In an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty on the edge of the Lincolnshire Wolds, this peaceful retreat sits within the parkland of the Laceby Manor Golf Club. Grimsby and Hull with their maritime pasts and the history and culture of Lincoln are all close by as are any number of pretty little market towns and villages.

Enjoy a round of golf at Laceby Manor, dine in the á la carte restaurant and spend your evenings relaxing in your own private hot tub. From Laceby, you can drive to Hubbard's Hill, a local beauty spot, or head to Belchford for a walk and a bite to eat in The Blue Bell Inn, an excellent local pub. Just a few miles away, the beach at Cleethorpes has literally miles of golden sand.

Belfry is the ultimate couple's retreat; it's a decadent one bedroom lodge with a large master bedroom, a freestanding bath and patio doors that lead out onto decking with your own private hot tub. It's contemporary and beautifully styled, with an open plan kitchen and living area and luxury outdoor furniture.

The Ale Trail is a fun way to sample traditional Yorkshire ale at some ancient hostelries, such as Ye Olde Black Boy which dates back to 1337.

Our Top Tip
"Pleasure Island in Cleethorpes is an excellent theme park with over 50 rides and attractions, and Wilberforce House in Hull is the oldest anti-slavery museum in the world."

The attention to detail in the kitchen was well thought through. We had plenty of serving dishes and utensils and even dishwasher and washing tablets and washing up liquid were provided.

We did however have an unresolved issue with a shower in one of the bathrooms which meant we had to share for the duration of our stay.

Fantastic lodge, looks brand new. Could benefit from labelling the several door keys so guests don't have to trial each key in every door.
Well furnished
Laura
Lovely peaceful surroundings the lodge itself was clean and so was the hot tub . The restaurants serve amazing food and the staff are amazing will be returning at some point .

brilliant weekend away
Ruth
Well equipped lodge and good golf.
Gillian
The setting is lovely, the reason I have not given a ten is that the cabins are so close you can see into other cabins. The bathroom directly leading to the hot tub is far better than other ones I have stayed in where you have to walk through the living room to get a shower before and after using the hot tub. They could do with a bit if a make over but it was the end of the season so I would think they will get spruced up in quieter months. The girls in the office were helpful and friendly .overall a good week
Stephen
Do not be pout off by the fact the site is on a golf course, it does not matter if you are a golfer or not the site is situated in lovely and peaceful countryside which is perfect for relaxing and unwinding.
Judith

Faye
We had a wonderful few days, lodge was just what we wanted ,well equipped kitchen and was all very clean ,we loved the hot tub, could have done with that outside area being a bit larger
Clare
This place is fabulous!
Kelly
Beautiful resort, cabins are just what you expect with everything you need but food and drinks. We were however disappointed in the service at the restaurant in the main building. It was very disorganised and we pretty much had to ask to be served as if it was not normal protocol! Would stay here again inspite of this but would not give it 10/10 for this reason.
Marvin
Fantastic weekend would deffo recommend

Fun Days Out near The Manor Resort

The Jungle Zoo - about 5 Miles
Centred around a Tropical House in an amazing jungle like setting this is a really unique attraction that will appeal to families.  In the Cleethorpes area of Lincolnshire it's easy to get to and offers a fun yet educational experience.  Referred to as the number one attraction in the area highlights include capuchin monkeys, meerkats, ring tailed lemur and for the children African pygmy goats.  The tropical house features Red Eared and other Terrapins from North America and goldfish amongst other things.  We think The Jungle Zoo represents excellent value for money too.  We recommend a whole day to explore this attraction and ensure you get to see all of the animals resident there.
Pleasure Island - about 6 Miles
Wow this is an amazing family theme park and you will probably need the full day to experience it all.  From thrilling rides to family shows, kids of all ages are catered for.  Some of the most popular rides include the Obliterator and The Pendulus, not forgetting the Hypoblaster.   Family shows are entertaining such as the African Acrobat Show which is back by popular demand.  Entrance tickets are good value and if you book online you will receive a discount. To save even more money if you live locally or are visiting the area for a few weeks you could buy a season ticket for around £50 which will allow you entry for the whole season.
Rushmoor Country Park - about 13 Miles
Located in Louth in Lincolnshire this is an ideal attraction when you want to get out in the fresh air and explore. There are many animals to see including ponies and piglets which the little ones love.  There are also some amazing birds from hawks and falcons to owls.  Most aspects of this attraction are included in the admission cost and as well as wandering around you get to hold and feed the animals too.  A real highlight are the micro pigs which are just like real pigs but in miniature.  Fully grown they are around the size of a spaniel!  If you get hungry then you can take your own picnic to the picnic areas or head for the tea room selling delicious food and children's meals too.
The Deep - about 16 Miles
Easily accessible from our Yorkshire Dales lodge parks is The Deep! An award-winning 'submarium', attraction, which is home to over 3500 fish from around the globe. Visitors can a stroll through Europe's deepest viewing tunnel and take a thrilling a glass lift ride through the 10m deep tank. The Deep is also home to the world's largest exhibition, featuring weird animals from the depths combined with slime! Educational talks and events take place daily so visitors can learn about the conservation projects which the centre is involved in. There is also a fantastic restaurant over looking some of the displays and a souvenir shop. Family tickets are priced at just 32.00.
