Swanage Coastal Park blends peace and tranquility with all the facilities of a neighbouring park - and with the wonderful Jurassic Coast on your doorstep, you can enjoy stunning views and great days out with plenty of pretty little towns and villages to visit. Swanage is just a short walk away and both Bournemouth and Poole are within easy reach.

There's an indoor heated swimming pool and gym, a bar with evening entertainment and a great restaurant. Swanage is set around a beautiful curved bay with an award-winning beach front and surrounded by natural beauty and wildlife - Durlston Country Park has a multitude of walking trails and is one of the best bird and dolphin watching spots in the country.

For a luxurious stay in a lodge style holiday home, Signature 3 offers spacious accommodation for up to six people. It has a bath and separate shower, three bedrooms, one with an ensuite shower, and a large verandah with garden furniture, barbecue and outdoor hot tub.

The Dorset coastline offers clear air, stunning clifftop walks and a host of picturesque towns to explore. The Jurassic Coast has been designated a Natural World Heritage Site by UNESCO and the county is also home to some gorgeous stately homes, including Kingston Lacy House in Wimborne Minster and the beautiful Mapperton House and Gardens.

Beautiful location overlooks bay, with friendly staff on site to solve any concerns. Good local beach , just could have done with a little shop to buy a paper as quite a walk down to the high street.
Caravan much nicer than expected for pet owners and a proper cooker and fridge freezer enables good stock of food. Would come again if in the area.

It was a nice site and on the whole the caravan was great, the cleanliness wasn't as good as it could have been but the hoover didn't work at all. Our beds weren't made up but that was an accident and the gentleman who dealt with it all was very nice.

Usually takes me 3 days to unwind but Swanage coastal park is beautiful and relaxed the minute we got there. Cannot recommend enough.

Static was excellent value. Attention to detail in some areas of cleaning ie shower room and toilet in corners and behind taps could be better. That was our only issue.

Very nice van but low on drawer space. The shower needed a mat as the floor was very smooth.

A well managed park in a good location. We liked the fact that the leisure facilities were next door within a short walk as this meant the park was quiet.

Fun Days Out near Swanage Coastal Park

The perfect place to visit on a rainy day this large Sealife Centre is currently offering 2 tickets for £15.00 when you book online. Top attractions include the amazing shark tunnel, the rock pools and the otter enclosure. This year Loch Lomond Sealife Centre is also home to Cammy - the only Giant Sea Turtle in Scotland! The centre also offers visitors an educational experience with talks and hands on events taking place daily.
Monkey World - about 12 Miles
Monkey World is not only a local attraction but the work they carry out is amazing.  Rescuing and rehabilitating monkeys and assisting governments around the world to stop the smuggling of primates are just some of the purposes of the centre. You get to see the primates themselves many of which have become famous from appearing on the TV show Monkey World - a documentary about this place. Open year round we think this is one of best attractions in Dorset and you even get the chance to adopt a monkey if you choose.
Kingston Maurward Gardens and Animal Park is a magical place to visit with grand gardens and plenty of animals to meet.  From goats and ponies to alpacas and pot bellied pigs this attraction is excellent value for money.  You can feel free to explore the grounds too which are especially lovely on sunny days.  You will see majestic floral displays, stone terraces, a temple and even a lake.
Dorset Teddy Bear Museum - about 21 Miles
This family orientated museum is dedicated to Teddy Bears both old and new Edward Bear and his family of people sized bears are one of the main attractions.  You can buy teddy bear gifts from the quaint shop including top notch brands.  The Steiff Teddy Bear and Merrythought bears are very popular.  Open 7 days a week all year round (except 25th and 26th December) this is a perfect all weather place to visit.
