This charming and unique riverside retreat provides a tranquil and relaxing holiday base in the Norfolk Broads.  With a location in one of the area's most historic villages, Brundall,  and riverside views from the living rooms, it's easy to see how you can switch off here and get right into holiday mode.

Brundall itself is well worth exploring.  You'll find a host of amenities here including fantastic restaurants and some good traditional pubs.  The area is famed as a boat building centre.  A little further afield you'll find lively Great Yarmouth and cosmopolitan Norwich for excellent days out.

The cottages have immaculate interiors with open plan living areas and of course the icing on the cake - a private outdoor hot tub.  The Cuckoo Cottage sleeps 4 with one double bedroom and additional sleeping for 2 in the lounge area.  The Nightinggale Cottage is ideal for larger families with 2 double bedrooms.  The Kingfisher Cottage sleeps 5 and has a double and single bedroom.

The reviews from previous customers say it all, describing the location as "amazing" and the cottages as "absolutely fantastic" and "beautiful, clean and very homely".  Many reviewers have commented that they can't wait to go back!

Our Top Tip
"If you love the outdoors then don't forget to visit one of the many nature reserves around the stunning Broad's waterways."

This was a lovely break for me and my partner. We loved the location and the hot tub was an added bonus. Perfect for a relaxed weekend of chilling! The cottage had everything you needed and the local area had everything you needed to top up in the form of a co-op. It was in a lovely setting. Would recommend to others and would defiantly come again to stay!!

Lovely place to stay. The one possible drawback is that if 5 people stayed, no separate toilet could be an issue as there is only the one bathroom. We did not have an issue as there were only the two of us.

Absolutely perfect weekend break especially with the use of the hot tub!!! The only thing missing was a mop!!! Weird I know but would have been good to mop up the water after using the hot tub, very small request!!! 🤗

I would love to give a 10, just a couple of little snags , you had to walk around back of cottage to hot tub, the heating was not very warm down stairs, however we will return .

A lovely cottage that was well presented and modern. Would definitely consider staying again and recommending to friends.
Dawn
Absolutely loved it here, so peaceful with beautiful surroundings and the cottage with the hot tub were perfect. We have already booked again for September!
Amie
Fab location and amazing views from the cottage. Great access to the broads and we hired a boat locally. The cottage provided everything that was needed for a weekend away and the hot tub was very new and worked perfectly. As 5 people the cabin was ok, I think the cabin for 6 would be a bit of a squeeze and with only one bathroom it takes a bit longer to get ready in the morning.
Jenny
Brilliant trip away, relaxing, gorgeous views! Perfect place to go if you want some time to relax!
Doris
We really enjoyed our stay as 2 couples sharing a second shower room and toilet would have been the icing on the cake lovely cottage
Laura
Lovely place for our honeymoon. Definitely need a car as there's not much around the area.
Simon
Superb apartment, good location, marvellous holiday
Andrew
Fabulous getaway. Clear directions, warm welcome at reception. The owner showed us how to work the hot tub, net flicks etc. Stunning decor, with the beautiful views it really was a wonderful few days away. We walked one day into the village. There was a nice co-op but otherwise not much there. We drove to Wroxham to go on the broads. Mainly we wanted to recharge our batteries so spent peaceful hours reading, in the hot tub, or just gazing at the river with a glass of wine in hand. The cottage was extremely well equipped. Highly recommended and we hope to be back.
Brenda

MICHAEL
A great top quality holiday home in a quite location, a bonus was the railway platform into Norwich. Would be great if you were able to hire a boat.

Fun Days Out near Yare View Holiday Cottages

Bewilderwood - about 6 Miles
Bewilderwood is a fun day out for the whole family located in the Wroxham area of Norfolk.  This imaginative adventure park has won awards and we think kids especially will love the characters and the magical tree houses. You can even book your ticket online and beat the queues by visiting their website where you can also view video clips of the park. This place is also the setting for the book 'A Boggle at BeWILDerwood', by local children's author Tom Blofeld.  Parents are not left out either as you're encouraged to take part and play alongside your children.
Dinosaur Adventure Park - about 13 Miles
This fun family day out has been well planned and we think is certainly worth a visit.  New for 2010 is the PrimEvil at Dinosaur Adventure.  Other fun activities include the Dinosaur Trail, Arachnophobia, the Raptor Races and the adventure play area.  The secret animal garden is also popular.  You can play a role in wildlife conservation and sponsor an animal if you wish.  At the moment if you sign up for their newsletter there is a chance to win a family ticket.
Pleasurewood Hills Theme Park is an amazing 50 acres area of stunning coastal parkland and is packed with family friendly rides and attractions. This park is an excellent choice for families with children of varied ages as there are a number of small rides for the little ones as well as some adrenaline boosting white knuckle rides for teenagers. As well as rides the site hosts some fantastic shows including the ever popular Sea Lion and Parrot encounters. At Halloween, Christmas and Easter other themed shows can also be enjoyed.  The site also has a good range of places to eat and drink whether you are looking to spend a leisurely hour relaxing with a meal or just grab a quick snack.
Africa Alive - about 18 Miles
Africa Alive is one of Suffolk's largest attractions and one of the most popular in the whole of the UK.  The Africa themed park is very unique and gives visitors the chance to see some amazing creatures in a habitat which is as close to nature as possible. The park can be explored by car and on foot and Hyenas and Giraffes are just some of the animals you will encounter as you make your way around the park. Watch out for the lightning fast Cheetahs and keep your eyes peeled to spot the more reclusive creatures. During a day at Africa Alive there will be plenty of shows and educational talks taking place and if the weather turns then the indoor Adventure Play Ground comes in very handy. The site also has a well stocked Gift Shop and a Discovery Centre.
