Lovely lodge very comfortable and clean.
Lovely lodge, Malcolm met us at the gate and showed us to the lodge which was really impressive with fresh flowers and biscuits a lovely touch, The sauna and hot tub was fab after a day out touring, the lodge itself was really clean and full of mod cons, had what I thought was a radio turned out it was a speaker you plugged your phone into?
Would defiantly be back next year.

Lovely stay, the only strange thing is having to bring your own towels when bedding and robes are inclusive.
Friendly staff, really helpful when we had minor issue with heating . Also checked following day that all was ok . Location great for us as we met up with family in Gloucester.
If I could score 11/10 I would!
Very comfortable lodge, warm and well equipped. Lovely hot tub. Great walks with our dog.
Excellent accommodation, freindly staff, hot tub was in excellent condition and cleaned and maintained regularly, will be coming back again. Only downfall was the frying pan was too small to fit enough bacon in for breakfast :)
A lovely, very well equipped cabin and in excellent condition. Would not fault our stay at all. Would highly recommend for a quiet holiday.
Absolutely brilliant hot tub in the snow the perfect week my wife and I needed with a trip to London thrown in to see a show

Puzzlewood is a somewhat unique attraction within the beautiful Forest of Dean. Visitors can explore the mile of pathways passing over wooden bridges and through some stunning tree and rock formations. The maze of pathways are quite enchanting and the site has recently been used as a location for the BBC1 production of Merlin. While enjoying the splendour of nature there are many types of wildlife to meet along the way including Shetland ponies, Donkeys and Highland Cattle. A Hocus Pokus Halloween event takes place from the 24th to the 31st of October.
Lamas are gentle, affectionate and unique animals and Lama Trekking is fast becoming a popular family attraction. At Old king Street Farm you can spend the day with the charming creatures and enjoy feeding them, grooming them and having a stroll through the woodland. Lamas are not ridden but they can carry all the picnic essentials including tables and chairs! Lama Treks around the stunning Black Mountains are also available.
Queenswood Country Park has a stunning location offering panoramic views of the countryside. The area is abundant with wildlife and you can see how many species you can spot while enjoying the nature trails. The park also has a large children play area and a licensed café. Seasonal activities can be enjoyed during school holidays and at peak times of the year including Halloween events and crafting sessions as well as ranger led walks.
Spetchley Park and Gardens in Worcestershire are the perfect place for a day trip all year round. During the summer months the gardens are really at their best with beautiful displays of flora and fauna. Many families choose to bring a picnic and there are several picnic tables in the grounds. The deer park is also a big hit with children as well as grown ups. The onsite tea room serves tasty sandwiches and cakes and uses local produce where possible.
