About Camper UK Leisure Park

Head to Camper UK Leisure Park for the peaceful lakeside getaway you’ve been waiting for. The site offers cosy lodge accommodation in a secluded rural area, and is perfectly positioned for you to explore the history and heritage of Lincolnshire.

Spend a tranquil afternoon walking round the beautiful lake, or take out your fishing rod and see what wonders you can catch beneath its surface. There are numerous walks that traverse the glorious surrounding landscapes, taking you across rolling hills and beautiful meadows. Why not travel along one of the cycle paths that go directly to Lincoln itself? The site is also just a fifteen-minute walk to the village of Harby, where you can stock up on supplies at the local shop, have a drink and a bite to eat at the village pub, or even treat yourself to a massage at the Old Farm Spa.

The site offers a selection of cottages and log cabins that are ideal for a restful escape. We love the Osprey - this stylishly designed lodge sleeps up to four guests in two comfortable bedrooms. The lodge has a spacious open-plan living and dining area and a roaring fireplace in the living room, perfect for warming up after a long day of exploring. The modern exterior boasts sleek wood panelling and a raised outdoor decking, topped off with a private hot tub where you can enjoy the glorious views of the area.

Only twenty minutes down the road is the historic city of Lincoln, with plenty of attractions and places to explore. Be sure to stop by the glorious Lincoln Cathedral, or the impressive Lincoln Castle, and admire the stunning architecture of the city. Step back in time at the Museum of Lincolnshire Life, or take a wander down Steep Hill with a charming selection of 12th-century homes. There are plenty of country parks and gardens in the area to explore, such as Doddington Hall and Gardens with acres of manicured land, or Whisby Nature Park, with an array of wonderful wildlife and beautiful scenery to discover.

Camper UK Leisure Park Reviews

"Lovely cabin in a quiet location nice hot tub and well equipped"
Michael - Apr 2024
"Great accommodation with everything we needed. Lots of space and a lovely location."
Janet - Apr 2024
"The Heron lodge was fantastic, it had everything we needed including kitchen essentials. Very dog friendly and clean. The free standing bath was great! The only improvement would have been a hot tub ???? however some of the other lodges offer a hot tub!"
Alice - Mar 2024
"The sofas were awful and couldnt relax on them which was a nightmare when theres nothing to do on the site other than feed the ducks. There was absolutely no wifi either so it felt like we were trapped all weekend. Hot tub was great and distances from others was great but apart from that, at this time of year, very poo value for money"
Verified Guest - Feb 2024
"Our understanding this is going to have a bit of a face-lift soon. However it was comfortable and suited our needs with young children and dog."
Verified Guest - Feb 2024
"Wonderful peaceful idyllic setting! We just wanted a lazy weekend away. If you are looking to relax then this is your place. Feels like you are miles from anywhere. Beautiful lodge with two double bedrooms. Had everything we needed. Only thing that would make it perfect is a bath but that does not make it any less lovely. Lovely fishing lake with ducks who like to chat to you! My 5 year old loved the ducks and fish. (We dont fish, just wanted a peaceful setting) The managers are very friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. We will be returning this year and would highly recommend."
Catherine - Feb 2024
"Would highly recommend this beautiful lodge we have done over 50 lodges with Hoseasons this one is up there with the best the view straight onto the lake is amazing both bedrooms have patio doors onto the decking there are two levels to the decking. Very nice inside everything you need and very clean will definitely be returning."
Wendy - Feb 2024
"1st time staying in the Osprey as we usually stay in the Heron but chose the Osprey as it was cheaper this time and I'm a cheap skate ???? Hot Tub Washer Drier Ample decking at the front if you bring your pooch 2 bedrooms as well if for some reason you bring your kids It's a great lodge and caters for everyone"
Robert - Feb 2024
"The lodge was beautiful. Very clean, well equipped and in a perfect location on the site. Not far from shops, or the centre of Lincoln. We will most definitely be returning!! Thank you!!"
Helen - Feb 2024
"A great place to stay really tranquil and a good base for visiting Lincoln"
John - Jan 2024
"Lovely stay at Oyster catch lodge, right on the river so handy for husband to fish all day.Lovely and warm lodge and very comfortable , very peaceful Explored the area and visited Lincoln and NewarkWould definitely go back to relax and for husband to fish"
Amanda - Jan 2024
"Can't wait to return."
Verified Guest - Jan 2024
"Lovely modern lodge with stunning view of lake. Good size rooms, nice bath and shower. Very peaceful location."
Robert Forsyth - Jan 2024
"We stayed over Christmas with our toddler and dog, the place was beautiful and perfect for our break. Only thing was they dont provide cots or high chairs which would have been great but it was not a major issue. We really loved our stay and would definitely go back."
Carol - Dec 2023
"Goldfinch lodge is perfect for a couple , everything you need , hot tub is lovely, and beautiful views of the lake out from , and views of open fields at the back , staff very welcoming and friendly"
Anita - Nov 2023
"Nice surroundings with the lake and ducks. Nice if you want peace and quiet. Friendly staff were there to greet us and also when we left which was good. It was a comfortable stay - tea and coffee on arrival, warm and cosy, plenty of towels and a nicely designed Lodge. The Lodge itself does not have WiFi as it is weak across the site (we were aware of that being a possibility but very inconvenient). Although it did smell clean and fresh, cleanliness was a bit of an issue - lots of spiders and cobwebs, sofas were tired and grubby, duvets and pillows were very flat and obviously well used. You are required to strip your own bedding before you leave which I've never had before, unfortunately it showed that the mattress covers do not get cleaned either."
Verified Guest - Nov 2023
"Just what we needed a quiet and peaceful time with added benefit of good weather."
Verified Guest - Nov 2023
"3rd stay at Camper UK at their Heron lodge and already booked our 4th for next JanuaryJohn and his family are great and really helpful. The site is perfect for a nice quiet holiday to relax and unwind. It is out of the way and a little far from aspects like Asda (6 miles away) but that's what we love about it. You are in the countryside The Heron is great and has everything you need for your stay and is also perfect if you have pets as it's not carpeted incase of any little mishaps from your furry friend but it's also nice and cosy as well so don't let that put you off. I can't say enough great things about the site and lodge's if you are looking for a nice relaxed time away It's perfect"
Robert - Nov 2023
"As detailed above!"
Patricia - Nov 2023
"Stunning accommodation"
Sarah - Nov 2023
"Loved every minute. The management team there are superb, very helpful & friendly."
Elizabeth - Jul 2023
"Great stay in a lovely lodge. Jofn was very friendly and welcoming. Lovely location and the lodge was spacious for the two of us."
Richard - Aug 2020
"Excellent holiday, exceptional customer service and thoroughly enjoyed our time. Will book again."
Helen - Aug 2020
"Lincoln was great. A wonderful mixture of old and new architecture. Quiant cobbled streets and lots of unusual and quirky shops as well as big stores. The multi storey car park was excellent.l"
Gary - Aug 2020
"A disclaimer, the review may appear critical but I thought overall the stay was sensational and I have booked again.

We stayed for a week at the Barn Owl which is the only non-pet friendly lodge at the location. The lodge was finished to a very high standard and cleaned pretty well - although we did have to vacuum again as bits were missed (e.g. near sink and toilet). This was the only cleaning issue - other than that it was spotless.

The lodge itself is just like the photos - beautiful, and there is a nice gap between other lodges so you don't feel crammed in. It is a very peaceful and quiet park and the view overlooking the lake is stunning.

The staff were exceptional, very bubbly and friendly. There isn't a lot to do around the area, i.e. it's a couple of miles to civilisation for food etc (we got a tesco delivery to site) .

Activity wise, the kids played on their bikes - there are some lovely walks - and a tree swing which unfortunately will be taken down soon. There is a huge field with horses visible and a good 2-3 mile run route out back.

I would make some recommendations:

- the keys should have coloured dots so you don't have to play key-bingo to guess which is correct
- cleaning wise, more care in bathrooms
- some instructions for dishwasher (which is silly as you have to press a button with the house and a pound sign to 'start')"
Asif - Aug 2020
"Loverly holiday definitely go back again"
Stephen - Aug 2020
"We enjoyed our stay and would definitely return at some point.
It was nice to be able to take the dog for walks ,you only had to walk out the back of the campsite .
It's a peaceful and relaxing site"
Nikki - Aug 2020
"Beautiful modern lodge with fully fitted kitchen. Separate bathrooms in each bedroom. Immaculate private hot tub."
Lynette - Jul 2020
"Clean, modern accommodation, with a great addition of a wonderful hot tub."
Simon - Jul 2020
"One of the best holidays I have been on stunning lodge, location and owners who take pride in the park and its surroundings. We are already looking to book again for next year!"
Michelle - Jul 2020
"We had a very relaxing enjoyable weekend. Lovely peaceful site. The lodge that we stayed in was very nice and we all enjoyed the hot tub. Staff friendly and helpful."
Lisa - Jul 2022
"First time staying here and in a Lodge as well Some bits we were unsure of but the staff were brilliant They made us feel very welcome and were always accommodating. We are definitely staying here again."
Robert - Jul 2022
"Lovely clean chalet on a beautiful site. Friendly and helpful staff. Great attention to detail with pre made beds, towels, fresh flowers etc on arrival. Close to Lincoln and within easy reach of the east coast for a day trip."
Brian - Jul 2022
"We have just recently had a week's stay at this site in Lincoln and it was the most relaxing enjoyable time. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and the site itself was stunning and immaculately kept. We will definitely be returning"
DAWN - Jul 2022
"Excellent accommodation, beautiful quiet location and friendly helpful staff"
Andrew - Jul 2022
"Excellent place to just sit and watch the world go by"
Lesley - Jul 2022
"We had a great stay in Barn Owl, the lodge is beautiful and really well looked after. They work very hard to make sure that your stay is great, and there attention to detail is to be applauded. The lake is full of fish and I caught some great carp, all in great condition. Thank you both for a lovely peaceful stay - we will be back!"
Michael - Jul 2022
"Nice quiet spot, the lodge had everything we needed and Jasper, our dog, enjoyed watching all the ducks and geese."
Keith - Jul 2022
"Lovely lodge could not fault it. Lovely surroundings."
Julie - Jul 2022
"Very nice and quiet place but still close to town for shopping ."
Susan - Jun 2022
"Lovely and quiet, nice holiday home, great fishing."
Keith - Jun 2022
"Best lodge stayed in so far . Very clean . Excellent fishing on doorstep ."
Andrew - Jun 2022
"Lovely lodge that was well equipped and spacious. Welcoming friendly staff. Great surroundings for dog walking. We could not get internet (which was not a bad thing). Fishing was good. We loved the whole experience."
Barbara - Jun 2022
"Very private, beautiful surroundings made beautiful with the sunshine. Over looking the lake with plenty of carp. Very peaceful with ducks, rabbits and bird's. We really enjoyed ourselves. Very friendly and professional staff."
Jane - Jun 2022
"Accommodation tip top. A few tweaks could be made regarding kitchen utensils. Saucepans and baking trays scratch badly and non stick worn away. No up to date gas safety certificate on display. Wonky garden bench outside on veranda. Otherwise excellent accommodation in extremely quiet surroundings with a nice view of the pond ducks and geese. A few rabbits running around early morning."

This is an all weather attraction located in Ilkeston Derbyshire.  With a large play frame as well as bikes and ride on toys this is a fun place for young children.  The toddler time sessions take place during term times on week days from 9.30am until 2.30pm and are very popular. The admission fee is excellent value for money and parents can sit down and enjoy a drink while the children play. A new baby changing facility has now been installed together with some new chairs making this a clean and welcoming attraction for families.  Look out for offers on their website such as a free hot drink on select days.

Rushmoor Country Park - GU10 1ET
about 32 Miles
Located in Louth in Lincolnshire this is an ideal attraction when you want to get out in the fresh air and explore. There are many animals to see including ponies and piglets which the little ones love.  There are also some amazing birds from hawks and falcons to owls.  Most aspects of this attraction are included in the admission cost and as well as wandering around you get to hold and feed the animals too.  A real highlight are the micro pigs which are just like real pigs but in miniature.  Fully grown they are around the size of a spaniel!  If you get hungry then you can take your own picnic to the picnic areas or head for the tea room selling delicious food and children's meals too.
Pleasure Island - DN35 0PL
about 35 Miles
Wow this is an amazing family theme park and you will probably need the full day to experience it all.  From thrilling rides to family shows, kids of all ages are catered for.  Some of the most popular rides include the Obliterator and The Pendulus, not forgetting the Hypoblaster.   Family shows are entertaining such as the African Acrobat Show which is back by popular demand.  Entrance tickets are good value and if you book online you will receive a discount. To save even more money if you live locally or are visiting the area for a few weeks you could buy a season ticket for around £50 which will allow you entry for the whole season.
The Jungle Zoo - NR31 9EY
about 35 Miles
Centred around a Tropical House in an amazing jungle like setting this is a really unique attraction that will appeal to families.  In the Cleethorpes area of Lincolnshire it's easy to get to and offers a fun yet educational experience.  Referred to as the number one attraction in the area highlights include capuchin monkeys, meerkats, ring tailed lemur and for the children African pygmy goats.  The tropical house features Red Eared and other Terrapins from North America and goldfish amongst other things.  We think The Jungle Zoo represents excellent value for money too.  We recommend a whole day to explore this attraction and ensure you get to see all of the animals resident there.
Gullivers Kingdom - DE4 3NT
about 36 Miles
This is a top class theme park with plenty to do for the whole family.  From thrilling rides to more gentle activities for the little ones this place is ideal.  The best thing is that 50% of their attractions are under cover so the British weather needn't spoil the fun.
Heights of Abraham - DE4 3PT

This unique attraction combines an array of activities.  If you have a look on their website there are some good video clips which give an even better idea of what this attraction is all about.  Some of the highlights include the Cable Car system which is actually Britain's first alpine style cable car system.  You are transported from the valley floor right up above where you can enjoy superb Dewent Valley Views.  You can also stroll around 60 acres of wooded hillside on foot to see an array of birds and wildlife.
