The only detractors were the dead flies caught up in the curtain headings and two lights not working from start to finish of the holiday and concerns about carbon monoxide alarms not fitted. We assumed they were necessary as they had been supplied.

The caravan was lovely. It was clearly an older van as it was pet friendly but it suited us and was very clean and comfortable.

This is such a lovely site with a lovely local pub not too far away.

It was a little too far from beaches than we would have liked but gave us the opportunity to explore areas of Cornwall that we haven't previously.

Very very nice place, away from it all.
only did 3 nights, caravan was very clean and had everything we needed. water and heating was very hot. lovely shower. we were staying at the end of September so pool closed. we had no children so didn't use child games room. café closed too.
Excellent park, friendly helpful staff.
Had a very good time in Cornwall. Especially the stay was very tidy and very close to all the attractions, one of the best holiday park to spend time with friends and family.
A quiet short break was exactly what I wanted and it is exactly what I got.
beautiful location and very good accommodation.not much entertainment on sight for the older generation but plenty of interesting places to visit locally.a very enjoyable stay and very polite staff.
A lovely Location, very friendly staff, the kids loved the swimming pool, my husband loved the fishing, and a fantastic comfortable caravan with a great seating area outside on the decking.
A nice site well kept with very helpful staff. The caravan we stayed in was best described as tired but was well equipped and spotlessly clean.

Besides the beauty and unique atmosphere of the gardens there are also organised events to enjoy throughout the year including a Harvest Display, Wild Food Walks, Halloween and Christmas celebrations and Book Signings.
The Eden Project - about 6 Miles
The Eden Project is a fantastic local attraction in Cornwall which will appeal to families and couples.  From the moment you step through the entrance it's clear that this is no ordinary attraction.  All under one roof you will find a giant rainforest, Horticulture courses, rock climbing, ice skating and an arts cafe.  Not all of these activities are on at one time, they are staggered throughout the year so check out the website to see what's available when you plan to visit.  Autumn at Eden is very popular with events such as daily apple pressing and Time Changing Tales (story telling with an autumn theme).
Springfields Fun Park & Pony Centre offers a day full of action and adventure for all the family come rain or shine. If the weather is good then children can take advantage of the vast open space to run around and play, enjoy pony rides, train rides, trampolines and Go-Karts and explore the nature trails. If the weather is not on your side then the huge play barn is the place to head and as climbing frames, slides, ball pool and rope swings as well as a baby and toddler area.
Dairyland Farm World - about 8 Miles
Open from end March to end October this is a lovely attraction suited to families with kids of all ages.  You don't need to worry about the weather either as this is an all weather attraction with the addition of soft play areas and a ball pool for the little ones.  Some of the highlights include the Bull Pen indoor play area, the Raging Bulls Ride, Pat-aPet and the Mini tractors.  Of course there is also the opportunity to get up close to the farm animals and try some bottle feeding.
