Lovely Lodge. The activity centre was busy and we did not realise we could not walk around the centre as all areas were restricted. There was no sun shade and when we help ourselves to a shade we found the stand was also broken. The restaurant shuts early (last orders at 5:30pm) so we did not use it.

Beautiful lodge in a quiet location. Staff very helpful, requests dealt with quickly.

We stayed in typhoon 1 double bedroom lodge. We was not disappointed as the sauna, Jacuzzi bath and hot tub were magnificent. The staff are very friendly and always helpful. Perfect holiday for relaxing, even having a picnic on the grassed areas of the lodge. However please ignore all these positive comments as we don't want too many people knowing how good it is.. Then we would have trouble booking :-) Having said that, book early to avoid disappointment..
Jade
The lodge was lovely, a perfect size for our family and very clean. Our children were too small for the activities but loved the soft play. I felt the site was a bit too quiet for us during the evening and with two small children it was quite a car ride to eat out, so often ended up saying in the lodge all night. A good location for places to visit and use as a base.

Fun Days Out near Marwell Lodges

Go Ape - about 4 Miles
Go Ape in Hampshire offers a unique opportunity for energetic adults and children over 10 to let off steam. The fun packed tree top adventure involves swinging through trees, climbing cargo nets, descending down zip wires and trekking through the canopies. Only for those with a good head for heights!  The longest Zip wire is a staggering 165m providing adrenaline boosting fun! The site also has a picnic area and kids playground.
Royal Victoria Country Park is highly recommended for a day out in the summer and has lots of things for children to do. There are woodland trails to explore with free maps and guides available. There are also several play areas, one for older children, one for the little ones and one for disabled children so no one is left out of the fun. Within the grounds there is also a heritage site, a tea room and a formal garden.
This is a really fun and memorable attraction which is suitable for day trips or short breaks.  You can buy your tickets online which will help you beat the queues especially in school holidays as well as save money.  With a whole host of attractions and thrilling rides there might not be enough time in the day!  Exciting rides include the Edge and The Cobra.  More family friendly rides for younger children include the Magic Carpet Ride and the Flying Frog.  We are sure the whole family will have fun at Paultons so check out their website for the latest opening times and admission costs.
See wildlife in their natural surroundings as you wander round this amazing park.  Otters, owls, foxes and badgers are just some of the species you might come across here.  This attraction is perfect for sunny days and ideal for animal lovers and families as well as couples.  Located in the Marchwood area of Southampton this is a very popular day out.
