The Waistell Family
We spend 4 night here in April. the weather could have been better but we still made good use of the hot tub and our children had plenty of space to play with the football outside. The bar in the golf club does really nice food and the view of the golf course is amazing. we saw deer running over the course while we were enjoying a drink in the bar. We also spotted woodpeckers, rabbits, hares and even an owl. We went in to Beverly and the market is good selling everything you could think of. The site is very quiet, no entertianment of play area but a good choice for anyone looking to relax. More suited to couples and groups of friends than families really.
HANNAH THOMAS, SWANSEA
We came here in a big group to celebrate a friends birthday and we all had a blast. Stunning does not come close when describing the lodges. they have been really well thought out to offer every thing you need from the hot tub to the cooking utensils. The master bedroom overlooking the golf course was out of this world.
We ate in the bar in the golf club a few times and the food was always goo and we thought quite good value. The had cut chips are yummy. The site is very quiet and small and they are in the process of building a crazy golf area and games room although they looked a long way from being finished.
Mrs & Mrs Jones
Beautiful, stunning, amazing!!! Gorgeous lodge, we made full use of the hot tub it was brilliant. We went for a break that we planned on being pure total relaxation and it definately was. Peaceful, with fantastic scenery and the Glasshouse bar and resturant, really trendy and staff extremely friendly. Will most certainly return here.
Perfect place to relax. Top of the range lodges which are set in a wonderful location.
10/10 holiday we had a great time.
lovely Place t stay really impressed with this site
The log cabin is a must, its luxurious and modern, best one on site, hot tub is the biggest as requested so loved every minute of it.
Richard, South Cave
Top class accommodation. Spacious and luxurious. Spotlessly clean.
The lodge itself was clean with good facilities. The kitchen was well equipped and spacious.
Great time away.
Date of stay: 6th October 2017
Accommodation type: York Lodge
We stayed in the York lodge, number 10. It is a lovely lodge but has a massive drainage problem. The water in the shower comes up past your ankles and a constant drain smell in the downstairs bathroom. A few things need to be fixed ie, tiles screwed on, flooring, holes in walls etc but overall a very nice lodge.
Brilliant break thank you
Brilliant holiday and would def come again
Fabulous lodge. Lovely surroundings (except the golfers loo at the end of the garden!) Fabulous hot tub. Rooms and facilities perfect. Had a wonderful peaceful relaxing time.
Amazing place, clean& modern. The photos do not do place justice, it is so cosy but spacious, one of the nicest cabins we have stopped at and we have not stopped anywhere else since thank you
We had an amazing time at kp lodges. The lodges themselves are unbelievable and we will definitely be making a second trip here.
The most amazing place to stay for a long weekend, I loved it from the word go! It was for my birthday and I was really overwhelemed with it all, it was perfect
This is our 3rd year and we have booked another for next year
SITUATION GREAT, Lodge very comfortable
only small problems reported to staff, i.e. interior of fridge door missing, kitchen tap broken but still just workable , cruit broken. apart from that, excellent
Fab weekend away. The lodge is clean and modern and located on a beautiful site
Needs a swimming pool
Beautiful lodge , I'm a customer service manager and just wanted to say that Kim ( I'm sure that was her name ) who waited on us at Sunday lunch is a credit to your company, efficient , helpful and a pleasure to talk to, same goes to the young men working on Saturday night in the restaurant even though they were having to deal with a table of 10 women that were obviously very drunk but didn't really bother us as we were in the private room. The reception staff were so different , not rude but not very welcoming either a few smiles when greeting customers goes a long way. We will be booking again such a beautiful place , we loved it.
Madhyamaka Meditation Centre a unique and very special centre in the Yorkshire moors offering amazing meditation experiences for experts and novices. If you are enjoying a lodge holiday in Yorkshire then a visit to York Maze is a must! This summertime attraction is now one of the most popular in the region offering fun for the whole family. The maze has been improved this year and is now bigger and better than ever before. Carved from an amazing 1.5 million growing maize plants it is thought to be the largest maze in the world! As well as the maze itself the site boasts an adventure playground, 9 hole crazy golf courses and an animal petting area where children can meet the cute and friendly animals that eat the maize and watch pig racing! Tractor and trailer rides around the maize are also available and are recommended for those with young children.
Jorvik Viking Centre is a fun and educational attraction offering visitors the chance to learn all about the Viking-Age city of Jorvik. Thanks to the Archaeologists from York Archaeological Trust the amazing houses, workshops and backyards of the Viking-Age city of Jorvik are on display and give a clear insight to the way of life all those years ago. The site aims to offer an interactive experience with the state of the art time capsule and the blacksmith's furnace being the top attractions.
Dig is a unique and somewhat educational attraction in York offering children the opportunity to enjoy excavation, discovery, and digging. Within the site is a discovery centre, several pits filled with Roman and Medieval ruins and a science lab where children can take part in exciting experiments. Staff are on hand at all times to help the children and to ensure they get the most from the experience. The attraction can get busy during school holidays and pre booking is recommended.
