Can't fault anything
Lovely lodge. Third time we've stayed in it.
We would return again .
good base for exploring
the static was very clean, the doors and handles were quite sticky it wasn't that they were not clean i think it was what they were cleaned with,it had everything you needed in it, you couldn't even tell it was a dog friendly static no smells at all, would definetly go back for the peace and quiet.
Fantastic lodge with great hot tub.
Hope to return again next year.
Beautiful lodge and wonderful scenery will definitely be back
Great holiday! Been lots of times and would go back.
Beautiful lodge and amazing views .
Lovely staff, especially the pool guys who were always helpful and informative when approached, a good bunch :-)
Beautiful place would have liked a shop on site
Lovely lodge, fully equipped with everything you need. Can't fault the place at all. Lovely little harbour 20mins walk away. Weather wasnt great, so would have liked the hot tub a bit closer and maybe with an canopy over it?
But it is nice and private.Ok
Loved the area. Plenty of walks. Just 15 mins or so to the village and shore. Nice walk to Rockcliffe. Caravan was very clean, well equipped and very comfortable. Staff were very friendly and cheerful. When I booked I was told the shop on the site was no longer open but there was a shop in the village, the shop in the village was a gift shop. The nearest grocery shop for is 2 miles away. Would love to stay in November but only Gold caravans are available at that time so expensive for an out of season holiday.
Being a regular user of this site I have become used to the high standard of service which I have received at Kipford over the years. With their helpful and friendly staff always willing to help and give you advise as to places to go and things to do also providing loads of guides to local attractions in your accommodation.
It was great the kids loved the lodge, the weather was kind to us too.
will recommend to family and friends
My only point was there should be a slippery when wet sign coming up from hot tub as I slipped and bruised my mouth and nose
We also recommend a visit to Castle Douglas and the Treasure Hunt Treasure Trails. These treasure hunts are great fun for the whole family and are an entertaining way to explore a new town or village. Children will enjoy solving the clues whilst learning about the history of the area. The walking trail is suitable for wheelchair users and those with pushchairs so no one is left out of the fun.
