the only downside for us was we could hear very busy traffic on a main road near us which sort of spoilt the general peacefulness of our stay but to be honest after a few days we seemed to ignore it. we are already thinking of returning later in the year!

Really lovely Lodge - Very Clean.
Hot tub was very nice indeed.
Down side was the Wi-Fi as we could never get connected.
Would definitely book again.

Fantastic Lodge - very clean and comfy beds - Hot tub was very welcome at the end of the day, sometimes twice a day :). Great location as you are central to lots of locations - don't forget to visit the Bakery in the village and the fish and chip shop also on site Berts Pizza. One down side was the Wi-Fi as we could never get a signal in the lodge (it would have been 10's all the way otherwise). Would definitely not let this put me off (even though i am a techy) as every thing else made up for it as other places to get wi-fi. Go on treat yourself-once you have had a hot-tub you won't turn back.
Pauline
Everything was lovely only thing that let it down for us was reception closing at 4 so only berts to go to for a drink. Only sell bottles of beer and quite expensive .
Joan
Fourth time at Dacre Park. was a little disappointed in the water reed cabin, not as good as lilypad. Cabin its self was good, no complaints. But would have struggled with pots/pans/ fridge /freezer room if there had have been 6 people in the cabin.
Claire
Great holiday. Our daughter (7) loved it! Excellent clean well equipped lodge in beautiful setting. Hot tubs well maintained daily. Staff very helpful and friendly. Berts Pizzeria recommended but booking is a must. Will hopefully return in the near future. Would recommend to family and friends and not to far from York and Tge Deep in Hull.
Sue
we had a lovely relaxing peaceful weekend break, just a pity you cant walk in a full circle around the larger lake because of residential lodge
Richard
Very nice place enjoyed the break would go back definitely
Tracy
Had a brilliant time. However, the small pond needs all the floating weeds removing to enable fishing to be easier and more enjoyable. Very annoying when its something that could be easily fixed.
Zena
Lovely location. Spotlessly clean lodge. Hot tub checked daily
