Jamies Cragg Holiday Park
Close to bustling market towns, pretty villages and the stunning Yorkshire Moors, Jamies Cragg Holiday Park is a superb location for a secluded, relaxing break. It's a few minutes' walk from the River Derwent, 20 minutes drive from York, and there's a beautiful woodland walk just behind the park. There are also some really good local pubs within easy reach.
There are a number of really lovely picnic spots around the park - and plenty of river and lake fishing. The village of Welburn has loads of interesting shops, pubs and a delightful Artisan bakery. Castle Howard is just a few miles away and there's lots to do in York, including a visit to Sutton Park and York Minster, England's largest Gothic church.
These contemporary lodges have outdoor hot tubs and are well designed and spacious. Limestone Lodge sleeps four - it has one double bedroom with ensuite, a twin room, shower room and a light and airy open plan living/dining/kitchen area. Patio doors lead to a verandah with a private hot tub and garden furniture.
Plan some great days out in North Yorkshire. York Dungeons certainly aren't for the faint-hearted, set in dark, musty cellars with life size tableaux of deaths and persecutions!

Spacious and contemporary lodge with one double with ensuite shower and two twin. Open plan lounge/kitchen/dining area with doors leading to verandah with outdoor hot tub.
The lodge was clean, well equipped and comfortable. It was surrounded by trees with a great hot tub and outdoor eating area. It is also in a good place for visiting the surrounding area. The only downside for us was the traffic noise. The lodge is situated 50 yards from the busy A64 so there is no escaping the traffic noise which is almost constant. We book lodges hopefully to have some peace and tranquillity and sadly this was not the case. So purely for this reason we wouldn't return.
There was a tv in every bedroom and the front room, there was also a DVD player in the living room.
The two twin bedrooms are lovely and the beds can be pushed together to make a double, the main bathroom was very spacious and had a bath and shower. The main bedroom was lovely with an en-suite bathroom and heated towel rail.
The beds are very comfy and at the start of your stay there was fresh towels on each bed and clean bedding. These were not changed throughout our stay but it really didn't bother us. And if you wanted clean towels there is a washing machine outside.
Overall I can't really complain about anything other than the wine cooler being broken and the oven being gas which I wasn't used to, however these aren't major things and wouldn't put me off going back here.
There is also a lovely working electric fire in the front room and central heating.
Beautiful lodge with everything you could need for a home from home holiday. The kitchen was fully equipped, the hot tub well maintained and the beds extremely comfortable.
Fantastic we will be back again
Brilliant acomodation for the money, plenty of room for 6 people, modern interior and well kept cleanliness wise.
Lovely lodge every thing you need

The lodge was very nice and looks exactly like the pictures. It had extras which weren't listed in the description like an iron and ironing board, washing machine and mop etc.
It is right next to the road (A64) however the noise didn't bother us it wasn't too loud and there was practically no noise at all at night which was good.
I would stay here again, it's really good value for money and a lively place to stay.
We were 25 minutes away from York city centre which I highly recommend as it is gorgeous with plenty of things to do. Scarborough is about 45 minutes away but still very nice. Local supermarkets are in malton and about 10/15 minutes away so very handy.
Beautiful setting for our first family holiday with new baby. There is a cute little park to the side of the lodges with swings/slides etc which our 9 year old loved to play on.
Although we were situated just to the side of the A64 the traffic noise was barely noticeable.
We had a great week will be staying again next year!
Perfect, very clean. Lovely site :)
Great location had great week hot tub fab
Fabulous place, great location, best holiday ever
We stayed in the sandstone lodge for 4 nights. The lodge was beautiful and the hot tub was amazing! only down fall would be the hot tub water did not get changed throughout our stay and the site is very quiet no shop on site nearest shops are a 10 minute drive into malton.
Great location and surroundings. Limestone Lodge was beautiful and decorates to a very high standard.
Very comfortable with everything you would possibly need.
Staff were very helpful.
This lodge was beautiful and excellent value for my money, I would highly recommend for a relaxing break
