Just returned from a fantastic long weekend at Lindale park, Birch lodge was really good and well equipped was like home from home. Having the hot tub was a real bonus after a long days walking. Looking forward to returning later in the year.

My first break in a lodge. Elm Lodge is very spacious, spotlessly clean and well cared for.
The bed was very comfortable and the there is loads of storage space.
The kitchen is large and contains all you need for a break.
The pond outside the lounge patio doors attracts many different birds and is very relaxing to look and listen to.

This mini break was faultless, gorgeous location surrounded by lovely little villages and so remote. The log cabin was beautiful, so relaxing, very well equipped. So private with excellent quality hot tub and BBQ. We only wished we were staying longer and deffo plan to revisit!

As this is a pet friendly lodge, I would recommend to ensure the hovering is done more. There was still dog hair on the carpet, I hooved just as I went in and they were gone. No problems doing this but just as I took my 2 year old daughter, I would ensure that hairs were removed.

I would totally recommend Lindale park if your looking for somewhere quiet and accommodation very clean and staff are lovely and friendly.
Kyle
The wifi on site was temperamental at times as it covered the whole site there was no separate hubs in each lodge. The more people using it the worse the reception was.
Stewart
Quiet peaceful and very relaxing in a lovely location !!
Martin
An amazing relaxing holiday couldn't have asked for more will definitely be looking to return.

Very enjoyable stay. I couldn't praise Lindale Park highly enough. Staff were very helpful, providing us with towels since we had forgotten to bring ours. Setting was very private but close to amenities. Loved the hot tub!
Caroll
Excellent location to visit lots of local attractions. Quiet location was just what we needed - but not somewhere if you want a shop on site. Perfect for us and a very clean, beautiful lodge- hot tub was excellent. We saw plenty of wldlife. Planning next visit. Well worth the money.
Emily
Fabulous holiday park.

The brown signs showing the way to Lindale Holiday Park are very helpful. I would not like to travel there in the dark as the lanes are quite narrow and some of the junctions are quite tricky as a result of overgrown hedges. However on arrival at this oasis of calm - just the bleating of sheep and birdsong I was met by the owner and quickly felt at home. I will certainly be looking to book a return break soon.
Beverley
Excellent from start to end! Could not ask for better.
Kimberly
This is the second time I have visited here and was given the same lodge. Beautiful and quiet place to relax. Lovely lodge and well looked after. Will be coming again. Recommended to friends and family also.

Fun Days Out near Lindale Park

Big Sheep - about 3 Miles
This is a recommended day out for families with young children visiting the Bedale area of Yorkshire.  Visit the farm and receive a warm welcome as well as a guided tour.  You will have the chance to bottle feed the lambs, bath a pig and handle some of the smaller animals.  Kids will love the big sandpit and the outdoor play area. There is also a cafe and indoor play area for when the weather is not on your side.
Lightwater Valley - about 9 Miles
Situated in the Ripon area of North Yorkshire this popular theme park makes a fantastic day out for the whole family.  The more daring will love the big and thrilling rides such as Raptor Attack, The Ultimate and Trauma Tower.  For the little ones there are some excellent attractions such as Flying Camels, Dodgems and a Magic Wheel.  Toddlers will like the Dragon Boats and the Lightwater Express amongst other things. There are over 40 rides and attractions in total and we think this is excellent value for money too.  If you book your tickets in advance online you can save even more money and beat the queues.
Fountains Abbey - about 13 Miles
This is an outstanding world heritage site located close to Ripon in the North Yorkshire area. Nature lovers will be in their element with an abundance of wide open spaces to explore and there are special guided tours for families.  Some of the highlights may include seeing wild deer and bats during your visit.  The grounds are fantastic to wander round but there is also an Elizabethan Mansion, Victorian Church, Georgian Water Garden and the finest example of Cistercian Abbey ruins in the country - Well worth a visit!
