On first impressions the site was not what we expected, looked like a small housing estate rather than holiday cottages but we soon got into the holiday spirit when we tried the hot tub. The cotage was a good size with 2 decent bedrooms. The location was great too, the whole of yorkshire easy to get to.
Date of stay: 19th February 2018

Date of stay: 4th November 2017
We have a lovely holiday
We visited the John Bull rock factory Bridlington beach, the bird sanctuary which is literally a 3 minute drive from the accomodation.
We also visited Scarbourgh, Whitby and Robin Hoods Bay.
We have booked to come here again next year. Lie a home from home.
Date of stay: 3rd November 2017
lovely bungalow, the bathroom needs some attention, eg new sealant round bath and new
bath panel required.
Date of stay: 30th October 2017

Lovely cottage in a quiet area. The only downside is the peacocks which roam around and make a lot of noise in the early hours!

Date of stay: 17th July 2017
lovely relaxing weekend. staff were very friendly. we arrived early but everything was ready for us. loved the accommodation it was very clean and well maintained. would certainly go back. very good value for money.
nice clean place, good location to get to other places. hot tub was clean and was hot for our arrival, will come again.
The room was lovely about 5 minute drive to the beach and shops. Also nice and quiet, although i would like to add for anybody about to book, the picture of the outside is wrong and a bit missleading as it doesn't have a hot tub make sure you read all the descriptions. Thanks
We loved this stay and would come again due to afford ability it won’t be till end of the year
Great value for money, only downfall for me was having to leave at 10am following morning. Also there was no chlorine put in our hot tub on the Sunday which resulted in us not using this faciltiy on our last night.
Also, It could be improved if around the cottage it was more private, Other than this the weekend away was great value for money.
We will definitely be booking again
Absolutely lovely little bungalow. Its kept clean and we'll equipped. The hot tub is amaze!! And the peacocks saying hello is a bonus. They are harmless and pretty! Jane the site manager couldnt do enough for us. Shops are within 5mins drive. Would definately reccomend and would definately come again. Thanks
Excellent , This was our 3 time we have stayed in number 7 , And we will be booking again ..
Just perfect. We had a wonderful long weekend here the accommodation was clean modern and the hot tub was wonderful. The manager was extremely welcoming and accommodating. Perfect for a relaxing getaway we loved the peacocks in the garden. There was plenty to do in this lovely part of the country
The value for money on this cottage was brilliant! The staff really friendly and helpful and the cottage was well equipped with all you could need. The beds were comfy and the location great! We would defo recommend to anyone
Betton Farm Visitor Centre is the ideal attraction close to the North Yorkshire coastal town of Scarborough. This animal farm has all the cute farm animals you would expect to see and will appeal to younger children especially. A great place to both play and learn we think the Betton Farm Visitor centre is great value for money. Check out their website for the latest opening times and admission costs. Some of the highlights of the day might include meeting Sofie the Shetland Pony and Henry the goat, as well as the pot bellied pigs called Porky and Hammy.
This attraction is ideal for sunny days as the beautiful park is ideal for wandering out and taking in the scenery. You can hire boats including rowing boats and canoes to enjoy the views from the water. The pedalos with the dragon heads are always a popular choice too. Look out for special events including the Battle of Peasholm Park Naval Battle which has been described as a "must see". You can also take a ride on the North Bay Railway which will delight children.
If you are enjoying a lodge break in the Yorkshire Moors and Coast then a day trip to the Scarborough Sea Life and Marine Sanctuary highly recommended. This centre is one of the regions most popular attractions and is educational as well as fun. Visitors will enjoy a journey beneath the waves, meeting many strange, beautiful and fascinating creatures of the deep. As well as mighty sharks and beautiful rays guests can get up close to some more common creatures including star fish and can also meet the otters, seals and penguins at feeding time. The site also has children's play area and picnic tables as well as a restaurant and souvenir shop. Family tickets cost £46.80 but the Tourist Information Centres in Scarborough, Whitby or Filey often offer fantastic discounts.
Located in the Scalby Mills area of Scarborough this makes a fun family day out for those who are interested in marine life. The fantastic ocean tank is well worth seeing - it's been transformed into a Turtle Reef and you can see an amazing array of colourful reef fish and coral. You may also catch a glimpse of the tropical sharks and turtles. Offering good value for money this is a day out with a difference and an all weather attraction.
