The kitchen area was a little dated. Struggled with the high kitchen cabinets that kept closing on us.

Lovely lodge but expensive. Only recommendation is to provide coal for bbq or available to buy and put a gate at the side of the lodges for child and pet safety.

Stunning cottage in a gorgeous location. Exceeded our expectations!
Very pleasant setting, good facilities and excellent log cabin.
It was a lovely lodge with great facilities, but one of the rooms was a bunk bed, which I didn't think had been particularly clearly outlined. In addition, there was very little provision for waste and bins. The main bins were at the other end of the resort and there was nowhere for us to easily recycle at the lodge and no bin bags were provided. For 8 people this is unhelpful.
Fantastic pool could stay open abit longer
Lovely location and a very clean well kept accomodation.
A lovely spacious lounge with modern fittings, overlooking a lake, very quiet and relaxing Lodge no: 3 was suitable for our wheelchair and the dog loved it. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Would recommend it to any one that wants nature and doesn't want on site entertainment.
Fantastic stay at Penvale Lakes Lodges! Great location for exploring North Wales, particularly Snowdonia. 5 minutes from Llangollen itself. Can't wait to go back.
