"We have had some experiences with cabins/lodges being on top of each other with no privacy on other holidays however this location is perfectly private and well thought out. The Lodge had everything we could have needed for our 3 day break and the hot tub was cleaned daily by lovely staff. Bonus for my husband was that they had Wrexham on tap at the restaurant with lovely outdoor seating. We were able to walk the canal with the dog from the lodge which was perfect. The shower water pressure could be stronger and the oven was slow to reach temperature however these were minor in a beautiful setting."

"As detailed before, the lodge us equipped with everything you need and more. From the fluffy towels, bathrobes and elemis toiletries to everything you need in the kitchen to prepare a meal! Logs are ready to be lit and the hot tub gets serviced every day. I think these week long breaks are incredible good value for money. We have paid more for caravan holidays in large commercialised holiday parks and have not been no where near as good!"

"We recently visited this lodge for the second time in 2024 and we still think its a great spot. The place is nicely located and offers plenty of privacy, which we really appreciate. The lodge itself is super comfy - perfect for relaxing. We arrived early and decided to grab lunch, but unfortunately, there was a power cut. Shannon, a young waitress, was fantastic - she took the time to explain what was going on, even though no one else did. She was really engaging and professional, definitely an asset to the team. Beth checked us in and was lovely - friendly, efficient and polite. Later that evening, when there was another power cut, Beth came by to make sure we were okay. Thankfully, they had a generator, so no further issues. Weve already booked again for 2025 - cant wait!"

"This was our second visit in 2024 to this lodge. It's well positioned and private. The lodge is extremely comfortable. We had lunch as we were early and during this time unfortunately there a power cut I would commend Shannon a young lady who i believe is a waitres who took the time to explain what was happening despite noone else commenting. She was very engaging and professional an asset to you. We were booked in by Beth who was very friendly efficient and polite. When later in the evening there was a further power cut she came and checked we were okay. Also to add these power cuts were out of their control and they subsequently had a generator and there were no further issues. We have booked again for 2025 its fab."

"We had a really lovely stay at this lodge. Its such a warm and inviting place and the space was perfect for relaxing. The best bit was parking right outside - made unpacking so much simpler. The location in the woods was gorgeous and having the bins just underneath saved us a trip around the park. Beds were super comfy and the bathrooms were well stocked with all the toiletries we needed. Definitely recommended!"

"A lovely, warm, cozy and spacious lodge set in beautiful woodland. I really liked that we could park the car right outside the lodge too - it made unpacking much easier. I also like that the bin & ash bin was just underneath the lodge so we didnt have wander round the park to get rid of rubbish. The beds were super comfy and bathrooms had soap, body wash, shampoo & conditioner provided."

"Absolutely stunning place. Me my husband and 2 daughters had the best time the grounds are beautiful the lodges and cabins are stunning too. The staff really made us feel welcome and included our girls they loved going to the restaurant for dinner ice cream and drinks. Really lovely place to sit in the evening. Of course the sun helped but we felt like we was abroad it had that kind of feel about it. The only thing I can think that is needed is maybe a little a shop on site just for the basics but Tesco is only a 10 minute drive away so it’s not to bad. Overall 1 of the best log cabin holidays we have done by far. Thank you to all the staff."

After just returning from a 4 night stay in the White Lilac lodge I have to say I was completely bowled over by the professionalism of Henlle Hall, firstly the staff, from Paul who maintains the hot tubs, his friendly professional manner and helpful knowledge of the area to Allan, Amber and the bar/restaurant staff who were always happy to help and tentative.
The lodge on arrival looked stunning from the outside, the real wow factor and inside certainly didn’t disappoint, we have stayed in many lodges but this was by far the best. The estate is well thought out, felt away from it all in such beautiful surroundings. Cannot wait to return."

All lodges are so private and not over looked which I loved. Perfect location and only £9 for a taxi into the town and they came direct to the lodge. Will definitely be returning!"
