Kentisbury Grange Country Park has much to offer both families and couples as well as groups of friends.  The lodges themselves are luxurious with spacious living areas and glass ceilings.  The private outdoor hot tubs command stunning views of the waterside, and make the most of the glorious setting.

One of the hidden gems in this region we can't recommend these lodges enough, especially for special occasions.  The Coach House Restaurant provides fresh, delicious food and will appeal to those who like fine dining.

The local area is beautiful with plenty to see and do. Some great family days out close by include The Big Sheep in Bideford and Combe Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur Park.  Of course you could just get out and enjoy the Exmoor National Park or the first class beaches and pretty villages close by.

The Kentisbury Lodge sleeps 4 and is a superb lodge with plenty of mod cons.  The living area has mood lighting and a rotating TV.  The master bedroom has a walk in shower, while the twin bedroom comes with en suite and free standing roll top bath.  The ipod docking station and luxury toiletries are just some of the things which show attention to detail, and make this lodge extra special.

Our Top Tip
"62 The Bank in Barnstable is a lovely restaurant serving both classic and modern dishes influenced by flavours from around the world - less then 8 miles from Kentisbury Grange Country Park."

The holiday lodge was amazing. The only niggle was that it's starting to show major wear and tear. The laminate floor is ripped and jagged in multiple places and catches shoes and socks - it would hurt bare feet. The bathroom floor was stained too. Other than that the lodge was amazing it just needs a bit of maintenance. It would have been nice if there was a little welcome package with things like butter and oil in small quantities etc as getting these for a short stay is difficult. I would stay here again.

Beautiful place to stay! Shame that the weather wasn't great, but that didn't matter as the lodge was stunning and more than made up for it. It is in a great location, in close proximity of lots of different places to visit, most within a 20 min drive max. All of the food that we ate everywhere we went was amazing and I would definitely recommend a trip to the Coach House Restaurant on the site as the food is incredible.

Brilliant lodges!!! Very happy. Great location for attractions and beaches for our son. The reservoir, just around the corner was well worth a visit for a walk/run. We have booked for next year too and recommended to our family!

The lodges are excellently presented and extremely comfortable.

The only (small) gripes are:
- Internet access is patchy (due to being Satellite delivered at the moment)
- Some of the technologies weren't usable such as DAB radio, Samsung Sound bar, iPod dock (old connector and no adaptor)
- No welcome pack (milk, bread etc) which would have been a nice touch

The staff were brilliant, so friendly and obliging Our stay was for my husbands 50th Birthday and he said it was the best birthday ever!!

The lodges are beautiful and extremely well equipped. The hot tub was checked whilst we were staying and it was great to go in even though the weather wasn't that kind to us.

An amazing lodge with everything you could want. A lovely hot tub in a great setting.

Loved our stay here 😊 weather was awful but the accommodation was beautiful. We were lucky to have one of the more secluded lodges with a duck pond right outside. Once the fog liftEd which was the last day πŸ˜”the views were amazing! 😊 We had a low season deal sadly this would be the only time of year we could afford to stay here. I would always look for a future random bargain. Especially if the same lodge could be guaranteed 😊

We had an excellent stay in one of the lodges. We were looking for a romantic weekend away to relax and escape the hussle and bussle of the real world. We certainly found this at Kentisbury Grange. The lodge was decked out with all the mod cons. The hot tub was glorious (even in the rain). The grounds and scenery were absolutely stunning and we have both agreed we would love to go back when the weather is better as I can imagine in the summer it is even more beautiful. The lodge itself was over large duck pond which ws very tranquol and we enjoyed watching the ducks taking off and landing in the pond! The only minor issue/detial was the fire didn't work but we didn't need it as the lodge was still cosey and warm. The bed was extremely comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed and was of high spec. The TV in the bathroom is a nice touch too.

My friend and I stayed in lodge 11 at Kentisbury grange. Lodge very high spec and modern, large lodge with two bedrooms with ensuites. Hot tub amazing. Our welcome from Rachael was lovely and warm, we were able to check in early. Beautiful surroundings by the water with ducks. Able to warm up by the log fire in the hotel after days out. Definitely recommend.
Megan
