These impressive lodges are ideal for those seeking something extra special. The luxurious lodges and cottages are beautifully set in the grounds of the historic Gisburn Estate and come very highly recommended.  The area around the site is one of great natural beauty with the stunning Ribble Valley (the inspiration for Tolkien's Lord of the Rings) right on the doorstep.  The Yorkshire Dales are also within easy reach offering numerous outdoor pursuits.

Each lodge has been designed to meet the needs of the most discerning guest and manage to seamlessly blend contemporary design with rural charm and comfort.  Enjoy your own private decking area with a sumptuous outdoor hot tub or take advantage of the on site massage therapist to really unwind. A range of traditional beauty treatments are available along with some more holistic alternatives.  Fantastic semi detached cottages with their own gardens and private hot tubs offer another option for accommodation.

Nearby Pendle Hill offers a challenge to keen walkers who can reward themselves afterwards at the famous Assheton Arms in Downham village (the setting of the BBC's Born and Breed drama).  Just a ten minute walk through the Estate from your lodge, you'll discover the stunning market village of Gisburn with a delightful pub, award winning Italian restaurant and quaint shops selling local organic produce gifts and crafts. The Lancashire coastline and numerous market towns are also within reach.

There are four types of lodge to choose from. The Milan Lodge offers superb luxury and a large open plan living area along with two bedrooms. The Moray Lodge is perfect for two couples and has 2 double bedrooms as well as a private outdoor hot tub. The Balmoral Lodge is larger and has three bedrooms and a large living area as well as a patio.

All was excellent. The staff and food and drink in Hindelinis beautiful. The only downfall is it closes too early. The lodges were full to the brim whilst we were there and think if open a bit later, would get more custom.

Perfect from start to finish though we didn't want to leave. Definitely will be going back, probably for a longer stay next time :-)

Crumbs and dirt and pet hair down the sides of sofa cushions. Flooring in hall way damaged and held together with black tape but still moving when walked on. Hot tub not fully functioning which was main reason for booking.

We had a lovely big lodge on the end of the row with nice views across the park down to the farm and cottage, with fields behind us and a lovely big garden with a hot tub :)
Everything in the lodge was clean, modern and comfortable.
There were a few small issues including mouldy bread left in the bread bin, a flickering lightbulb in the bathroom and a wobbly toilet seat but all only small issues!
We would like to suggest a parasol or cover for the hot tub so it can be used even in the rain as it is such good fun but the weather can ruin it!

Cannot fault the lodge. We tend to go out of season so pay less. Lodges are very clean and very well laid out.

The Lodge would have been much better if it had wifi, also there was no socket in the bedroom anywhere near a mirror which made hair straightening difficult, a chair in the bedroom to put clothes on & some hooks for hanging would have been very useful. Otherwise very comfi clean.
Ishia
Absolutely fantastic lodge, really enjoyed our stay, staff really friendly would definitely stay again.
Tracy
A lovely clean, quiet romantic hideaway, exactly what we were looking for.
Margaret
Had a lovely time here, spent 6 nights here. We all stayed for a friends wedding. Would definitely love to stay again.
Lynda
We had a lovely time here 2 adults and 3 children, 2 aged 6 and 1 aged 3 months. The food from the onsite restaurant was gorgeous and the cabin was lovely. Very clean and stocked with everything we needed. The only thing I would change was that the hot tub was not under cover. If it had a gazebo over it would be perfect.
Adele
Great location, lodge was amazing. Perfect for couples wanting a quiet break
Rebecca
We had a fantastic weekend! The lodge was beautiful and the park was really well kept and very peaceful. We had a range of ages from 17-68 and it was ideal for us all, we could not recommend it more highly.
Josh
We booked a Wentworth Lodge for our honeymoon and we found it to be fantastic! From the start of the holiday to the end we had a superb time. The hot tub was an ideal way to relax. We took our two dogs and having a secure garden meant they could enjoy an area to run around. We will definitely be going back! :-)
Ciaran
The only thing I would change was the mattress - or add a nice mattress topper. Everything was lovely, we had a water problem for the first few hours but it didn't really interfere and the staff were great. We will be back, we absolutely loved our stay and didn't want to leave!
Chris
Great little park and a perfect relaxing break
Linda
Great holiday, slight problem with hot tub not being hot enough, staff are great and friendly. The maintainance guy think he was called Paul or Pete is a star, has so much knowledge of local area.
