodge. Evenings in the hot tub, dinners round the fire, opening presents from under our real Christmas tree. There is so much to do though everything is approx 20+ minutes drive away, we fed reindeer, fantastic walks, brilliant public house 2 minutes walk away serving delicious food. The lodge itself is perfect, always warm even at -4, plenty of room for the three of us, all the facilities you would need. The park books up quick and no wonder! Staff are fantastic and just a phone call you can find someone minutes later cleaning the hot tub or delivering logs for the fire! Brilliant, thank you!
Liz

4th year going to Wildside, first time staying in the bigger lodge, it was truly spectacular! The hot tub added the cherry on top! It's so peaceful and beautiful and the staff couldn't be more helpful! The little pub at the top of the road is a great bonus! Excellent food, can't wait to come back! It snowed aswell so that was just fantastic!
Anna
I adore Wildside Highland Lodges. It is the highlight of my year going there. The staff are so nice and helpful, but the lodge is really what makes it. From the hot tub to the log fire, I just couldn’t fault it. The location is lovely and there are so many nice walks. You’re also less than an hour from the beautiful Cairngorms. I’ve already booked for next year.
Jane
It was perfect. Everything was thought of for us. The hot tub was awesome too. Can not recommend too highly. We will be back!
Andrew
Pet Friendly Hot Tub Stay We took our two bordie collies with us and they relaxed as well as we did. We enjoyed the hot tub and the quiet serenity of the o Location.
Naomi
Absolutely beautiful lodge and scenery! So well kitted out with everything you need for a self catering place. We didn’t want to leave! Grouse lodge has to be the best of the bunch being able to watch the lovely sheep munching away while laying back in the hot tub chilling out. Log burner is so nice too, although we ended up spending a small fortune on logs and kindling .. would go back again to this place, top marks and most of the staff were great too! Just one tiny thing is that WiFi is terrible, although I said I didn’t want to use my phone while on holiday, it’s still useful for some things! Thanks so much wildside!
