Carnaby Heritage Park Reviews

On first impressions the site was not what we expected, looked like a small housing estate rather than holiday cottages but we soon got into the holiday spirit when we tried the hot tub. The cotage was a good size with 2 decent bedrooms. The location was great too, the whole of yorkshire easy to get to.

My fiance and myself stayed here for the first time at the beginning of May and we both absolutely loved it. The location of the accommodation was in a perfect location with so much on our doorstep. We visited so many beautiful places and can safely say that we will definitely book here again. We are both huge animal and wildlife lovers and to see so many friendly and content peacocks roaming around was lovely as was wakening to the sounds of their calls every morning. Such a lovely place to stay. I would recommend Bridlington holiday cottages to anyone who is thinking about holidaying in this area.

Great place. The only thing i would say is take earplugs as the peacocks wake u up around 3 30! But lovely clean cottages and great hot tub!
Caroline
Perfect base for exploring the Yorkshire coast. Clean, spacious villa with the added bonus of a hot tub. Would definitely look to stay again if visiting the area.

These holiday bungalows are great if you want a quiet, relaxing holiday but close to the beach. The location is great, we don't like big noisy busy places and so Bridlington Holiday Cottages are ideal for us. The park & ride car park is great as it is only 5 minutes away, close enough for several trips to the beach & then back to the bungalow for coffee! There is lots to see & do if you want to venture out, we went to RSPB Bempton to see the nesting birds. Close by is a great pub, The Lobster Pot, with a lovely beer garden for doggies. We will definitely be back again.

This was our second stay at Bridlington Holiday Cottages and we intend to come back again. Lovely peaceful location but still close enough to walk into Brid. Cottage was clean and lovely as it was the last time.
Rebecca

Fun Days Out near Bridlington Holiday Cottages

Betton Farm Visitor Centre is the ideal attraction close to the North Yorkshire coastal town of Scarborough. This animal farm has all the cute farm animals you would expect to see and will appeal to younger children especially.  A great place to both play and learn we think the Betton Farm Visitor centre is great value for money.  Check out their website for the latest opening times and admission costs.  Some of the highlights of the day might include meeting Sofie the Shetland Pony and Henry the goat, as well as the pot bellied pigs called Porky and Hammy.
Peasholm Park - about 17 Miles
This attraction is ideal for sunny days as the beautiful park is ideal for wandering out and taking in the scenery.  You can hire boats including rowing boats and canoes to enjoy the views from the water.  The pedalos with the dragon heads are always a popular choice too. Look out for special events including the Battle of Peasholm Park Naval Battle which has been described as a "must see".  You can also take a ride on the North Bay Railway which will delight children.
If you are enjoying a lodge break in the Yorkshire Moors and Coast then a day trip to the Scarborough Sea Life and Marine Sanctuary highly recommended. This centre is one of the regions most popular attractions and is educational as well as fun. Visitors will enjoy a journey beneath the waves, meeting many strange, beautiful and fascinating creatures of the deep. As well as mighty sharks and beautiful rays guests can get up close to some more common creatures including star fish and can also meet the otters, seals and penguins at feeding time. The site also has children's play area and picnic tables as well as a restaurant and souvenir shop. Family tickets cost 46.80 but the Tourist Information Centres in Scarborough, Whitby or Filey often offer fantastic discounts.
Sea Life Marine Sanctuary - about 18 Miles
Located in the Scalby Mills area of Scarborough this makes a fun family day out for those who are interested in marine life. The fantastic ocean tank is well worth seeing - it's been transformed into a Turtle Reef and you can see an amazing array of colourful reef fish and coral. You may also catch a glimpse of the tropical sharks and turtles. Offering good value for money this is a day out with a difference and an all weather attraction.
