Our lodge was in a good location and still private. May be time for updates to some of the furnishings and bathroom. The very large circular jacuzzi is a great addition.

We had a 3 night weekend break staying in Keepers lodge, the lodge was very clean and tidy and lots of space for all the family like home from home. When we arrived it was evening and looked so welcoming all the lights were on and a lovely little extra was a bunch of flowers on the dining table.
Lovely hot tub on the decking which was ready for us to use on arrival.
A short walk to the golf club for a meal, lovely and peaceful stay in a perfect location for a number of days out. We got to see badgers and squirrels outside the lodge. We will definately be coming back again and highly recommend it.
Thea
Another brilliant holiday at Griffon Forest. We stayed in a poachers lodge, which was very clean and thoughtfully laid out. Lots of places to visit nearby. Loved that we could hire dvds and games for free on a rainy day.
Deborah
Thoroughly enjoyable holiday. Cabin was lovely and clean, with flowers; chocolates; wine; tea; coffee and milk on arrival. Great to be able to borrow books and DVD's from reception. Not too far to the park and ride into York. Fed squirrels and birds on terrace in the morning, and badgers at night which was great! Would recommend πŸ˜€

Lee
It was amazing, would of been nice to have a little more to do in the evening as the bar only open until 9. Apart from that brilliant
Andrew
Absolutely loved it, this is the third time we have stayed here, beautiful relaxing place to be. Gorgeous lodge, so clean and comfortable and things placed there for our arrival. We will be back in a couple of years.
Eunice
Great location, close to some excellent places to visit, such as Castle Howard, Eden Camp and North Yorks Steam Railway. Only 20 mins roughly from York. Wonderful place to have lodges. Very woody. We saw badgers and owls every night. 20 minute walk to the sports bar, and Tykes restaurant. Will definitely go again, but the lodges really need some tlc both internally and externally. Bathrooms have seen better days, and the patios need a good power washing. Kitchen is well equipped, dishwasher tablets, tea, coffee and sugar. There is a washing machine, tumble dryer and ironing board and iron.
