These beautiful cottages have been beautifully restored from old Cornish farm buildings, and now feature contemporary design, light open plan interiors and cutting edge technology. They're only a short walk from the popular town of Looe - and not far from Polperro - so there is a good selection of shops, restaurant and pubs nearby.

Kilminorth Cottages have their own gorgeous gardens and an impressive outdoor swimming pool. An all-weather tennis court plus lovely walks through the woodland are also right on the doorstep. This is a lovely part of Cornwall and accessible to some major attractions, such as the Eden Project and Adrenaline Quarry, home of the longest zip wire in the UK.

Bridle Cottage sleeps up to five people over two storeys. It's bright, airy and comfortable with two luxury double bedrooms and one single room. The patio doors lead to a terrace with a barbecue, garden furniture and private outdoor hot tub.

As well as the many sporting activities - sailing, gliding, hot air ballooning - available in Cornwall, you could also spend a day meeting the primates at the Monkey Sanctuary in Looe.

Our Top Tip
"The Morewellham Quay Museum in Tavistock takes you underground to see for yourself the harsh working conditions of Victorian copper miners in a fantastic living history experience."

Accommodation type: Wharley Cottage
Wharley cottage is a lovely old 2 bedroom cottage very well modernised with every convenience you may want. Shower tray does need attention as is a bit uneven/warped.

A well thought out and comfortable holiday cottage, providing nearly everything we needed. Minor problems were quickly sorted after the first night, by the really friendly and helpful onsite team.

The cottage was lovely. Obviously pets are allowed on cottages and we didn't take pets so there quite a few pet hairs about but nothing on surfaces and general areas of required cleanliness.

The cottage was very clean and modern, and not too cramped. The only thing that needed attention was the floor in the shower which had air pockets underneath.

Great place to stay

This is our 5th visit to Kilminorth Farm over the past 20 years. The current owners have revamped the cottage we stayed in to a very high standard. The cottage was exceptionally clean and the gardens beautifully maintained. Our only very minor criticism is that it would be useful to have instructions as to how to work the heating and where to turn on towel rail etc. We worked it out without the need to ask but it did take a little while.
Oliver
Pretty much perfect. Staff were lovely and always on hand if needed. Well looked after cottages and a lovely location, surrounded by beautiful grounds. Will be returning.
CLAIRE
Very enjoyable week spent at Kilminorth cottages, we had visited previously in 2005 but the cottages have been much improved since then, with very stylish interiors. Good location to visit the surrounding area from, very handy for Looe itself with an enjoyable walk through the woods if you want to leave the car behind. Nice pool and loved the tennis court.
Emma
We had a wonderful stay here at the end of September. The cottage was beautiful and modern inside and the hot tub was a great extra. It was so well equipped and had everything you needed. It was so quiet and peaceful and in beautiful countryside. The only issue we had was the heating wasn't working great but Mark and Jayne were extremely helpful with this and sorted it out. Would definitely recommend.
Caroline
A lovely relaxing break after a very busy few weeks
Mark
It was very quiet, peaceful but close enough to go to Looe/Polperro if you wanted to . A car is a must because of the location.
Debby
Absolutely beautiful place 2 mins in the car to Looe and 10 mins to Polperro , amazing surroundings the only the that spoilt it was the weather , rained pretty much everyday we was there , but would definitely return
Sarah
The site was wonderful and idyllic with great views. The lady running it was really helpful, telling us about all the dog friendly beaches. The only downside was the single lane road to get there, especially on day 1 when we blindly followed the Satnav - the instructions that you get sent tell you they way to go for a reason!
Moira
We had a lovely stay at Kilminorth. The hot tub was a definite hit. I think the 3 bed cottages could do with another toilet/shower room, just a personal preference.
