It was really great. The only thing that would have made it even better was if our lodge that we stayed in (we were in the larger lodge) had sauna/hot tub facilities like a lot of the others.

Lodge was perfect for us but needed one more lamp near the telly area as a bit dark, unless you used the main light.

Good situation in a little row of lodges away from the main complex. Very quiet with good views across the water from the balcony. Handy for the laundry and access to the pub!

More then enough kitchen utensils, coffee and teas were greatly appreciated. Might be nice to have butter potions? And oil to cook with? Otherwise, was perfect!
Richard
Lovely lodge, very cosy. The underfloor heating was especially welcome over a very cold weekend. Easy access to Farnham, Guildford and Winchester. Lovely area to explore. Great pub within a matter of a few yards of the lodge.
Susan
Excellent location, very relaxing with a Pub on the doorstep, what more could you want.

Fantastic. Tilford Woods Lodge Retreat is a very small site. The staff are all very helpful and friendly. Giving directions to all the local heritage. Does not cater for children as no club house, or play area. This is the perfect place to recharge your batteries. Relax read books take in the peace and quiet. Go on long walks with your dog. As the place has wonderful walks on the doorstep. Would I go back. Definately A hidden gem

My husband and I just love it here. We have been several times over the last 10years and it's always top on our list when we are looking to go away.

this was our 3rd visit & we enjoyed our weekend break away of peace & quiet, we love the Cobbett traditional lodges with private hot tub & sauna. the lodges are always clean comfortable & warm with everything you could need for a relaxing weekend away. the staff do a grand job from quick check in process to going out of their way to accommodate to your needs with a friendly smile. we had as always booked a table for dinner at the duke of Cambridge pub just outside the grounds of the lodges, which was lovely as always. tilford woods has never disappointed us & this visit was no exception plus on every returning visit they have managed to add little bonuses to an already perfect retreat... wonderful. we recommend to all!
Samantha
We absolutely loved our stay at tilford woods. We stayed in a sturt waterside lodge which was perfect for our family of 4. 2 adults and 2 children. The lodge was extremely clean on arrival and we appreciated the small touches of water, tea and coffee and milk that we’re left for us. Tilford woods was in a great location, in stunning countryside. We used it as a base to visit London for a day which was really easy to reach from Farnham station. Only an hour by train and parking was no problem at the station. We also visited Hampton court and did some lovely woodland walks direct from the lodge. We can also recommend meals at the duke of Cambridge pub next door! Supermarket and facilities are within an easy 10 minute drive away. Would really recommend and would definitely go again to explore more of the area. Tip - look for duke of Cambridge pub when arriving and take lane that goes alongside that to get to the lodge resort. Tilford woods isn’t well signposted from the main road.
