The striking ruins of Glastonbury Abbey sit within 36 acres of parkland with a museum, picnic areas and a cider orchard - perfect for a day trip.

New Oaks Lodge sleeps four people and has one double bedroom with ensuite and one twin room. There's a bath with overhead shower and a spacious open plan lounge/kitchen area. Patio doors lead out onto the decking where you can relax in the hot tub and enjoy the spectacular views across the Somerset countryside.

For a great day out, had to the Wookey Hole Caves and see if you can spot the infamous Witch of Wookey! There's lots for the kids to do, including a Magical Mirror Maze, superb play areas and stunning rock formations.

I had a really lovely time staying in the beach lodge. It was very clean and tidy and it had everything you needed. Gary and Laura were so friendly and showed us around the farm, it was really interesting and me and my boyfriend really enjoyed it! The hot tub was lush and well lit so easy to go in at night. Would 1000% recommend and we will definitely be returning again!

We had a lovely time away at New Oaks. We found the lodge extremely clean, well equipped and just delightful, it's also has great views of the countryside and the working farm. The outside hot tub was a very welcome addition and helped relax us after putting the kids to bed. The owners welcomed us to their farm and explained various things in detail on where to go and local facilities etc. We found the owners to be lovely and certainly made us feel welcome. This extends to when we got home, we received a Christmas card and definitely makes you feel a valued and appreciated guest. The location for the lodge is good, about an hour away from Bath, 20 minutes from Wells. It was a shame we were only there for 5 days, we could have stayed for much longer. Overall, a great lodge, great location, lovely owners and superb hot tub!

Overall this was an excellent place to stay and would definitely stay again. The only thing I would like to see in the lodges is some hooks on the walls and doors to hang coats and towels and I would also advise on some form of mat or rug for the front door for when you come in from the hot tub. However, these had only been open a few weeks so the couple were still finding their feet.

Fantasic place to stay could not recommend it enough can not wait to go back next year
Had a lovely holiday Gary and Laura are lovely.
The lodge was beautiful, very clean and comfortable.; Laura and Gary were very friendly and excellent hosts, nothing was too much trouble for them. The little touches were lovely ie cake on arrival, quiches that were made by Laura were beautiful. The hot tub was a bonus and in a very private position. The only downside for us was that the lodges were a little close to each other, hence no privacy. A bonus for us was no pets on site, but on the whole an excellent holiday. We have already booked for next year.
Had a lovely time... lovely lodge and beutiful views from the Hot tub.. definitely stay here again.
Loved the lodge. Great couple couldn't do enough for us.

Had a fab 4 days .the lodge is stunning and impeccably clean .Laura and Gary were so helpful and told us about local places to visit .We had a tour around the farm and also fed the lambs .I feel they go above and beyond. We have stayed in many lodges and this is by far the best we even had cake waiting for us on arrival and eggs and milk .We are returning in Feb 2018 . Thanks again. Tracy and Garry.
We had a lovely, peaceful break here with beautiful views and a stunning lodge. Thank you to Laura and Gary, we are already planning our return!
Laura and Gary were great, very welcoming nothing was too much trouble. There eggs, bacon and sausages are a must. The beef is really tasty, they have there own cattle, pigs, sheep and chickens. We will definitely be going back , great country side and lots of interesting places and things to do. Its a credit to them.
Had a great time Laura & Gary were great host and made the time extra special with inviting us to see the new born lambs and the other farm animals our son loved it. The lodge was bright, clean and had everything we needed.
