The Waistell Family
We spend 4 night here in April. the weather could have been better but we still made good use of the hot tub and our children had plenty of space to play with the football outside. The bar in the golf club does really nice food and the view of the golf course is amazing. we saw deer running over the course while we were enjoying a drink in the bar. We also spotted woodpeckers, rabbits, hares and even an owl. We went in to Beverly and the market is good selling everything you could think of. The site is very quiet, no entertianment of play area but a good choice for anyone looking to relax. More suited to couples and groups of friends than families really.
HANNAH THOMAS, SWANSEA
We came here in a big group to celebrate a friends birthday and we all had a blast. Stunning does not come close when describing the lodges. they have been really well thought out to offer every thing you need from the hot tub to the cooking utensils. The master bedroom overlooking the golf course was out of this world.
We ate in the bar in the golf club a few times and the food was always goo and we thought quite good value. The had cut chips are yummy. The site is very quiet and small and they are in the process of building a crazy golf area and games room although they looked a long way from being finished.
Mrs & Mrs Jones
Beautiful, stunning, amazing!!! Gorgeous lodge, we made full use of the hot tub it was brilliant. We went for a break that we planned on being pure total relaxation and it definately was. Peaceful, with fantastic scenery and the Glasshouse bar and resturant, really trendy and staff extremely friendly. Will most certainly return here.
Perfect place to relax. Top of the range lodges which are set in a wonderful location.
Amazing lodge, 3 spacious bedrooms, all ensuite, great view from master bedroom, hot tub was fabulous.
The lodges were spotless, modern and comfortable. All necessary facilities were available, dish washer, washing machine etc. The rooms even had electric blinds which was a great touch.
Only negatives I had relate to the hot tub, which wasn't the best I've used in accommodation such as this. Also we suffered a couple of power cuts during our stay that was widespread amongst all of the lodges, which after spending such an amount on accommodation I would have thought there would be a back up generator running.
Most enjoyable, staff helpful and friendly, accommodation excellent.
Lovely clean lodge (33) lovely decor couldn't fault it.
Amazing lodge with a stunning view!
The lodge we stayed at was perfect. Nice, warm & clean. Everything we needed was there. We really enjoyed the hot tub and even though the lodges were close to each other, ours was on the far end so we did have enough privacy. Also there were a lot of golfers passing by, but that is expected with the golf course nearby. It was really nice to find a loaf of bread in the kitchen for us, as well as tea & coffee. Will be returning again.
We all had a fantastic time and found it value for money especially the girls night in. Only thing I would have to say on the down side that there should be six dressing gowns for use in the hot tub.
The staff are amazing, the restaurant & location was beautiful and the lodge was out of this world. The perfect break!!
The only thing I can comment is; the lodge we stayed in specifically needed a really good thorough clean (to my standard) and quite a bit of maintenance needed doing within the lodge. Overall, Fabulous holiday and the restaurant food was out of this world! Can't wait to book again.
Lodge was fantastic.... had everything you needed. Very clean. Very comfortable bed
Date of stay: 24th April 2017
Accommodation type: York Lodge
The lodge had some problems when we arrived. These were dealt with quickly but there was a worry with the main bedroom window. This is like a long door and apparently should open at the top and lean back. I went into the bedroom on arrival and the door opened fully, I almost fell out and had to stop myself. When I reported it to the office, a member of staff was heard to say they knew about it, no one had warned me when I booked in. other than that there were no problems and the site is lovely, we had beautiful views and a nice meal in the restaurant.
Excellent lodge, beautiful site & surroundings, very peaceful location, all staff we met were extremely friendly yet professional. Would thoroughly recommend.
Super fun with the girls - gorgeous lodges, gorgeous setting
We stayed 2 nights and was very relaxing and peaceful
This was an excellent choice of location, more than exceeded our expectations. We would thoroughly recommend KP Lodges
Our lodge was truely spectacular. Made us really feel like VIPs! The surrounds were lovely. Even though we didn't get chance to eat in the restaurant (only drinks!) the decor and menu looked fabulous, so much that I'm already starting to plan my wedding there!!
Our groups age range was from 18months-64 years and we all each enjoyed our stay. The one addition that would make it perfect would be a swimming pool!
Brilliant family time gorgeous scenery beautiful place
An excellent stay at the KP for our anniversary. We were very impressed with the accommodation and facilities. Looking forward to visiting again.
It was a lovely lodge, very modern and clean however there were a few basic things missing from the kitchen like a frying pan and oven glove which you would expect seen as they had other bigger pans. Also the check out time is very early to say how much we paid for the weekend you'd think you could stay til at least 12pm on the check out day (understandably the hot tub would need emptying at 10.30 still). Other than that great place and great trip!
Madhyamaka Meditation Centre a unique and very special centre in the Yorkshire moors offering amazing meditation experiences for experts and novices. If you are enjoying a lodge holiday in Yorkshire then a visit to York Maze is a must! This summertime attraction is now one of the most popular in the region offering fun for the whole family. Tractor and trailer rides around the maize are also available and are recommended for those with young children.
Jorvik Viking Centre is a fun and educational attraction offering visitors the chance to learn all about the Viking-Age city of Jorvik. Thanks to the Archaeologists from York Archaeological Trust the amazing houses, workshops and backyards of the Viking-Age city of Jorvik are on display and give a clear insight to the way of life all those years ago. The site aims to offer an interactive experience with the state of the art time capsule and the blacksmith's furnace being the top attractions.
Dig is a unique and somewhat educational attraction in York offering children the opportunity to enjoy excavation, discovery, and digging. Within the site is a discovery centre, several pits filled with Roman and Medieval ruins and a science lab where children can take part in exciting experiments. Staff are on hand at all times to help the children and to ensure they get the most from the experience. The attraction can get busy during school holidays and pre booking is recommended.
