Absolutely FANTASTIC. The lodge itself was stunning. Beautifully furnished. Kitchen was kitted out with top of the range appliances and every utensil known to man. We had a lovely welcome pack that contained a bottle of bubbly sweets snacks and even doggy treats. And to top it all off our own private hot tub. We will definitely be going back.

Beautiful lodge, tucked in the corner with the hot tub overlooking the green, spotlessly clean and lovely touches such as robes, slippers and even a bottle of bubbly on arrival! Me and my husband loved it so much we have already booked again for later this year!

Friendly and helpful greeting, made to feel very welcome. You are slightly overlooked by other lodges but it's not intrusive. The green keeps of the golf course are very keen with their lawn mowers, especially around 8am!
The lay out of the lodge is great, it is easy to relax. I would score it a full 10 if the hot tub was covered but it rained for some of our visit so we left the covers on and stayed in doors.
The decking could do with a little restain or varnish but didn't look unkept, not a big deal.

The fishing lake is also the duck pond. The ducks will chase your float so unless you have patience or using a swimfeeder I wouldn't bother. Fish are shy and doesn't resemble a standard commercial lake but I had a 7-10lb carp on a whip but snapped me up but nothing after that.
Overall, a great lodge in a good area to explore. Nice walk along the canal to the Poachers.

Lodges are in such a lovely, peaceful setting. Keeta and her team are so welcoming and friendly, so much to do in the area and lovely walks along the nearby canal. Would definitely recommend these lodges!

I would like to review the woodpecker lodge for you but unfortunately we were given under the oak, which was very nice but we requested woodpecker because we had stayed in it the previous year and loved the views of the golf course. We were a little disappointed at first but we are not people who complain and accepted what we were given. I have to say under the oak is very private but did keep the sun out most of the day but hey you can't have everything, overall we had a great time and booked again for September the staff are very welcoming and Toby the young man who keeps the tubs up to scratch is a top guy I enjoyed our morning chats.

Stayed here for my partners 30th in July. Such an amazing place! The location is so quiet and tranquil. We had our dog with us and he loved it. Lots of places to walk him and with a duck pond right outside our lodge was just amazing! The lodge itself was perfect and so clean. Absolutely not a complaint to be said. As for Keeta the owner of the lodges she was amazing, couldn't have been more helpful or accommodating. When we arrived we had a birthday cake, balloons and banners in the lodge. Can't thank you enough Keeta for an amazing weekend we had. We couldn't have asked for more. You are truly amazing. Can't wait to come back! Have recommended this place to everyone. Thanks again xxx
Walter
The Fairway Lodge was superb the attention to every detail in the lodge by the owners Keeta & Cosmo was brilliant. Due to it's elevated position like a tree house we had a great view of the golf course. It's the best Hoseasons lodge we've every stayed at with lovely walks along the canal paths to the Lions Quay for good food & drink & a only a 10min walk back to the lodges. Great places to visit in the area like Chirk Castle,The British Ironworks and further a field is Chester, Liverpool and Cheshire Oaks the designer outlet village for some great bargains 😊😊😊
Christopher
Lovely place to stay. Amazing facilities and definitely recommended to others and I will also be visiting again.
