Hunters Quay is an action packed holiday spot for families and couples alike! The setting is beautiful; it’s next to the Holy Loch and the Firth of Clyde, and surrounded by glens where you’ll find an array of walking trails and wildlife. There’s loads for the kids to get involved with – from archery to WaterWalkerz – and with the wonderful Scottish lochs within easy reach, the whole family is going to be spoilt for choice.

There are simply too many superb facilities at Hunters Quay to list! With two indoor heated swimming pools, you can go snorkelling and try your hand at sea scooters and raft building. The park has an indoor and outdoor children’s play area and a games room - as well as badminton, archery, crossbows, fencing, Body Zorbs, Aeroball and Pana Soccer. There is also a sauna, steam room and Jacuzzi for the adults – and a host of other activities to keep you busy.

We love the Oak Premier Lodge 6 which is brand new for 2012 and sleeps up to six people. It has been fully interior designed and represents the height of luxury with magnificent views over the Loch Lomond National Park. The lodge has a verandah and outdoor barbecue area with its own private hot tub, a spacious living area and a flat screen TV in all three bedrooms.

Argyllshire and Islands is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty where majestic landscapes, spectacular coastal scenery and lochside villages abound. Visitors to the area will love the superb walks and cycle paths. You could relive 500 years of turbulent Viking history at Vikingar in Largs – or head to Fins Seafood Restaurant in Fairlie for some delicious oysters, scallops and home-smoked salmon!

Our Top Tip
"The David Marshall Visitor Centre in Aberfoyle is a great place to go for guided walks, talks and seasonal activities."

Would highly recommend this for a family holiday. Caters for all ages.

Would certainly come back.

Only issue was inconsistency of hot-tub care. Whilst it was done every morning without fail, maintenance ranged from a good 15 minutes to the time it took to open the lid, throw in some powder, close the lid and leave, which amounted to approximately 2 minutes and without any levels being checked.

Apart from the above issue and the fact that a cycle was out of commission in the gym and the other warm-up cycle was hogged by a lady reading her paper for the whole time my wife and I were there (around 45 minutes), the whole family enjoyed themselves immensely.

I will certainly be returning to Hunter's Quay.

Our lodge was lovely and we did have a really nice relaxing time, I believe we got the lodge at a really good price as it was term time - however, we still paid almost £100 a night for a self catering lodge, I would pay this again, however, I wouldn't pay any more, we did enjoy ourselves but we did spent a lot of money so that's why the value for money rated low for me.

Best caravan we've stayed in. Great size, excellent condition and lovely and warm for those cold nights x
I was at Hunters Quay Holiday Village supporting a gentleman for his annual break. The caravan allocated to us was modern, clean and very well equipped, it was well located too within the park. Staff in the leisure centre were very accommodating and helpful and took the time to come and speak to my client, he was also thrilled that he got to meet Rusty and had his picture taken with him. Over all we had a great time and will be using the park again in the future. We have a gentleman using the new disabled access caravan next week and this is opening up new holiday experience for the people we support. Many thanks
A peaceful site with good facilities and friendly helpful staff Apart from the bars being overpriced there is nothing negative to say about this Park
Wonderful family holiday
We had an amazing few days at hunters quay this month. We stayed in a log cabin which was comfortable and clean. Surrounding areas were beautiful. A lovely quiet relaxing time 😊
Got a really good last minute deal for the Bank Holiday weekend. Stayed in the Rowan comfort lodge 4. Well-equipped and clean. Facilities at park very good. 2 swimming pools, good entertainment, shop, bar and restaurant. Also fish and chip van. Would certainly go back again.
lodge was lovely no faults whatsoever would definitely go again really pleased with service and site we took my mother of 88 with us and she had plenty of room even though she's got mobility issues she managed fine
Excellent site, beautiful surroundings. The bar and restaurant staff were friendly and helpful, as were the receptionists. It was also very convenient having a local shop and chippy on site. I'd recommend this site to anyone.
Excellent location and good clean accommodation
Beautiful surroundings. Caravan was spotless everything you need in one place
Excellent staff, service and wonderful lodge. Went early in season and it was very easy to use the facilities.
