Auchenlarie Reviews

"The caravan was all we need"
Andrew - Nov 2021
"booked 4 bronze 2 caravans and 1 gold the bronze vans smelt terrible and were all dirty we had to wash all plates pans and cutlery. 2 of the vans were very small unable to get dried in bathroom!"
Stuart - Nov 2021
"Great time! Staff and people great. Will come back. "
Eileen - Nov 2021
"The caravan seemed brand new with how clean it was. Couldn't fault it at all."
Nikki - Nov 2021
"Caravan was spotless and very comfortable and cosy The central heating had been turned off Should be on for an October check in Also fire was turned off at plug Could do with instructions for the oven"
Robert - Nov 2021
"the caravan was clean and tidy and comfy"
Gordon - Nov 2021
"It's a great site a visit this place several times a year but each time a have went this year there has been less and less places open"
Peter - Oct 2021
"Restaurant menu needs a serious overhaul...not what I want when eating out basically takeaway on a plate..very poor"
Andrew - Oct 2021
"Stained bedding , no hand sanitisers , very few dishes complained because by granddaughter slept on a bed that had stained sheets and I only got a sorry the cleaner put the wrong mattress protector in that she knew and surely could see for herself , disgusting especially during Covid when things should be spotless"
Doreen - Oct 2021
"Main Bedroom was too small. Scrapped against the wall on the way out of the bed and no drawers in there either.Living room and kitchen area were large enough. Heating didnt work initially. Seats were dirty but rectified next day but we couldnt sit on them for 2 days. Dining seats were dirty but couldnt get cleaned or we would have had nowhere to sit. Couldn't move in the toilets. All bedding fitted in which was good."
Daniel - Oct 2021
"The van was exceptional very clean on the surface but we dropped something down the gap of the sofa and as individual seats move one to retrieve the remote and found a lot of dirt, sweets, nuts, magazines dated mid August and even a couple of medical tablets which as on the surface as stated it was very clean we were shocked at as it stated that the caravan due to covid was clinically cleaned but feel that the sofas shod be moved and hoovered under. This was the only fault."
Judith - Oct 2021
"No oven in the pod as illistrated for cooking"
Andrew - Sep 2021
"Could benefit from having two double rooms, but over priced."
Elizabeth - Jul 2021
"The caravan we had was very new and the position on site offered great views. The decking area was especially welcomed as we had a young dog with us."
Wilson - Jul 2021
"Clean and well positioned van with views over the sea"
Richard - Aug 2020
"Loved it from the minute we arrived"
Kathy - Aug 2020
"Good weather plenty places to visit"
Marilyn - Aug 2020
"the most comfortable bed. Caravan was a good size"
Andrea - Aug 2020
"Lovely time, despite it raining and there being less things to do than normal due to Covid"
Hollie - Jul 2020
"A prize to the caravan with the comfiest sofas and beds I have ever had in a caravan - thank you!"
Verified Guest - Jul 2020
"Great site, lovely caravan and really relaxing location in a gorgeous part of Scotland."
Chaz - Jul 2020
"Lovely Site especially in the current 2020 covid times to get away for a break. Scenery is beautiful and the staff on site were very helpful. Our caravan was spotless and we enjoyed our week away very much."
Lisa - Jul 2020
"The caravan was very modern with excellent sea views. On arrival I noticed that the bathroom and lounge area could have been cleaner, there was dirt and hair in the bathroom, there was dust in the lounge. I also found a used face mask in the twin bedroom and so I carried out some cleaning on my first day. This surprised me as the booking information and information on arrival assured extra care when cleaning due to Covid. Other than the cleanliness of the caravan, the site and the accomodation were very comfortable and spacious with great views."
Ashley - Jul 2020
"Brilliant trip & will return."
Maureen - Jul 2020
"Brilliant park right on the coast with it's own private beach with stunning views from the caravan veranda, we had a great time exploring the beach and rock pools, we also explored the local area and a visit to the Mull of Galloway Lighthouse is a must."
Graeme - Mar 2020
"Fantastic from start to finish
Just laid back and chilled in a beautiful place"
Carol - Mar 2020
"Would definitely recommend."
Michael - Mar 2020
"Been here many times now, it's a nice clean site."
