Glendevon Country Park

Scotland Perthshire Glendevon

Nestled in the most beautiful heather covered mountains, and within an hour or so of Glasgow and Edinburgh, the woodland lodges at Glendevon Country Park offer peace and tranquility with stunning views across the glen. Woodland trails, majestic castles, superb golf courses and world class fishing in rivers and lochs abound.

Blair Drummond Safari Park in Stirling is a great family day out with incredible animals, face painting and a pirate ship. Silver Sands Beach at Fife has gorgeous views across to the islands of Inchmickery and Incholm and kids can burn off their energy go-karting, trampolining and playing on the pedal tractors at the Activekid Adventure Park in Perth.

Superior Lodge 3 is a luxury holiday lodge for up to eight people. It has one double bedroom, two twins and extra space for two people to sleep in the lounge. There is a dishwasher and washing machine and an outside decking area with hot tub.

The Unicorn Bar & Grill in Alloa has a 'Best of Scottish' theme - it's a stylish grill restaurant where the Buccleuch beef and seafood just have to be sampled.

Our Top Tip
"The gardens at Glendoick in Glencarse are stunning - there's an idyllic woodland and hybrid trial garden as well as an excellent garden centre where you can buy your own plants."

The lodge we stayed in was absolutely spotless and well kitted out. Although you are practically in the middle of nowhere, with very slim to no mobile or wifi signal...it is a great place to spend some quality family/friends time together! We certainly had a ball celebrating our special occasion together.

Lovely lodge, clean and warm when we arrived. Bedding and towels provided were good quality. Hot tub is small, but fabulous! Plastic glasses are provided, although we brought our own.
The only slight niggle, which we are used to, is lack of serving dishes etc for a self catering lodge, and tiny frypan, one oven rack, to cater for 6/8 people. We booked two lodges, and had 8 people, for an 80th Birthday weekend. Probably best to go prepared if planning catering for a group. On a plus there were plenty plates and cutlery in the one lodge for us to eat together! (I had brought extra just incase!) Both the fridge and freezer were a great size. Seating wise there were two sofas, we managed to squeeze 3 adults onto each one, but ususally ended up with someone on the floor, as it was a bit snug!
We loved the lodges, and would definitely book again, if there was more seating provided.

Had such a great weekend away at Glendevon for my birthday with friends! The lodge was immaculate, clean and modern. We couldn't fault anything apart from how small the lodge was...There was 8 of us but the hottub only held 4 or 5 at a push. Apart from that it was a great weekend and I would highly recommend it!

Lodge for six and the table and chairs were for six, but sofa would not really sit six comfortably.

Really loved that you received a small welcome box, containing milk, coffee, tea, washing up liquid and even a table for the dishwasher. - Great

Hot tub could have been bigger
Spoilt only by stained bed sheets and mattress with blood and urine on arrival . Used reserved set of sheets and washed forsaid. Towels should have been changed during week duration.
We had a fantastic break very peaceful beautiful scenery and the hot tub was great, the lodge itself was amazing, will definitely be back again.
Excellent. Only word I can use to describe it. Place was great, cabin was clean and tidy for us arriving. Stunning cabin, value for money. Id pay more than I did if I had to.
Brill, fell in love with the area
Excellent location and cabin accommodation, site quite Monday to Friday but tends to be noisy when weekender arrive.
